[Third person POV]
"YOU MOTHERFUCKER, ANTHONY!!" lissa scread as she tackled him, relentlessly beating on him. Given the fact that she was a super soldier, the punches was less playful and more like being slamd by a truck.
Tony was sprawled on the floor, completely defenseless against the onslaught of superhuman strength and raw emotion. He was laughing hysterically, his chest heaving with uncontrollable cackles as he writhed beneath her. His amusent only seed to enrage lissa further.
"You absolute dickhead! What the hell is seriously the matter with you?!" she sobbed, tears streaming freely from her eyes as she punched at his chest—hard enough to hurt him and hard enough to make a point.
Tony wheezed between fits of laughter, lying flat on his back with lissa straddling his waist. He looked up at her tear-stained face and grinned like a maniac. "You have no idea how long I've been waiting to pull that prank on you!"
lissa let out a strangled noise sowhere between a scream and a sob. Then, with a shuddering breath, she collapsed against him, covering her face with her hands. Her shoulders trembled as she cried into her palms.
Tony's laughter died down slowly, replaced by a pang of guilt. His smirk turned lopsided, and he let out a soft sigh. Gently, he reached out and wrapped his arms around her, pulling her close and letting her rest her head against his shoulder. He cradled the back of her head, fingers threading softly through her hair as her breathing hitched with every sob.
For a while, they sat like that in silence. lissa's breathing began to slow, her sobs tapering into shaky sniffles. Tony leaned his head down to rest beside hers, his voice barely above a whisper.
"Want to know sothing?" he murmured.
lissa gave a faint shuddering breath against him. "W-What…?" she whispered, her voice cracked and fragile.
"The reason Peter disintegrated so slowly," Tony said gently, "was because his regeneration fought against the Snap. And his Spider-Sense warned him it was coming..."
lissa's entire body stiffened, her eyes clenching shut as another wave of tears spilled from her already sore eyes. She let out a broken cry and began sobbing again into Tony's shoulder, clinging to his shirt.
"You are the worst boyfriend ever!" she wailed, pounding her fist against his chest through her tears. "Why would you say sothing like that?!"
Tony offered a small, lopsided smile despite her emotional ltdown. "So you could understand the scene better, obviously," he said, trying to sound innocent but failing miserably.
lissa didn't respond with words. Instead, she cried for a full ten minutes straight—an unrelenting flood of emotion and betrayal pouring from her soul. By the ti she was finished, her face was blotchy, her cheeks red and puffy, and her eyes practically swollen shut.
She looked up at him with the most deadpan expression he had ever seen on her face. "I hate you with a passion," she said flatly, her voice void of all energy.
Tony chuckled and leaned in to kiss her cheek with a smug little grin. "I love you too, babes~"
"Touch one more ti and I swear, I won't even hesitate to castrate you," lissa said in a tone so devoid of humor it made Tony's smile twitch.
"Duly noted," Tony replied with a mock salute, chuckling as he finally rolled himself up off the floor. He then offered lissa his hand and helped her up, giving a satisfied stretch as he raised his arms above his head. "That was good. So... shall we pick it up again tomorrow?"
"PICK IT UP TOMORROW?!" lissa shrieked like he had completely lost his mind. "Are you insane?!"
Tony blinked at her, tilting his head. "Didn't you say this was your last movie? That you were tired and planning to sleep after this one?"
"In what fucking world would I go to sleep after that without watching the conclusion?!" she yelled, gesturing wildly at the TV. "You really thought I was going to just roll over and tuck myself in like everything's fine?!"
Tony pointed at the paused image on screen with a teasing smile. "In that world. You know, the one where you would've been snapped into dust."
lissa glared at him with murder in her eyes. "I'm seriously starting to hate you, Tony. Like, truly."
"Fine, fine," Tony relented, finally plopping down onto the couch. He reached for the remote and gave her a smirk. "Let's keep the heartbreak rolling, shall we?"
lissa, still fuming, sat as far from him as the couch allowed—arms crossed, glaring daggers. "You better not say a damn thing during the next one."
Tony grinned as the screen loaded up. "Next is Ant-Man and the Wasp. Buckle up."
lissa turned her head toward him with a look of pure disbelief. "Have you lost it? We just watched Infinity War! You're seriously following that with Ant-Man and the Wasp?!"
He shrugged. "Hey, it's part of the tiline. Gotta stay accurate."
"Fine," she growled. "Let's just get this over with."
By the ti the movie ended, lissa was in a significantly better mood. The lighter tone helped ease her heartache, though she still hadn't fully forgiven Tony for emotionally wrecking her earlier. That scar would take ti.
As they watched the post-credit scene, lissa sighed when Scott Lang got trapped in the Quantum Realm and the cara cut to dust where the others once stood.
"Damn…" she muttered, shaking her head. "And just when everyone was finally reunited. That's cold." She turned to Tony, eyes wide and expectant. "Okay, now can we watch the conclusion? Is the next one finally the last movie or is there more heartbreak coming?"
Tony leaned back against the couch with a nod. "For now, Avengers: Endga is the final movie."
lissa breathed a sigh of relief, pressing a pillow against her chest. "Thank God. I don't think I could survive another emotional rollercoaster. Let's finish this."
Tony smiled and hit play.
The movie started with Clint Barton, who is under house arrest following his actions during the Avengers Civil War, guides his daughter Lila in archery at his hostead while his wife Laura and his two sons prepare a picnic. Suddenly, everyone except Clint vanishes into dust.
"Awww man," lissa groaned, sinking back into the couch with a groggy whimper. "It sucks so much more when you realize we actually t them"
Twenty-three days later, Tony Stark and Nebula are adrift in space on the Benatar, their fuel and supplies dwindling. As Stark, still injured from his fight with Thanos and close to starving to death, records a ssage for his fiancée Pepper Potts in preparation for his demise, Carol Danvers locates the spaceship and brings them back to Earth.
Stark reunites with Potts, Steve Rogers, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner and Jas Rhodes; Rocket joins Nebula as they mourn the fall of their fellow Guardians of the Galaxy.
"I lost the kid" Star said somberly towards Steve.
lissa whimpered audibly and pulled a pillow to her chest. "That was his son," she sniffled, trying to hold back the tears already threatening to spill again.
Tony snorted beside her, barely able to stifle his amusent. "Technically, it's more like a protégé, but hey, go off."
She elbowed him hard.
"Don't ruin this for ," she grumbled, her voice thick with emotion.
The movie continued showing It had been three weeks since Thanos decimated half the universe's population with a snap of his fingers. Stark furiously confronts Rogers accusing him of being the one who broke apart the Avengers and as a result they were unable to stand united during their conflict with the Mad Titan.
"I an… he's not wrong," lissa said, frowning as she leaned forward. "If they'd all fought together from the start, they would have beaten Thanos. No doubt. Actually… wait. They had a chance to win in Infinity War—if Star-Lord and Nebula hadn't been such impulsive idiots!"
She huffed, arms crossed in a simring storm of irritation.
Tony turned to her with a raised brow, grinning. "You're still holding a grudge against them?"
"Oh, of course I am!" she snapped. "This could have all been prevented if they'd just waited ten more seconds?! Ugh!"
Tony chuckled, clearly enjoying her righteous fury as she grumbled and muttered through her emotional frustration as she continued to watch.
Stark questions why the Avengers only do their best after the worst has already co to pass before passing out due to exhaustion. With a tip from Nebula about her father's location, along with a Snap-like energy signature from two days prior, the team head into space for the Garden, intending to take the Infinity Stones back and reverse the destruction.
"Okay, that is seriously pissing off," she scowled, her tone rising. "He made cry my damn eyes out in grief, and he's just out here... gardening?! Making stew like he's in early retirent?! Seriously?"
They discover Thanos, now horribly scarred, alone and undefended cooking a al when they launch an ambush quickly pinning him down and cutting off the arm wearing the Infinity Gauntlet.
"Damn. That was fast. I thought there'd be more of a fight, or—Never mind…" lissa said flatly as they turned the gauntlet showing that it was empty. The stones destroyed.
lissa sighed heavily and dropped her face into her hands. "Why did I have to open my big, stupid mouth?"
Tony reached over and gently patted her leg. "Because your comntary is half the reason this movie night is so entertaining."
She peeked out from between her fingers. "If you pat my leg again while I'm emotionally unstable, I will break your wrist."
Tony grinned. "Fair enough."
