I Am Ironman (MHA) Chapter 246: MCU Marathon (11/19)

[Third person POV]

On Sanctuary II, Nebula manages to free herself and sends a ssage to the Guardians of the Galaxy, imploring them to et her on Titan.

Stark, Strange and Parker crashland the Q-Ship on Titan's surface, where they are imdiately ambushed by the Guardians, who have mistaken them for Thanos' minions.

"What master do I serve? What am I supposed to say? Jesus?" Star-Lord retorted to doctor strange.

Stark looked exasperated as he said, "You're from Earth"

"I'm not from Earth, I'm from Missouri" Star-Lord retorted.

"Yeah, that's on Earth dipshit!" Tony said, looking exasperated.

lissa chuckled and laughed at their interaction, slapping her knee.

They all agree to work together. While the rest of the group tries to devise a plan, Strange uses the Ti Stone to look into alternate futures. He then reports to his allies: out of the fourteen million six hundred and five visions of the future that he foresaw, they were victorious in only one alone.

"Seriously?" lissa asked in disbelief, "Out of all those futures, there's only one? That is insane…"

Thanos and Gamora teleport to Vormir, where they are greeted by Red Skull, now acting as a keeper for the Soul Stone after being banished there by the Tesseract in 1945.

"What?! Woah! Plot twist! I wasn't expecting to see such a familiar ugly face, woah!!" lissa shouted, almost standing out of her couch.

Schmidt tells Thanos that he must sacrifice what he loves the most in order to obtain the stone. Gamora is sadly amused, as she believes that Thanos does not love anyone or anything, making him incapable of completing the sacrifice or fulfilling his plans. When she sees that he is crying, she is incredulous at first. Schmidt tells her he isn't weeping for himself, but for her.

"Oh, Gamora is going to be dead, dead huh…" lissa muttered, shaking her head in both disappointnt and pity.

Thanos sacrifices his daughter by throwing her from the cliff to her death and later awakes in possession of the Soul Stone.

lissa scoffed, clearly upset about Gamora's death. She let out a sigh as she said, "Poor Quill, he's going to be devastated"

anwhile, the Avengers take Vision to Wakanda, where they are greeted by T'Challa and Barnes. They ask Shuri if she can safely extract the Mind Stone from Vision and she confirms that she can, but that it will take so ti. Maximoff is ordered to stand by at the operation table, ready to destroy the stone once it's free. Monts later, massive drop ships land outside of Wakanda's protective energy do.

anwhile, Thor and Rocket successfully revive the star core of Nidavellir, but due to the chanisms of the forge being damaged, Thor is forced to risk his life, using his own body to hold the forge's iris open.

"Damn… As much as I want to hate on him, him taking the power of dying star its so fucking cool and such an aweso feat" lissa muttered as she watched Thor flex as a beam of energy bath forth burning his body, but he held on.

When everything was done and Thor stumbled out of the machine, Groot grabbed the hot tal pieces of the axe with his elongating roots of arms. Groot roared as he raised Thor's new weapon in the air and cut his own arm off, becoming the weapon's long wooden shaft.

lissa watched everything in awe, the reflective lights of the TV rebounding off his skin.

As massive armies of Outriders led by Proxima Midnight and Cull Obsidian arrive in Wakanda, T'Challa gathers Dora Milaje, Wakandan Royal Guard, the Border Tribe and the Jabari Tribe led by M'Baku, accompanied by Rogers, Barnes, Wilson, Rhodes, Romanoff and Banner using a suit of Hulkbuster armor, to et them, hoping to buy Shuri enough ti to complete her work.

At first, the Outriders blindly throw themselves against the protective energy do surrounding Wakanda, with many perishing against the do's surface and only a few actually making it through.

However, once the Outriders begin to move around the edge of the do, Banner alerts the team that the beasts could potentially flank them, gaining a clear path to Vision. T'Challa decides to partly open the barrier in an effort to keep the enemies in front of them. The strategy is effective, but at the cost of massive hordes of Outriders suddenly invading Wakanda, quickly starting a fierce battle.

lissa let out a whistle as she saw T'Challa and Steve running side by side, clearly showing off their superior power compared to those around them.

Although they are able to take down many of hostiles, the Avengers and Wakandan armies are quickly outnumbered and overrun by the Outriders. However, Thor arrives via the Bifrost with Rocket and Groot, using Stormbreaker to turn the battle in favor of the defenders of Earth.

"Fuck that is sick! Damn it! I hate how much I love that, so badass! Ughhh! Damn it Stormbreaker might just be better than Mjolnir" lissa looked pained at having said that.

"A little too quick to say that don't you think?" Tony said with a scoff.

"Oh shut it, I an look at thing!" lissa thrusted her arms towards the TV

"Bring Thanos!!!" Thor roared.

Which lissa quickly mimicked, deepening her voice, "Bring Thanos! Bring him to !!"

Thanos arrives on Titan and is greeted by Strange. During a brief conversation with Strange, he reveals that Titan was his ho and that overpopulation led it to ruin. Thanos had proposed that half the population be killed at random to save the planet, a suggestion seen as insane.

Thanos now believes himself to be rciful as he plans to simply snap his fingers after acquiring all six Infinity Stones and cause half the universe's population to cease to exist without causing much pain, after which Thanos plans on finding a peaceful world to rest.

Nevertheless, they engage Thanos in an intense battle but Thanos single-handedly repels the assaults of the Avengers, the Guardians, and Strange.

"You know, for people who only just et, their coordination is pretty great. And Did just turn a fucking black hole into butterflies? Tony, we seriously need to learn magic. One way or another we need to make it happen"

Nebula arrives and distracts him. Eventually Strange, Parker and Drax are able to pin down Thanos' limbs while Mantis uses her powers to put him to sleep. Although she isn't strong enough to render him completely unconscious, he is still weakened enough that he is adequately incapacitated allowing Stark and Parker to try yanking the Gauntlet off Thanos' hand.

lissa stood encouraging them to get it done, "Co on, co on, co on." Repeatedly so.

However, when Nebula deduces that Thanos has killed Gamora, Quill becos enraged and attacks the Mad Titan.

"What the fuck are you doing!?!" She screeched, her voice rising octaves. "Wait for fucks sake!!"

Which prompted Thanos to regain consciousness just as the Gauntlet was about to be taken off.

"ARE THEY RETARDED?!" lissa shouted throwing her hands up in exasperated and pacing back and forth without taking her eyes off the movie, "I understand he's emotional that Gamora's dead but He couldn't just fucking wait for the gauntlet to be off?! And Nebula, couldn't she just wait 5 seconds before sharing the news?! All she had to do was wait until the battle was over!! My god they're all so stupid!"

Tony was just sitting down by the count with his legs crossed, his cheeks puffed as he suppressed the laugh seeing lissa so irritated and annoyed.
