[Third person POV]
Romanoff goes to Tokyo and finds Barton, who massacred a group of Yakuza as part of his vengeful crusade against criminals who survived the Snap.
"Don't give hope…" Barton said in the rain.
"All this movie does is make cry!" lissa shouted slamming her fist on the arm rest in frustration as her eyes started to water, "Soon I'm not going to have any more tears to shed!"
"You are just way too empathetic" Tony said shaking his head in exasperated, while warily thinking, 'She hasn't even gotten to the worst part… Man I can't wait for the shit show that would bring'
The movie continued and Rocket and Stark build a ti machine, while Barton volunteers to submit himself for a test run into the past. Grabbing a baseball mitt from his hostead, he successfully carries it back to the present as evidence that their plan works.
lissa, while captivated, frowned slightly and tilted her head. "I'm really not understanding so of these pop culture references," she muttered. "You're going to have to teach where they co from and what they an. So of these jokes just… don't land for ."
Tony chuckled without taking his eyes off the screen. "lissa, if the Author dedicated an entire chapter to explaining every pop culture reference to you, he'd probably off himself before finishing it, and the entire series would end right there."
"…What?"
"What?" Tony echoed innocently, pointing back to the screen. "Anyway, shhh let's just continue watching" Tony said pointing towards the screen as the Avengers started their ti heist.
The Avengers plan out their Ti Heist, using points from their past to pinpoint locations for the Infinity Stones: the Space, Mind, and Ti Stones are found in 2012 New York, the Reality Stone in 2013 Asgard, and the Power and Soul Stones on Morag and Vormir respectively in 2014. They split into three teams and travel back in ti to begin their missions, mindful that they only have a finite amount of Pym Particles since Hank Pym also perished in the Snap.
Rogers, Stark, Banner, and Lang arrive in an alternate 2012 in the midst of the Battle of New York. Banner approaches the New York Sanctum and finds the Ancient One, who refuses to lend the Ti Stone to him. However, she relents after learning that Doctor Strange had given it away to Thanos in the future, fearing that it was done for a reason.
At Stark Tower, Lang and Stark attempt to steal the Tesseract, but loses it to Loki, who uses it to teleport away. Rogers obtains the Scepter from STRIKE possession by feigning Hydra affiliation, but is forced to fight his 2012 self who confuses him for Loki.
"That is an ass I would salute too!" lissa said as she placed a military salute to her temple.
Tony slowly turned his head and stared at her as if she had gone insane.
lissa blushed slightly before batting her eye lashes at him, "Don't worry, I still like your cute little booty the best"
Tony felt his eyes twitched slightly, "I'm not even going to entertain whatever the fuck is wrong with you"
lissa giggled focusing back on the screen
After Rogers defeats his past self, he rendezvous with Stark and Lang. With only enough Pym Particles for one more trip each, Stark and Rogers decide to go back further to Camp Lehigh to an alternate 1970, where they have another shot to grab the Tesseract and more Pym Particles. Lang is left with the Scepter to return to the present day.
At the S.H.I.E.L.D. base, Rogers stealthily obtains the Particles from Hank Pym, but runs into Peggy Carter's office while evading security. He tearfully observes as she works in her office.
"You have no idea how much my heart aches for them to be together again" lissa sighed, her expression marked with depression.
"I thought you shipped him with Natasha?" Tony asked with a curious look.
"What I want for him and what he wants for himself are two different things, as long as he is happy in the end that's all that truly matters" lissa said wisely.
Tony gave her a look and smiled but didn't say anything else and continued watching.
To speed things along Tony ets his father and Thor runs into his mother. Rocket returns with the Aether in hand, Thor shares one last hug with Frigga before reaching out to retrieve Mjølnir, finding that he remains worthy of wielding the hamr.
"Wha—! Its return of the king baby!! Woohoo!!" lissa cheered thrusting her fist into the air, clapping loudly in celebration.
In an alternate 2014, Barton and Romanoff board the Benatar for Vormir, while Nebula and Rhodes remain on Morag and wait for Peter Quill to arrive and lead them to the Orb's chamber. They knock Quill out and collect the Stone, but when the two attempt to travel back, Nebula is left behind when her mories are entangled with those of her past self.
"Well that is certainly no bueno…" lissa muttered.
anwhile, Barton and Romanoff arrive on Vormir. They et Red Skull, who informs them that the sacrifice of a loved one must be carried out in order for one to retrieve the stone. Barton laughs at the concept, but Romanoff deduces that it is indeed the truth, as Thanos had murdered his daughter Gamora there in their ti.
"Okay, no wait just a second…" lissa said standing up from the couch, her eyes wide and watery as she was understanding that sothing awful was coming.
Understanding the severity of the situation, the two struggle to decide who should give their life for the cause; while Barton insists he should do it due to the carnage he left behind in the wake of his grief, Romanoff declares that her life's work has led her to this mont. As they dash to the cliff, they wrestle to keep each other away from sacrificing themselves.
"No, No, No, No, wait, wait, wait, wait" lissa said mournful, tears already streaming down her face.
"Tony! Make her stop! Don't let her do it—" lissa pleaded, Ultimately, Romanoff makes the jump and dies, leaving the Soul Stone with Barton.
"NOOO!! WHAT THE ACTUALLY FUCK!!" LISSA CRIED, "FUCK THIS SHIT! FUCK THIS MOVIE!"
lissa reaches over and lifted the cough in one fluid motion. Tony quickly jumps off of it as lissa hurled the couch and tossed it to the TV shattering it in one go.
Tony stared at her with his mouth agape as lissa huffs and puff, tears still flowing down her face in grief. "The fuck are you looking at!!"
Tony flinched and looked towards the ground as he muttered, "Nothing…"
Tony heard stomping and looked at lissa walking away before disconnecting from the VR headset.
Tony sighed and took his off as well, he rubbed his eyes, massaging the bridge of his nose as he was back in their lab.
Tony blinked and looked around towards lissa and saw her heading towards their ship on a planet form in the distance.
"lissa… where are you going?" Tony asked, hesitantly.
lissa kicked opened the hatch and jumped inside the ship, "Where the fuck do you think?! I'm going to save Natasha, don't you dare think about stopping !"
Tony sighed, pitching his nose as he placed a hand by his hip, 'It was a mistake showing her the movies… What did I expect…'
