At this mont, Duncan had already absorbed most of the mories of the human form.
When he looked up, not far away, Hegel had already embraced that mature and alluring priestess, enjoying the highest courtesy as the leader of the group, and was the center of attention. Several of the daughters of King Dibite served by his side. Neither won from the clan’s upper household nor those nearby could even approach him. Other tribe won could only surround the nurous Barbarian warriors with eager eyes.

The Dibite River Basin was not their first stop on the journey. As early as when passing through the Ihe District, Hegel encountered a small country plagued by swamp Lizardn. Their group helped the king there eliminate the botherso Lizardman tribe, but disputes arose on their return. The king, after solving the threat, then attempted to drive them away, burning bridges.
In a fit of anger, Hegel killed that king and forcefully took his wives and daughters.
They stayed there for a while, and then Hegel led the Barbarian warriors that followed him onward to the southern adventure.
Because the Oracle told him to head south all the way.
On the road, they encountered a rchant from the Golden Coast. After helping the rchant retrieve stolen goods from a giant monster, the rchant was pleased and feasted the group. Unexpectedly, Hegel, who got drunk, forcefully took the rchant’s daughter and several wives.
After the scandal was exposed, the rchant dared not act. Hegel’s plan to head to the Golden Coast was shelved, and he diverted towards the Dibite River Basin.
All along, this area suffered attacks from swamp Snake Lizards, and people frequently went missing.
Hegel led his Barbarian war band to fight the Multi-headed Snake Lizard, but to their surprise, this was the greatest loss; about ten warriors perished. Of the original twenty or thirty followers, only seven remained, including Duncan.
The Dibite could not offer equivalent gratitude, so they celebrated with a grand midsumr festival for their great victory, also hoping they would leave behind so offspring to improve the bloodline.
The Barbarian traditions in this world resemble those of the Germanic people; dying on the battlefield is the true belonging of Barbarian warriors.
So, after burning the corpses of their comrades, Crete and others reveled through the night.
As for the group’s leader, the Fearless Warrior - Hegel, his feats cannot be sumd up in a few words; Duncan found several impressive incidents while processing the mories of the human form.
Hegel was actually exiled, due to drunkenly relying on force to seize the priestess of the Thunder Beast tribe.
Years ago, because he couldn’t control his rage, he killed the chieftain’s eldest son from another tribe during a hunt. This ti, his actions of defiling the Divine Hall by seizing the priestess led to his exile by the tribe elders.
During the exile, Hegel gained fa by hunting a Thunder Beast, consequently recruiting his first followers.
His origin is quite unique; legend has it Hegel’s mother was once the chieftain’s wife of the Black Lion Tribe, fad for beauty and bravery, known as "Female Leopard." During a wilderness hunt, she encountered an extrely majestic stag. She tracked it, crossed the Snowfield Holy Mountain, and when she caught up, the stag transford into a majestic and handso man. They coupled at the peak of the Great Snow Mountain, conceiving Hegel.
After giving birth to Hegel, he was handed to the tribe shaman for upbringing. His mother entered the Holy Mountain, rumored to have beco a priestess serving the Divine Spirit.
The human form began following Hegel as one of the Barbarian warriors after the Thunder Beast battle.
The Usga Barbarians revered the strong. Though Hegel had a bad reputation, as long as he was a fearless warrior with such a mysterious background, ambitious warriors would follow him.
"Is this considered a hero myth legend?"
"The Greek Pantheon isn’t this ssy, is it?"
Duncan patted the woman in his arms, pointed towards Crete, then pointed to his own abdominal wound. The woman seed to understand, showing disappointnt as she reluctantly walked back to Crete’s hut, where a queue was already forming.
Thinking of the Greek Pantheon myths, the present Hegel reminded Duncan of soone.
Hercules.
Corresponding to Ro’s Heracles.
This guy is very similar to Hegel in front, though Hegel’s battle record is slightly worse, character even worse, and self-control way worse.
In legend, Hercules chased a lion that attacked cattle across the border. The local king admired the handso and strong youth, thus offered his 50 daughters to serve him. That night, Hercules pushed down 49 of them (one was shy and resisted).
Nine months later, all 49 gave birth to sons, with two having twins.
Later, even the British Museum preserved a painting depicting the king’s daughters queuing to be pushed down by Hercules one by one.
Regarding other deeds of Heracles, there’s no need to say much; they are all quite absurd.
"Hegel is equally absurd."
"No wonder the human form wants to replace him!"
One can say Hegel, besides being a Divine Son, is hard to praise in other aspects.
He is arrogant, loves alcohol, reckless, warlike, and violent, yet also has fearless courage and furious fighting spirit.
Once drunk, this guy acts wildly.
Seeing Duncan rise, won by the bonfire started to stir, but he quickly feigned weakness, clutching his stomach wound, causing the won to instantly avert their gaze in disappointnt.
This is truly unbearable.
The most beautiful won of Dibite were all in Hegel’s tent. The remainder suited the tastes of Crete and others, who weren’t fussy.
"If the Furious Gods plan a myth similar to Heracles."
"Then this journey is purely about killing and fornication!"
The Barbarian fighters following Hegel didn’t hesitate to spread their lineage, sowing seeds wherever they went, following Hegel’s way.
The only exception was the human form itself; this guy aid to replace Hegel and beco a Legendary Hero, not investing much energy in won.
He naively believed that through arduous training, he could one day surpass the power of a Divine Son!
But it’s evident.
Hegel had so effect upon him; slightly out of sorts, this guy would explode instantly.
The Divine Grace of Kod, the God of Strength, always rested on him.
Though the treatnt of a Legendary Hero is enviable, unbeknownst when, near Hegel’s tent, other daughters of King Dibite and several beautiful concubines sneaked over under cover of darkness.
"This is highly likely a myth script similar to Heracles."
"What are the Furious Gods planning?"
Duncan was no stranger to myth scripts, as it was clear Beowulf was arranged by the Norse Pantheon; even King Arthur had rlin and Avalon fairies plotting behind. However, Arthur’s rise directly supplanted everything, leading the Guardian Fairies to put heavy stakes on Duncan.
This ti, however, it’s clear the protagonist is Hegel, while the human form is rely one of the companions, perhaps arranged for death by the gods any day.
In this current situation, Duncan must find a way to move quickly, not leaving ti for the Furious Gods to react.
However, how to break Hegel’s protection is the problem.
