At the front of the group was a girl with short, chestnut-brown hair, a pretty face, and tea-colored eyes. Her unique charm was further accentuated by a rare sense of boldness, making her irresistibly attractive. Her Tokiwadai uniform signified her noble status.
The only flaw was that despite her age, her chest was so flat it seed as though a Boeing plane could land smoothly on it.
Behind her, a girl with reddish-brown twin tails was clinging tightly to her arm, drawing a look of helplessness from the forr.
Following them were two girls wearing Sakugawa Middle School uniforms, chatting and laughing as they trailed behind the Tokiwadai girls. One had her hair decorated with a large flower, while the other wore a five-petal plum blossom ornant.
Selene chuckled; the Railgun protagonist group had officially gathered.
"Wow, there are so many people here." The crepe shop was on the pedestrian street, and one of the four, a girl with long, straight black hair, said in surprise as she saw the line.
"Why are there so many kids?"
Beside her, the girl with the large floral decoration, Uiharu Kazari, looked around, puzzled by the long line ahead.
Noticing the girl in front of her trying hard to conceal her impatience, Misaka Mikoto sensed the strange atmosphere. After a long pause, she cautiously spoke. "What bad timing."
Shirai Kuroko looked around after hearing this. "... Let’s go find a spot."
"Ah, I’ll go too then." Uiharu quickly responded. "Saten, I’ll leave my portion to you."
"I’ll pay you later." Shirai Kuroko said directly, turning around to leave gracefully, leaving only a girl nad Saten and an impatient-looking Misaka Mikoto behind.
"Wait... uh... should we move to another spot?" Saten Ruiko asked awkwardly, sensing the awkward atmosphere behind her as she turned around.
"Eh? Haha... No need!" Hearing this, Misaka Mikoto quickly put on an indifferent facade, laughing it off. "It doesn’t matter if we change spots or not... as long as I get a crepe, I’m happy."
Despite her words, Misaka Mikoto couldn’t help but look enviously at the kids who had received the giveaways.
Saten Ruiko sighed at this. So, the legendary Lv5, Tokiwadai’s Railgun, wasn’t so unapproachable after all. Instead, she seed a bit like a child, so tsundere.
At this mont:
"Thank you for waiting. Here is your blueberry chocolate crepe." The shop assistant smiled as she handed the bag to Selene, along with a small Gekota charm. "And here is your Gekota gift, please take it."
"Thank you." Selene smiled politely at the assistant and then turned to leave.
After Selene left, the shop assistant took out a sign saying the gifts were all gone and announced loudly, "All Gekota mascot dolls have been given out!"
What... they’re all gone? Saten Ruiko’s eyes widened in surprise, and she heard the sound of soone falling behind her.
Behind Saten Ruiko, a chestnut-haired girl fell to the ground in a dejected pose, exuding an aura of despair. She looked utterly pitiful.
Just as Saten Ruiko was about to comfort her, a tall, white-haired figure approached, with sothing green dangling from her fingertips.
Standing in front of the dejected Misaka Mikoto, the white-haired figure couldn’t help but laugh, "Oh my~ Misaka, it’s been a while. What’s going on here?"
Hearing the familiar voice, Saten Ruiko quickly turned around. It was the voice of that Tokiwadai senior.
"Hahaha..." Selene suppressed her laughter, looking at the pitiful sight of the chestnut-haired girl in front of her, tempted to give her the Gekota.
"Speaking of which... Misaka, what kind of pose is this? You’ve knelt away Tokiwadai’s dignity!"
"This voice is..." The despairing Misaka Mikoto looked up blankly. Due to Selene’s height, she couldn’t see her face clearly at first, but as soon as she spotted the green object, her eyes lit up.
Gekota!
The next mont, Misaka Mikoto leapt up, pouncing towards Selene’s hand like a hungry tiger. In Saten Ruiko’s stunned gaze, she soared into the air, trying to grab the Gekota from Selene’s fingers.
"Whoa, whoa... is that an overreaction?" Selene was also taken aback. When the girl pounced, she instinctively used her phasing ability.
So, while Misaka Mikoto’s heart shouted "Gekota," close, so close... she went through...

From others’ perspective, the chestnut-haired girl pounced like a tiger at Selene, went through Selene’s body, and finally fell flat on the ground.

"Uh... yes..." Before Selene could finish speaking, the girl let out a cheer and pounced again.

Unsurprisingly, Misaka Mikoto fell flat once more.
"Here you go. Seeing how excited you are, I’d feel bad not giving it to you." Shaking her head helplessly, Selene bent down beside Misaka Mikoto, offering the Gekota from her fingertips.
Hearing this, Misaka Mikoto cautiously touched it. Confirming it was solid, she snatched the Gekota from Selene’s hand and jumped up.
Ignoring the oddly curious eyes of the onlookers, Misaka Mikoto was utterly overjoyed after receiving the Gekota.
"Uh... long ti no see, Senpai." Finally, Saten Ruiko found an opportunity to speak.
"Mm, long ti no see, Saten."
"Uh... long ti no see."
"I didn’t expect Senpai to rember ." Saten Ruiko shyly fiddled with her hair. "By the way, Senpai, I still don’t know your na..."

Not far away, Shirai Kuroko and Uiharu Kazari, who had secured seats, froze when they saw Misaka Mikoto pounce on Selene.
