This used to be a small town of the Moonlight Elves.
It had now been turned into a big city that could acmodate millions of citizens.
With the help of enchanters and great enchanters, the speed of development had been astonishing. The quality was also top-notch.
The city walls were 50 meters in height, and they were crawling with luminous green vines. The vines made it easy for enemies to scale the walls.
But the greatest benefit of the plants was a defensive bonus. The vines would not stop the enemies from scaling the walls, but they could stop the dark creatures from using their magical cannons.

Many small tree houses had been constructed on it, and they were filled with Elven officials. The length of the lower branches was a few hundred meters.
The leaves overhead were shimmering with silver light.
The leaves were turning in such a way that allowed the sunlight to shine on the ground. This mechanism let the Elves who were on the surface enjoy the sunlight.
The shimmering silver light was the source of magic for the professionals to train.
It was not the only Moonlight tree.
There were other Moonlight trees nearby that were a few hundred meters tall. But the tree in front was definitely an ancestral tree.
The Elves of the second era planted many mystical trees.
The Elves were very fond of the trees.
Besides the World Tree, all the mystical trees, including the aged sycamore trees, had been taken away by the Elves.

William arrived at the ancestral land of the Moonlight Elves.
After the fall of the Elven capital and the palace, the Moonlight tree became the new palace for the Elven royals and officials.
Flying was prohibited here. William had to go through the entrance if he wanted to go up the tree.
Two guards scrutinized him as they extended their weapons to block his passage. Then they gazed at a familiar figure behind William.
“Who is he?” the guard asked, bewildered.
“Prince William Blackleaf and a friend of Princess Annie. The princess told me to bring him to her once he was found,” an Elven guide answered and smiled.
The two guards looked at each other and retrieved their weapons. They nodded at William as a show of respect before one of the guards said, “Prince William, please wait for a while. I’ll inform Her Royal Highness.”
“It’s not necessary. Bring him in.”
The guards were taken aback. An elderly voice had filled their ears. But when they looked at everyone, nobody else seemed to have heard the voice.
One of the guards smiled and opened the door. He led William inside, but he was puzzled. It was not Princess Annie’s voice. It was the voice of the Great Elder who informed them.
Both of them entered the interior of the Moonlight tree.
A magical tunnel that led up appeared before William.
The guard looked at the calm William and brought him into the tunnel. Then the guard made an incantation.
Swish!
The scene before them changed.
They had arrived at the top of the Moonlight tree. The person who wanted to meet William was definitely not Annie.
The guard noticed that William was hesitant. He smiled and said, “Prince William, don’t worry. The Great Elder wants to meet you.”
Hence, he gestured for William to walk over. The guard had no intention to follow William.
William no longer showed any hesitation, and calmly walked in.
He had no time to ponder why the Great Elder of the Moonlight Elves wanted to see him.
No matter what happened, William had to stay posed!
He was confident of his charms, so he did not have to fear death.
He left the tree tunnel and walked into the only treehouse.
The wooden door creaked open.

“Ah?” William was befuddled for two seconds. Then he recovered himself and bowed as he said, “My respect to the Great Elder, the powerful sage.”
Camelot ignored William and stroked his chin as he contemplated.
