Now reading: Chapter 150 150: The Death of Hisoka! Blood Soul Card (Red) from Hunter x Hunter: God-Tier Harvest, a Action novel by Authorizz.

As Chrollo and Hisoka stared at the bisected, lightning-filled torso of Ulquiorra, their blood ran cold.

The bisected torso wasn't bleeding. It was glowing.

The crackling green lightning inside the severed Lightning Nen Beast was violently expanding, emitting an impossibly bright, searing light and terrifying heat.

Oh God...

"Run!"

Chrollo and Hisoka's puppet faces twisted into masks of absolute terror. Without a second thought, they turned and bolted, desperately trying to escape the epicenter.

This scene... they rembered this scene perfectly!

When Feitan had been killed in Yorknew City, Chrollo had reviewed the aftermath. The horrific, white-hot explosion that had vaporized the Troupe mber had started exactly like this!

Ryker's 'summons' weren't actual people. They weren't powerful allies from across the sea. They were literal walking, talking, thinking tactical nukes!

From the very beginning, they had been completely and utterly played. They had sacrificed everything to kill what they thought was Ryker's strongest subordinate, only to trigger a catastrophic suicide-bomb chanism.

But by the ti they realized the truth, it was already far, far too late.

A few miles away.

"W-What is that?! Brother Ryker?!" Gon gasped, pointing toward the battlefield.

Killua stood frozen, his eyes wide as saucers.

He had t so of those 'warriors' before during the Heavens Arena arc. He had genuinely believed they were independent, impossibly strong martial artists. He had spent the last several months training like a madman, hoping to eventually close the gap between himself and Ryker.

But now?

He realized those 'warriors' were nothing more than remote-controlled Nen beasts created by Ryker.

Ryker hadn't just been relaxing; he had essentially been playing a massive ga of chess against the entire world, using avatars that were strong enough to solo the Phantom Troupe.

I can't even see his taillights anymore... Killua thought, his mind completely numb.

Biscuit was equally flabbergasted, her pretty doll-like face frozen in shock.

She had sensed the terrifying auras radiating from Aizen, Ulquiorra, and Grimmjow. She had evaluated each of them to be near Ryker's level of strength—aning they were all absolute top-tier monsters.

To learn that one teenager had conjured all of them simultaneously broke every fundantal rule of Nen she had ever learned.

But right now, awe was quickly being replaced by primal, instinctual terror.

Even from miles away, Biscuit, Killua, and Gon could feel the apocalyptic density of aura building up inside the bisected Ulquiorra clone.

Every hair on Killua's body stood on end. His assassin's instincts, honed by years of near-death experiences, were screaming at him to run.

If that thing explodes... it's going to wipe out everything within a ten-kiloter radius! Killua realized, his face draining of blood. The shockwave alone will pulverize us! Is this what death feels like?!

For a split second, genuine despair gripped the young assassin's heart.

But then, he looked over at Ryker.

Ryker was standing completely relaxed, a faint, confident smile on his lips. He was the one causing the explosion. He wouldn't just let them die.

Seeing Ryker's calm deanor instantly anchored Killua's racing heart.

"Well, then," Ryker smiled, raising his hand and snapping his fingers. "White Lightning Core Detonation. Let's enjoy the art, shall we?"

His voice was soft, but to the dood puppets trapped at the epicenter, it was the scythe of the Reaper.

The mont Ryker snapped his fingers, every single Lightning Nen Beast on the battlefield—Aizen, Grimmjow, and the bisected Ulquiorra—began to hyper-expand simultaneously.

With a flick of his wrist, Ryker instantly recalled Machi and Shizuku back into his [Nen Ga]smartphone storage.

"Ti to go."

Ryker expanded his spatial storage, engulfing Gon, Killua, and Biscuit in a flash of light. A microsecond later, Ryker himself vanished, teleporting miles away to another pre-placed Lightning Core anchor.

And then... the world ended.

"NOOOOO—!"

Hisoka and Chrollo's screams were instantly swallowed by a blinding, apocalyptic flash of pure white lightning.

KABOOOOOOOOM!

RUMBLE, RUMBLE, RUMBLE!

Even from over ten kiloters away, the sheer volu of the explosion was deafening.

The sky above the Soufrabi Plains was painted a blinding, searing white. A colossal, churning mushroom cloud composed of dust, plasma, and vaporized rock clawed its way into the stratosphere, blotting out the sun.

The light was so intense that Gon and Killua had to cover their eyes, tears streaming down their faces from the sheer glare.

Seconds later, the shockwave hit.

A visible wall of compressed air tore across the badlands, snapping massive trees like toothpicks, instantly flattening hills, and stripping the topsoil down to the bedrock. It felt like standing in the middle of a Category-5 hurricane.

When the roaring wind finally died down, the three Hunters stood in absolute, shell-shocked silence.

Their minds were completely blank.

"I-Is this really... the power of Nen?" Gon muttered, his voice trembling as he stared at the devastation.

Everything within a ten-kiloter radius had simply ceased to exist. The Soufrabi Plains had been erased from the map.

This wasn't martial arts. This wasn't even high-tier Hunter combat. This was the equivalent of a tactical nuclear strike. Only the most advanced, state-of-the-art military missiles could achieve this level of geographical restructuring.

Killua fell to his knees, his pupils dilated in sheer disbelief.

All the assassination techniques... the shadow steps, the rhythm echoes... what's the point? Killua thought, feeling impossibly small. Grandpa Zeno's Dragon Dive is incredible... but in the face of absolute, overwhelming destruction like this, it looks like a child's parlor trick.

In the face of Ryker's nuclear-level output, all technique was rendered utterly aningless.

But rather than giving up, Killua gritted his teeth, his eyes burning with a new, fanatical resolve.

Brother Ryker... I swear I'll catch up to you! Even if I can only ever follow your shadow, I won't be left behind!

"..."

Biscuit was completely speechless.

She stared blankly at the massive, glassed crater that used to be a vibrant ecosystem.

Ryker... Chairman Netero really knew how to pick his monsters, Biscuit smiled bitterly.

"Let's go check the results," Ryker said casually, acting as though he had just lit a firecracker in the backyard.

With a flash of lightning, the group teleported back to the epicenter.

The area looked like the caldera of an active volcano. The earth was scorched black, and pools of molten rock bubbled in the depressions.

There was absolutely no trace of the Hisoka or Chrollo puppets. They had been atomized at the sub-cellular level.

[DING! You have killed the player 'Hisoka Morow'! Auto-Plunder activated!]

[Success! Acquired: {Blood Joker Card} (Gold), {Vengeful Ulquiorra Obsession} (Red)!]

[DING! Synergy Detected. Auto-shredding {Vengeful Ulquiorra Obsession} (Red) to upgrade {Blood Joker Card} (Gold)...]

[Congratulations! You have acquired the new fused trait: {Blood Soul Card} (Red)!]

The chanical chis echoed beautifully in Ryker's mind as a massive influx of data flooded his consciousness.

[Trait: Blood Soul Card (Red)]

[Effect: By acquiring a drop of the target's blood or a signature of their Nen, the user can forge a Blood Soul Card. This card establishes a permanent, unbreakable tracking lock on the target. Furthermore, the card can manifest a lethal soul-seeking strike that will relentlessly pursue the target across any distance until it kills them.]

Incredible. Ryker's eyes lit up.

The Gold trait had been a powerful, albeit suicidal, tracking attack. But upgraded to a Red trait, it beca a consequence-free, absolute-hit assassination tool.

The dust from the White Lightning Detonation slowly settled.

Ryker smiled. Hisoka, the annoying, persistent fly buzzing around his head, was finally dead. And ironically, he had died because he had pushed his consciousness entirely into a puppet, completely forgetting the fatal flaw of Chrollo's stolen ability. He had quite literally killed himself with his own spite.

And as a parting gift, the creepy clown had delivered Ryker a second Red-tier trait (the first being his [Hyper Intuition]).

Thank you for your generous contribution to my build, Hisoka, Ryker thought warmly.

anwhile, inside the Greed Island Ga Master Headquarters.

"Warning! Spatial integrity failing! Aura density exceeded maximum ga paraters! The island's foundational Nen barrier almost collapsed!"

List, one of the Ga Masters, was sweating profusely, his fingers flying across his console.

"That was too close," Elena gasped, her face pale. "If that explosion had been any bigger, the entire ga server would have crashed, and the island's concealnt spells would have shattered. Ging would be furious if his ga was destroyed."

"We found the source..." Dwun groaned, rubbing his temples like a man suffering a massive migraine. "It's him. Again."

Through their administrator privileges, they pulled up the recorded footage of the Soufrabi Plains incident.

"One player? He's causing all this? If you guys can't handle him, I'll go take care of it."

A deep, booming voice echoed from the intercom. It was Razor, the strongest Ga Master and the warden of the island.

"Razor, buddy... before you say anything else, just watch the footage," List sighed, broadcasting the playback to Razor's terminal.

A few minutes later.

"..."

The entire Ga Master headquarters descended into a prolonged, heavy silence.

"This is absurd..." Dwun muttered, his eyes glued to the screen. "His aura capacity is monstrous. I honestly think he might be approaching Ging's level... and he's only a teenager!"

"He didn't use a single Spell Card," Elena whispered in awe. "He completely restructured the geography of the island using pure, raw Nen. It's terrifying."

"So... Razor? Still want to go 'take care' of him?" List asked nervously.

Silence.

"Razor: Uh... you know what, I just rembered I left a pot of stew on the stove. Gotta go check the beef. Catch you guys later."

Click. Razor disconnected from the comms.

The other Ga Masters stared at the screen, utterly defeated.

"So... what do we do?" Elena asked. "If he keeps this up, the ga's ecosystem will be completely ruined. He's operating on a dinsional tier completely separate from the other players."

"What can we do?" Dwun sighed heavily, leaning back in his chair. "We just sit here and pray. As long as he doesn't actively target the administrator castle, we let him do whatever he wants."

"I'll try to arrange another eting with him," List suggested weakly. "Maybe we can politely ask him to... tone it down a bit."

The Ga Masters were officially completely helpless.

In the past, players who attempted to break the ga's rules or use violence to exploit the system were swiftly executed or expelled by Razor. The Ga Masters existed to maintain order.

But Ryker wasn't a rule-breaker. He was a walking glitch. A bug so catastrophically powerful that the developers were too terrified to even attempt a patch.

Real World. Yorknew City Hospital.

Inside a highly secure, private VIP dical ward.

GASP!

A man lying in one of the hospital beds suddenly shot upward, violently coughing up a massive mouthful of black blood.

It was Chrollo Lucilfer.

His handso face was completely devoid of color, his eyes wide with the primal, lingering terror of experiencing his own atomization. His chest heaved as he frantically checked his body, assuring himself he was still in the real world.

He had never felt so utterly, helplessly outmatched in his entire life.

But as Chrollo caught his breath, his eyes darted to the bed next to his.

His pupils shrank to the size of pinpricks.

Lying in the adjacent bed was Hisoka.

But Hisoka wasn't moving.

Under Chrollo's horrified gaze, Hisoka's physical body was rapidly decaying. His skin withered, turning a sickly, jaundiced yellow before darkening to the texture of rotten bark. His hair lost its color, and his muscles rapidly atrophied.

Blood began to leak from Hisoka's eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.

His body convulsed violently three tis... and then went completely still.

He was dead.

Because Hisoka had fully synchronized his consciousness with the puppet to launch his ultimate attack, his brain had perceived the puppet's death in the nuclear blast as his own. His physical body had died of catastrophic psychosomatic shock.

Beside Hisoka's bed, the JoyStation console sparked violently, emitting a thick plu of black smoke before the screen shattered entirely.

Hisoka the Magician's bizarre, blood-soaked life had finally reached its end.
