Dragon’s Nest.
The chilly wind of the Northern Land carried a hint of moisture, and when the Juvenile Dragon opened its eyes again, the ice and snow outside had already lted quite a bit. In the area where Duncan’s second Human Form resided, winter was very long, lasting nearly six months.
By now, the Juvenile Dragon had grown a bit larger, with sharp, tallic-looking spikes erging at the tips of its Dragon Wings.
—Oh, little one. You’ve grown again.
—It’s ti to learn how to fight using your Dragon Wings.
Currently, the Juvenile Dragon was in a period of rapid growth, and due to the Power of Gluttony, its growth rate had already surpassed that of most Giant Dragons.
Dinsion Space.
On the small screen of the projection page, there appeared a grown Giant Dragon, its Dragon Wings spread wide and nacingly, stirring up a fierce wind as the frawork of its wings swung past like a flag lance.
Boom!
The turbulent wind and imnse force wielded by the pair of Dragon Wings directly demolished nearby trees, causing devastating damage to enemies within range.
—Dragon Wing Swing: With sweeping power, inflicts overwhelming damage to all enemies within range. The Giant Dragon’s strongest limbs are its Dragon Wings and Dragon Tail, possessing explosive power far superior to its four limbs. Characteristics: Crushing, Repelling, Knockdown. Can be enhanced into a Special Ability, adding an extra Wind of Magic.
Very strong.
Extrely strong.
With the Juvenile Dragon’s current strength, activating the Dragon Wing Swing could clear everything within a six-ter diater, with the stirred wind causing dirt and stones to fly everywhere, blurring the enemy’s vision. In necessary situations, the bony spikes at the tips of the Dragon Wings could pierce through enemies like a lance, their power comparable to a Lance Charge, though a bit difficult to hit accurately.
Duncan controlled the Juvenile Dragon to practice a bit and thought to himself, "The power is great, but the Energy Bar consumption is also significant. It feels more difficult than a Fierce Dive, making it impossible to use continuously."
"It’s suitable for dealing with situations where you’re besieged by enemies."
"The next should be the Dragon Tail Horizontal Sweep?"
Thinking of this, the Juvenile Dragon looked at its own tail, not yet fully developed. It needs to grow heavy dragon scales like a battering ram; so Giant Dragons even grow large bone spikes on the tail looking just like a giant flail.
The Horizontal Sweep of the Giant Dragon’s tail explodes with the full power of the body, with a combat posture sowhat reminiscent of the dinosaur in Jurassic tis with a tail like a battering ram.
"Giant Dragons really do have the innate talent gifted by nature."
Even Duncan, with his cheats enabled, felt like the Giant Dragon’s talent was akin to having open hacks.
The Juvenile Dragon didn’t even need to rush to learn Combat Skills; with ti, the Combat Skills would erge on their own. In the early stages, it just needed to develop well and improve its physical qualities.
The next consideration was how to bring the fisheries knowledge from the Middle Ages here.
When the Juvenile Dragon crawled out of the Dragon’s Nest, Duncan noticed that the surrounding ice and snow hadn’t lted. It’s likely due to the Wind of Magic generated during the Juvenile Dragon’s breath and hibernation, causing little change in this hundred-ter-diater area covered in ice and snow.
According to legend, when a Giant Dragon grows to a certain extent, the geographical environnt nearby will change because of its inherent magic.
The Juvenile Dragon spat out the Rose Ring from its throat.
The Giant Dragon’s chest has a storage area, but it can hold only a small amount of things. If truly swallowed, curiosities would be digested all the sa.
A bit of Wind of Magic swirled.
With the Juvenile Dragon’s dragon claw donning the Rose Ring, its power was activated, quickly causing the Juvenile Dragon’s body to change. In a flash of spell spiritual light, there erged a very young, probably only five or six years old, elven child, with dark skin, indistinguishable from a Dark Elf, but appropriate for the Juvenile Dragon’s life stage.
The Juvenile Dragon essentially equated to the age of about five or six years in other creatures; if not for the Power of Gluttony, it might have transford into an infant form.
"Couldn’t it transform a bit bigger? More mature would be nice!"
Duncan tried to concentrate his mind and command magic, but soon a prompt appeared.
(Requires mastery of Transformation School Magic as a prerequisite.)
Alright.
Without mastery of the corresponding spell school, you can’t even control the change in form size. Duncan also found that after transforming into a Dark Elf, the Juvenile Dragon’s Mana Bar was still gradually depleting, at a slow pace, but not sustainable for long.
Focus the mind again, prompting: ’Requires mastery of Transformation School Magic to reduce mana consumption.’
Urgent!
Is there an enemy skilled in Transformation School Magic? Co on! Let kill one!
Thank you.
The Northern Land was too desolate; Duncan adapted a little and decided to first seize the ti to instruct the Ancient Catman Tribe. This decision ca after finding signs during previous explorations of nearby rivers leading to the sea with lting ice, with schools of fish looming underneath, likely indicating certain fish species are about to migrate back.
Such an event typically happens once a year, and missing the opportunity ans waiting until next year.
Very soon.
The Juvenile Dragon returned to its Giant Dragon form, spread its wings, and soared directly towards the Catman Tribe.
In the dense icy forest, a Catman Warrior heard the noise, looked up, and imdiately said to his companion, "The dragon has awoken. Quickly inform the Priest."
"Have the clan prepare food."
Probably because of the Giant Dragon’s aura, there were barely any enemies near the Ancient Catman Tribe. However, these hunters did face so trouble, needing to travel farther for hunts. On the bright side, thanks to a few pees from the Giant Dragon nearby, there’s no worry of beasts approaching at night; even Winter Wolves, Northern Bears, Yetis, and the like, would all keep a safe distance.
It’s said that once there were wandering Ghosts nearby, but after the Giant Dragon appeared, even such Undying Souls vanished.
Evil retreateth.
The Ancient Catman Tribe, originally a primitive civilization of fishing, hunting, and nomadism, had shifted towards heavier reliance on fishing, forcing hunters to beco fishern.
But it’s well known that cats aren’t very good swimrs and don’t like water.
This is precisely why Duncan was eager to impart knowledge.
Dragon Stone Altar.
As the juvenile dragon slowly descended, the elder Catman priest quickly approached, followed by a dozen adult Catn carrying stiff frozen fish. That’s the advantage of ancient tis—the resources were indeed abundant. If modern fishern saw this, they’d probably drool with envy.
The Catn’s fishing techniques mainly involved fishing and using spears, occasionally nets, but they didn’t have fishing boats; basically, they cut through the ice and used spears to catch fish.
Two stronger Catman hunters, resembling lynxes with black and white spots, together carried a plump moose to the juvenile dragon’s front. With the ti spent together, all Catn had turned into green marks; as long as the juvenile dragon didn’t actively attack them, they were sowhat revered as friendly units.
The juvenile dragon began to feast heartily.
The elder Catman priest fetched so pearl-like treasures from sowhere, offered them cautiously, and then pointed to the two strong hunters, gesturing and jabbering, then pointing to the small piece of dragon scale on his forehead.
"Is this asking for the Dragon Vein Blessing?"
Duncan quickly understood; the giant dragon could grant Dragon Veins but mustn’t do so recklessly, as it could affect their own power growth. Granting a few was no big deal. As the giant dragon grew stronger, so creatures living around it might awaken a trace of the sub-dragon bloodline.
——Catman Elite Hunter (two-star silver-gray).
——Catman Shadow Hunter (two-star silver-gray).
All elite units.
It seems the Catman priest also understood that non-elite units simply couldn’t catch the dragon’s eye.
The juvenile dragon, satiated, picked two dragon scales from its nails and infused them with a bit of magic power; one was infused with the cold sub-species bloodline and granted to the Catman Shadow Hunter.
The next second.
The two Catn who received the Dragon Vein Blessing began to change, their fur turned snow-white, differing from the Catman priest, their strength enhanced significantly, and their pupils turned into pale ice-blue vertical slits.
The biggest change was with the Catman Shadow Hunter, whose fur turned like that of a white snow leopard, then when lurking, it seed to be optically camouflaged.
——Catman Shadow Hunter (three-star silver-gray) (Dragon Vein Sub-species) (Clan) (Worship)!
One turned to three-star whiteboard, another to three-star silver-gray.
Huh?
Why did the power of the Dragon Vein Blessing strengthen too?
Duncan’s projection page was swept by a Wind of Magic. When he turned his head, he saw the rune on the Dragon Stone Altar, which seed a bit dimr.
Indeed, it had dimd.
The runes on two of the altar stones had only a faint glow remaining.
"Is this drawing magic from the altar stones?"
Controlling the juvenile dragon, Duncan pointed at the nearby food with its claws, and soon the two Catman elites respectfully moved over, offering it with both hands, kneeling before him. After receiving the Dragon Vein Blessing, they were no longer as initially afraid of the juvenile dragon, and their gaze was full of reverence.
Can they be ordered now?
Is this another effect?
When the juvenile dragon turned around, not far away, Catman hunters filled with envy and curiosity all showed a hint of fear and dared not approach.
Only those Catn who received the Dragon Vein Blessing would be close to the juvenile dragon; other Catn remained mostly fearful.
"This dragon bloodline really is a cheat."
"A natural monster lord!"
The juvenile dragon donned a rose ring, transforming into a young Dark Elf under the startled gaze of the Catman priest; since he was naked, the Catman priest hurriedly offered a bear-skin coat.
The Dragon Vein Catn personally blessed by the giant dragon wouldn’t change due to the juvenile dragon’s form; they could still recognize the bloodline’s master.
Duncan attempted to speak, using the tribal tongue awkwardly: "Learn..."
Forget it.
He decided to start directly, grabbing a stick to swiftly draw designs in the snow, primarily fishing tools, small boats, and wooden houses.
The elder Catman priest rely glanced, his expression changed slightly, excitedly saying: "Quick!"
"Quick, bring the beast-skin scroll over."
"The dragon is teaching us knowledge!"
The elder Catman priest ordered people to shield against the wind and snow, swiftly morizing, then thought of ways to copy, increasingly excited.
A dragon teaching them knowledge?!
Unheard of.
But undoubtedly, this knowledge far surpassed what the tribe currently possessed.
Before long, Duncan felt the magic power had depleted significantly. He stopped and transford back into the juvenile dragon, leaving without looking back.
Co again tomorrow; you can’t beco chubby in one gulp.
Ti quickly passed.
About a week after, Duncan had mostly taught, and the Catman tribe now had craftsn, made a simple boat, and there were many won and children weaving primitive trawl nets, needing to hurry, as the river’s fish schools grew ever more nurous recently.
When Duncan landed on the Dragon Stone Altar again, he suddenly found the dragon-shaped pattern on it had also changed.
A giant dragon, holding a scroll, engraved at the altar’s center.
Six altar stones.
Each had a different pattern: one with a dragon teaching Catn to build houses, one teaching Catn to weave nets, and one for crafting boats; the central altar stone showed a dragon holding a scroll with mystical symbols floating behind, like dragon engravings, marks of knowledge.
This has really turned into sothing big now!
