The earth trembled. A massive creature, its body encased in dozens of arms, slowly lumbered into view. It spotted Roy instantly, recognizing the fox mask Sakonji Urokodaki had given him before his departure.
"Hee hee hee... Another one? My cute little fox! What year of the iji era is it now?"

A flaming sword-light flashed. Before the Hand Demon could even process the boy's words, its head, heavily protected by multiple arms, was sent flying. Its sickly green eyes rolled, not yet realizing what had happened, as its life flashed before its eyes in a hazy blur.
"Why did it turn out like this?"
"Why... I'm so scared, big brother... Big brother... why did I eat you?"

The Hand Demon's head hit the ground, glaring hatefully at Roy, before its massive body turned to ash and vanished into the night. Back on Sagiri Mountain, Sabito, Makomo, and the others, who were eating dinner with Sakonji Urokodaki, suddenly paused, gazing towards Mount Fujikasane...
The boy sheathed his sword and stood silently for a mont.
The panel notification sounded again.
