In mid-air, Duncan’s figure gradually erged.
His attention was not on the golden figure in front of him, but instead he observed the changes in the surrounding space. A trendous magical power was forcibly breaking through the magical barrier of the Otherworld Secret Realm—this was not sothing an ordinary person could accomplish. The entity must be close to Divine Spirit level to do this.
Duncan said lightly, "You stay, guard the barrier."
Nearby.
In mid-air, rlin slightly bowed and quickly vanished into the array of the Secret Realm barrier.
Facing Duncan’s dismissive attitude, the golden figure, freshly hit, seed sowhat embarrassed and angry. His golden armor rapidly repaired itself, soon returning to its original state. He gazed at Duncan in the air, his words carrying a hint of provocation, "Your opponent is !"
Duncan remained unmoved.
He maximized his god-like perspective, trying to locate the powerful entity breaking through the Secret Realm’s barrier.
This is Divine Spirit-level power!
The opponent’s strength far exceeded the typical immortal heroic spirit, unmatched even by an ordinary demigod. If allowed to break the Secret Realm’s barrier, the consequences could be unimaginable.
"Damn wretch!"
"Daring to ignore ! Then you shall die!"
Faced with Duncan’s indifference, the golden figure in front flew into a rage. He instantly crossed several hundred ters, raising his hand as a stream of swords shot towards Duncan, the formidable magic power tearing through space. Behind him seed to reflect a treasure vault from another dinsion.
That was the treasure vault of Ancient Babylon.
—Gilgash (Heroic King) (Immortal) (Demigod) (Blood-colored Skull Mark)!
Clang!
A sword shadow shredded everything before it. The nurous treasures shot from behind Gilgash were casually sliced apart with a single stroke by Duncan. The Sword of Oath and Victory had sohow been unsheathed, and the Avalon sword transford into a brilliant hundred-ter beam of light crashing down.
Boom rumble!
Gilgash, just risen, was again cleaved down. The unparalleled might forced him to kneel on one knee, his entire body collapsing into a fissure on the ground.
"How is this possible?!"
Twice in succession, Gilgash failed to withstand Duncan’s attack head-on, his face full of disbelief.
He was an immortal, reigning above nurous heroic spirits, two-thirds divine and one-third human, the ancient heroic king. Even summoned in heroic spirit form, unable to possess his full power, he should not be unable to withstand even one strike from the opponent before him.
Moreover, the opponent was also summoned in heroic spirit form, similarly not a complete immortal.
Duncan continued searching for the hidden entity’s trail.
Though the Gilgash before him was thoroughly enraged, Duncan did not overly concern himself. To him, the hidden entity was the true threat.
This was the first ti soone evaded observation from his god-like perspective.
Normally, this was impossible, but in reality, it was so. Under the god-like perspective, there was no enemy mark, only the sense of magic power tearing through the barrier of the Otherworld Secret Realm.
"Could it be, he’s casting from an ultra-long distance?"
"Not actually entered the Secret Realm?"
Duncan still found nothing—the hidden enemy possibly had not entered the Secret Realm; his casting distance was beyond Duncan’s comprehension.
"Face , wretch!"
Directly ahead of Duncan, Gilgash’s figure instantly broke free from the Sword of Oath and Victory’s suppression. His figure soared into the air, accompanied by streams of treasures manifesting into beams of light coming at Duncan. A chain-like weapon cut across the sky, directly winding around Duncan.
Clang!
Duncan finally abandoned the search for the hidden enemy; he lightly raised his palm. The blood-red cursed long spear swept across the sky and landed in his hand, the divine artifact obtained from slaying the Celtic Divine Spirit Gwanu transford into a rain of spear shadows, instantly shattering all incoming manifested treasures.
As for the winding chain, Duncan easily grasped it, examining the runes on it with so surprise. He raised a brow, saying, "Interesting! Seems like it’s a treasure restraining divine spirits!"
"But I’m not a god!"
Crack!
An indescribable force transmitted through the chain; Gilgash in front had no chance to react, his figure hurled away by Duncan like a flail.
Bang!
Duncan flicked his wrist, and the golden figure was forcefully smashed onto the ground, creating a human-shaped crater. Before he could rise again, Duncan turned and swung, savagely thrashing him several hundred ters into the air like a pendulum, smashing on the other side, again producing a massive human-shaped crater.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Only after being smashed three tis did Gilgash’s figure manage to break free, even letting go of the chain in his hand.
If he didn’t let go, he would likely be toyed with by Duncan like a flail.
The difference in strength between them was simply too great!
At this mont.
The once arrogant ancient heroic king no longer had his initial arrogant stance; blood spilled from his mouth, his golden armor covered in dust, his whole person as disheveled as though crawling out from the mud.
When had he ever been this disheveled!
This encounter nearly drove him into a frenzy, wishing to tear Duncan apart. With the appearance of a pitch-black space fissure, his hand withdrew from another dinsion a manifested conceptual weapon.
