The scenes that followed were sowhat grueso.

When Duncan saw the Juvenile Dragon tear open the Cave Bear’s belly, pulling out a bloody length of intestine and chewing it with relish like a snack, he knew he couldn’t imrse himself in the perspective of the No. 2 Human Form.

This was just self-inflicted agony unless forced into an unavoidable situation.

The No. 2 Human Form devoured the Cave Bear whole, including its fur, starting with the soft viscera and intestines, then bit into the bear heart, gnawed on the plump bear paw, the bones cracking loudly, the dragon’s teeth were sharp, crushing softer bones to swallow them down, even getting briefly choked on the thick bear fur.

This wasn’t just feasting on raw flesh and blood; the Juvenile Dragon’s eating manner was more brutal than many wild beasts, but when it finished eating, it knew to rinse its mouth and clean its teeth by the river.

Elegance never goes out of style.

A well-grood Juvenile Dragon baby.

"Being an Alien Human Form isn’t that easy."

"If you capture a monster-like Human Form such as a Heart Stealer, having to eat a human brain alive once a month, I probably really can’t accept that."

Duncan manipulated the Juvenile Dragon to wash the bloodstains off its body. He held onto his human worldview, not truly being an indescribable dinsional creature; even the Juvenile Dragon’s feeding thod was hard for him to adjust to, and many survival instincts of those real monster human forms exceeded his moral acceptance.

He was above the dinsion, not about to tornt himself.

By comparison, vampires or the like seed too gentle, like big mosquitoes, rely sucking a bit of human blood.

Duncan also didn’t plan to completely assimilate with the Alien Human Form; he thought human worldview and ethics were quite good, and this eating manner of Juvenile Dragons — when conditions allow and with followers of Giant Dragons — he would still want to change, at least process the food before eating, even better if soone could make it into mature food.

Though history is filled with the term ’eating humans,’ Duncan could kill but really didn’t want to fall to that step.

Should he encounter a Heart Stealer-type that must consu human brains alive at regular intervals to survive, he would likely abandon it, extracting all value and then cutting off the link, handing it over to the Law of Cause and Effect.

Currently, Duncan’s self-awareness as a human was more important, far surpassing the value of one or two Monster Human Forms.

Of course.

If he fully accepted, the soul compatibility of monster human forms would increase while the soul compatibility of human forms would vary; it might decrease or stay unchanged.

But Duncan, as an existence beyond dinsion, loading into Human Form was an enactnt, not truly entering the role to beco a monster.

Overall, human forms were still the most adaptable.

He liked being human, because he would still feel moved seeing human suffering.

——Little Guy.

——You really can eat. Don’t waste food; bring it back.

——You should be able to drag it.

No. 2 Human Form’s dragon legacy mory bubbled up as text again.

The Juvenile Dragon ate roughly five tis its body weight in food, with a round tummy, but it didn’t look big; the food was directly transford into energy. Giant Dragons indeed had astonishing appetites, a Cave Bear weighing over half a ton was probably enough to satisfy it for two als. The fish here could only last until next spring, and excessive hunting would deplete the fish, causing them to migrate elsewhere.

Finally, the Juvenile Dragon dragged a plump bear leg, splashed back into the Ice River, quick to disappear.

Approximately half an hour later.

After the Juvenile Dragon’s breath receded, a howl sounded, several Ice Plain Wolves approached, about the size of calves, the leading wolf seed possessed of so intelligence, with ice-blue eyes, it vigilantly scanned its surroundings before gnawing on the scraps of at and bones left in the snowy ground.

Winter Wolf.

A peculiar Magic Beast, rumored that so can even speak.

Soon, even the blood traces on the snow got licked clean by them, a strong Ice Plain Wolf proudly carried a Cave Bear’s skull, prancing back to its nest.

Winter arrived, food was really scarce.

Shortly after the Ice Plain Wolves left, a squad of Catman Hunters arrived; the leading Catman Hunter scrutinized the marks on the ground, his expression imnsely grave, and muttered: "It’s that Juvenile Dragon."

"Killed with one blow."

"It hunted a Cave Bear, then left after eating."

"The leftovers attracted several Ice Plain Wolves."

Hiss!

The legendary Giant Dragon is powerful.

Their hunting of Cave Bears demands extre caution, while that Juvenile Dragon could handle it in just a few moves. Should they encounter it, they likely wouldn’t gain any advantage.

"Imdiately go back to inform the Priest."

"We’ve lost track."

The Catman Hunter tracked the marks to the riverbank, finding a frozen ice hole, realizing his party had completely lost the trail.

The era of Giant Dragons fades.

Now belongs to the Elves’ era, they enslave beast clans, humans, Sub-dragon people (Lizardn), and other intelligent races, establishing one potent slave empire after another on the continent of Lost Horizon. The worth of a Juvenile Dragon is imasurable; in future growth, it would undoubtedly be one of the Overlords of this continent.

This primitive Catman tribe now faces a destiny choice — they either face destruction or rise, all hinging on the senior Priest’s single thought.

Given their tribe’s frailty, continued winter migration was a dead end.

(Catn are a beast clan branch. Similar beast clans include Tigern, Foxn, Half-Sheepn, Lionn, and others.)

The aura of the Barbaric Era has yet to completely fade.
