"But as long as cutting people can enhance True Qi, that's enough for ."
"Slower is fine."
Many of Duncan's skills had a plus mark after them, indicating that a self-possessed ability was enhancing his Human Form skills. He just needed to review and consolidate to be able to convert them.
Not to boast, but with a sword, saber, or spear in hand, no conventional martial arts could rival his instinctive performance.
Yet, everything he mastered himself was all military skills.
Quite rough.
Focused on being practical and robust, chopping people chaotically and ruthlessly.
There were areas Duncan was familiar with and those he wasn't, such as finger techniques. In the past, he has used them timidly during basic routines, but here, finger techniques included many profound martial arts, and his past experiences provided no help.
Then there were the ridians. The Blood Child had not started the twelve standard ridians and only trained the extra ridians, as that old demon had no intention of training them into Inner Strength experts.
"Unlocking all these ridian diagrams should reach the Innate Realm, right?"
In the projection page.
Duncan enlarged the full body ridian diagram, noticing hazy shadows at the Mingn, Yuzhen, and Baihui acupoints, resembling dark red blood threads forming prints. Several places in the body and brain had dark marks, likely the curse magic planted by the Blood Refining thod.
"If that's the case, as long as I'm strong enough, I can break through it myself."
Everything was clear in his mind.
Duncan picked up a fallen bird from the ground, processed it directly, and roasted it over a fire. Many skills from the Eastern world could not be engraved and recorded, but the mark of all spirits was shining brightly, seemingly awaiting his return.
"Thanks but no thanks, the spirits are too capable."
The silhouette of the Mountain Temple erged at this ti, looking distressed at his own ruined temple, circled it, and sat not far from Duncan, under the eaves and at the corners, shaking his head and sighing, "What should I do?"
"The incense is gone."
"Now the temple is gone too."
"If it doesn't work out, I'll have to go to the City God to beco a wandering god."
This person's Spirit Body was invisible to the naked eye, and even Lu Shanjun could not detect it. He thought Duncan could not see him, sighing heavily, but little did he know Duncan was just pretending not to see him.
A sound of sothing breaking through the air ca.
Lu Shanjun's burly figure leaped like a fierce tiger, landing with a backpack on his back, from which ca the sound of gold and silver. He sniffed and said, "Didn't expect you to have such skill?"
Duncan handed over a skewered roasted bird, calmly saying, "The west is bitterly cold, so I've had to do it myself."
Lu Shanjun reached out and took it, biting off more than half with a tearing bite, looking surprised, "You've been to the Western Regions?"
Duncan ate to himself, whispering, "Can't quite rember."
"But I did learn so culinary skills."
Lu Shanjun crunched the bones, and after pausing briefly, the two set off on their journey. It was now dawn, and looking into the distance, they could see faint smoke from cooking fires.
It was from ordinary households at the foot of the mountain, unaffected by a night of bloody chaos.
Before the Mountain Temple.
The middle-aged scholar-dressed man sighed, "You all left after fighting, patting your arse clean."
"But I am left with no ho."
"And you still have the mood to roast bird at while I haven't had a decent offering for months."
Thinking of this made him quite sorrowful, sniffling with tears.
At this mont.
His nose suddenly twitched, and he incredibly slled a scent, the aroma of roasting at. Following the sll, he walked over, shocked, to see a branch with a roasted bird skewered on it, standing in front of the dilapidated mountain spirit statue.
"Eh?"
"Why can I sll this aroma?"
The middle-aged scholar stepped forward, greedily sniffing, and touched it, actually feeling so heat. His stomach growled with hunger, unable to resist taking a bite, actually tasting it, though it was a bit bland. He hadn't savored worldly food for decades.
"Why is this?"
"Being a yin spirit, why can I enjoy earthly delicacies?"
"Who is that youthful deity?"
The middle-aged scholar was utterly shocked. That tree branch stuck with roasted birds was like libation incense standing before the spirit statue. After tasting it, even his yin spirit form solidified a bit.
"Perhaps an Upper God has descended?"
Just as he turned around, he saw a corner of the spirit statue, laying ten or so golden beans. Though not much, it was enough to repair the broken temple a bit.
He was imdiately moved to tears, bowing in gratitude in the direction where one man and one tiger departed.
At the foot of the mountain.
Lu Shanjun suddenly stopped, turning to the youth beside him, took out a large handful of gold and silver from his package, and handed it over, saying, "I cannot be seen by people."
"There is an old hunter's house at the foot of the mountain."
"Deliver this gold and silver to him for ."
The handso youth in black stopped, glanced at Lu Shanjun, nodded, "Alright."
"But is there any reason for it?"
Lu Shanjun was frank, calmly saying, "When my spirit intelligence wasn't awakened, I accidentally killed one of his sons. Now, he is old and weak, childless, with only an adopted daughter, fearing he won't end well."
"Today I also felt the pain of losing a child, understanding so parts of human heart."
"No need to ntion by na."
"Just give him the gold and silver."
The youth couldn't help clapping his hands, "Okay. I'll go now."
He took out the gold, returned it to Lu Shanjun.
Seeing the perplexed look of this transford divine tiger, the youth crushed the silver ingot with his palm power, molding it into dozens of pieces of broken silver, explaining, "Possession of jade invites cri."
"Ordinary folks have never seen gold."
"If they have it, it will bring trouble."
"Just give him so loose silver tael, it's convenient to use as well."
