"That was a long kiss," Victor grinned, his eyes twinkling with amusent.
"Well, we love each other, it's a given. You'll have to do better with Selene, though," I added, my tone taking on a teasing edge.
"Huh?" Victor looked at , puzzled.
Poor guy. He really had no idea what he was in for.
I glanced at Selene and couldn't help but feel a little sorry for him. This poor soul was about to be devoured whole.
"That was so romantic!" Alia exclaid, her eyes shining with admiration. "The way you looked at each other!"
Of course, we were looking at each other; we were about to kiss!
"The way you exchanged sweet words!"
I felt a pang of guilt at her words.
"The way you held each other so close, with barely anything between you!"
Well, it was a kiss.
"And then Elizabeth's second kiss! Wow!"
She was just thanking in her own way.
"And then you looked at each other for a whole minute!"
I had no defense against that.
"Instead of talking about others, you should worry about your own lover. There's no way he'll do better than ," I scoffed.
"U-Um, yes..." Alia blushed shyly, glancing at John.
John shot a defiant look before grabbing Alia's arm and leading her away.
"J-John?" Alia let herself be dragged off, her surprise evident.
That guy could be surprisingly assertive when he was pissed off.
Left alone with Victor while Elizabeth was talking with Selene, I decided it was a good ti to bring up Celeste.
"Isn't Celeste acting strange lately?" I asked him.
Even if there wasn't any romantic developnt between them yet, they were still close friends, so I valued his opinion.
"Yeah, now that you ntion it, she does seem a bit off. Like, more girly? It scares , honestly," Victor admitted.
"Damn," I muttered.
"If Celeste hears you, it's over for you, lad," I laughed.
"Y-Yeah, don't tell her," Victor laughed back nervously.
Don't worry, I will definitely tell her later. She was talking with Cylien, so I would catch her later. I just wanted to see her reaction.
