"Buzz!"

When the great buddha chop sword from Fusang erged.

At the remote ruins of Sacred Mountain Gui Zhe, the Ghost Buddha and the sword sang in unison, accompanied by transient aberrations.

The cold wind gusted, snow swirling everywhere.

In the small town below Qingyuan Mountain, Cao Erzhu had already returned to the blacksmith shop. As he was forging fine iron, he suddenly stopped and turned his head to look outside the window.

"Hua..."

Cao Erzhu hesitated to speak, instead asking: "Has he co?"

The door of the blacksmith shop was wide open, and his father sat hugging himself atop a large wine barrel at the entrance. Despite the cold weather, he simply draped a large cloak to stay warm.

Snowflakes couldn’t touch him; when they got within three finger-widths, they seed to be vaporized by an extrely high temperature, turning into flying smoke that rged into the cold wind.

"Sizzle sizzle..."

Kui Leihan’s eyes flashed with purple lightning, he withdrew his gaze, lowered his head, and instinctively touched the gourd at his waist.

After a pause, he rembered he had removed all his wine vessels earlier; he had abstained from drinking for a while now.

"Father, what did you see?" Cao Erzhu set down the hamr and approached.

With the sa pair of mortal eyes, he knew what he saw and what his father saw were entirely different.

Even the worlds they observed with their eyes might be completely dissimilar.

"Want to know?"

His father turned his head.

In the past, he wouldn’t have spoken like this, maybe just a "shut up," or "don’t ask," then sent him off to practice hamring.

In the past six months, his father had changed greatly.

He was willing to share many things with him, so Cao Erzhu dared to ask now.

"Yes!"

He nodded emphatically.

Kui Leihan looked at his son’s simple and foolish appearance, said nothing more, his tiger eyes squinted, purple lightning surged forth.

Boom!

Cao Erzhu’s body shuddered violently.

In his mind, a replica scene infused with purple lightning edges was transmitted across the void, causing his pupils to quake.

In the scene, at the high altitude of Sacred Mountain Gui Zhe’s ruins, the Ghost Buddha at the mont, seed to have gathered all the strength at his vermillion between the brows.

The vermillion writhed as if opening a ghostly eye from the middle.

The ghost eye appeared to be connected to sothing, channeling terrifying power from unknown places.

Subsequently, behind the Ghost Buddha erged a white-clothed figure with a waist-worn long sword and a copper lamp in hand, resembling the attire of the special Yin Ghost he had seen before.

Only, more powerful!

"Ghost Sword Immortal, Hua Changdeng..."

Cao Erzhu silently murmured, but what moved him was not just this anticipated figure.

As Hua Changdeng’s phantom appeared, behind him in the high sky, various aberrations lit up.

A monstrous purple eye, if void were its face, this eye occupied half the sky, eerily forbidding.

An inverted golden tiny pagoda, hidden underground, beneath which was a massive black coffin.

A japonicum connecting Earth and Sky, with root systems like tentacles, entwined around the golden tiny pagoda, its crown as an umbrella supporting the horizon’s purple evil eye.

"Hmm!"

Seeing this, Cao Erzhu’s body shook violently, he groaned, blood trickling from the corner of his lip, his eyes filled with terror.

"Ancestor God?"

He widened his eyes, staring incredulously at his father.

His father was calm, not displaying signs typical after witnessing an Ancestor.

What he saw was the first scene, but what he saw was the second scene after being transmitted...

Cao Erzhu clenched his fist.

Big Brother Shou always called him foolish, his father always said he was stupid.

Yet he felt he was ticulous, always discerning from these details how vast the gap between himself and his father was.

In his mind, he recalled his father’s words from dreams...

"Erzhu, if one day, you grow taller, beco stronger, and have the chance to challenge your father, would you dare fight?"

Would he dare?

Could he truly win?

"Suppose the hamr head is on your path, one must die, and if I don’t hold back, would you dare fight?"

Cao Erzhu remained silent for a long ti, still unable to produce an answer.

Upon regaining his senses, he found his father staring at him, even smiling—by heavens! He smiled?

"You’re sweating." His father pointed out with a smile.

Cao Erzhu wiped the sweat off his forehead, grinning, choosing not to respond, instead asking again: "Ancestor God?"

"Yes."

His father nodded, without any hesitation: "What you saw, should only be three."

Is there more unseen?

Cao Erzhu opened his mouth, just about to speak.

His father continued: "Rember, there’s also a big turtle with a little boy on its back, which is the fourth scene."

That ans, is there a fifth?

Cao Erzhu felt the urge to sweat again, his hand hovering in front of his forehead, forgetting to wipe it.

"The last one, is a three-story wooden pavilion, not very tall, its door open, with a tea table inside, and soone sitting there."

Who?

Cao Erzhu instinctively wanted to ask.

His father waved him off, cutting him off again: "No need to ask, being too detailed ans you won’t rember, when the ti cos, tell what you saw to your Uncle Bazhun’an... if he’s still around."

What does this an?

Bazhun’an, not around?

Cao Erzhu couldn’t hold back his questions any longer: "When the ti cos, when is it?"

"When the ti is up, you’ll naturally understand."

Kui Leihan turned back, continuing to gaze north, toward where the Ghost Buddha was: "If by then you can’t find your Uncle Bazhun’an, go find your Brother Shou, tell him these things."

Cao Erzhu felt an inexplicable sadness, asking: "Why not find father?"

"Do you need to rely on your father for everything, for to protect you all your life?" His father’s back was too imposing, Erzhu dared not speak much.

His voice shrank considerably: "What you can see, Brother Shou can also see, without saying it."

His father’s shoulder shrugged, seemingly amused:
