The manager sat down and swallowed. The quiet interrogation room seed to answer him, at this mont he knew that he should not have taken this job, he had his reservations and now, he truly believed when his psychic had told him that an imminent disaster was up ahead.

How was he to know that new information had co about to spin the case in a whole different direction?

The door in the investigation room was pushed open and Arlen entered inside and took his seat.

"Officer, I followed you here obediently and you just...."

"I am very sorry, the team was very busy with new information that ca to light."

The manager swallowed but the more he started here, the more uncomfortable he was, "Officer, what do you want to ask ? Just ask. My hands are clean, and my conscience is clear."

"Mr Boone. Take a look at this video first." Arlen kept his mind calm. Just now, Ravi had told him the information that he had learned from the bartender. According to the woman, she was planning to leave the job at the end of the month.

"It has beco dangerous. There are a lot of missing people now, even more than before. I have a bad feeling and I have to leave. You have to understand Officer, soone like , my instincts have saved more tis than I can count." Ravi repeated her words, word for word.

Arlen fe;t like this simple murder case was becoming foggier with each second. Investigation can not be done in a hurry, step by step you check the doubts over and over again. Human Trafficking? But it would not make sense for them to kill Emily.

The video ca to play. Under a flood of gaudy flashy lights, there were over a dozen of scantily clad people walking up and down. Sotis, a person drinking would beco them and they would talk for a while before heading upstairs.

The chair fell to the ground as the manager panicked and stood up, "You., how did you get this surveillance? Are you illegally spying on us? It is illegal surveillance, It can not be used as evidence."

"It might not be used as evidence but it can be used to obtain the warrant. What do you think we would find when we search the premises? Prostitution, drugs, and even your boss would not escape. You would be looking at 20 years minimum. This is in accordance with Article 15 of Drug Law and the Regulation on Prostitution. ’’ Arlen exaggerated without blinking his eyes. He had done a little more research on Mark Bonne and he had learned that the other had never gone to jail. He had managed another club for 5 years before he was forced to offend soone and had to work in Club Lush where he had been working for six months. This was not a seasoned criminal, "Soone like you, do you think that you would survive in jail? Can you imagine what they would do to you there? You have only one choice, You can cooperate with us or you can get a lawyer. Watch the video in front of you, I do hope that you have a very good lawyer."

The manager flexed his fingers, his breathing coming in fast paces.

"Sit down and continue watching the video." His brother-in-law had taken his ti to send this equipnt to him, of course, he was going to watch to make sure his effort was for nothing.

The man sat down like a fish out of water, watching his face as he smiled gleefully at the fat man with a round stomach.

"A councilman is it? I wonder if his wife knows what he does every night?"

Mark’s heart thumped, that had been his greatest achievent as a manager, bringing so of his old clients to Club Lush.

"This is police evidence, you can’t..." He tried to desperately grasp a straw.

"Oh! This is my personal evidence, I can do with it as I will."

His face turned gray and sweat ran down from his temple.

"There are other clients and this man, isn’t he....Tsk...Tsk." Arlen looked at the man. The smile at the corner deepened and he looked at the man with pity.

"I will cooperate. Any question you ask, I will reply truthfully."

Behind the glass, Lisa whistled slowly, "The Captain is very handso when he is interrogating people."

"En." Ravi agreed, he is very handso right now. So handso, his fingers itched, he both wanted to draw this image and he wanted to run his hands through his person’s skin.

But he couldn’t. They still had this case. Sarah and Draco had headed to the town morgue to find out whether they could find anything. Arlen’s expression when he gave the order remained in his mind, he could see how much Arlen was hoping, praying that he was not right.

The man in the interrogation room was confessing steadily. He had already confessed all the cris that the Club Lush was involved in. The only good lining was that it was not forced prostitution, they provided flexible escort services, which made them very favorable to those who trade at night.

It is not just Emily he claid. So prostitutes, because they beca mothers or for so other reason, decide not to sell their bodies but want to earn money so other way.

"The Boss instructed to always find work for them. Cleaners, waiters, or delivering drugs. We cut their salary and retain them."

"The way he says it, like he is righteous or sothing. I hate people like this the most."

Ravi had seen a lot during his life so he was not as easily stocked up as Lisa who had an expression like she was going to break into the interrogation room any second and give the manager a beating.

But even though he had experienced quite a bit, he still felt a little nauseous when Sarah and Draco returned with pale faces and an armful of pictures.

There were over 20 pictures and they knocked on the glass in the interrogation room. Arlen soon ca out of the room and when he saw the pictures, his face changed slightly.

"The Morgue technician said that there have been more Jane Doe cases. They reached out to the news and no one ca to identify the bodies." There were various pictures and Arlen glanced through them.

Draco had finished throwing up outside and his face was a little pale, "they ran their faces through the National database but shouldn’t we conduct a little more investigation?"

Arlen looked at him, "Wait."

Arlen entered the room again and placed the pictures in front of the manager, "Can you identify them? How many of these won worked in your Club Lush?"

The pictures were of various slightly chilled female corpses.

When had Mark Boone seen this kind of sight before?

Arlen gave him a plastic bag and the man hurriedly reached for it. He opened it and imdiately buried his face, vomiting directly.

His face was bale and almost blue as he retched violently. He turned his stomach inside out, retching until there was nothing left, tears welled in his eyes as he caught his breath, his face turning paler. His fingers were curled and he pulled his clothes tighter.

"Mr Boone." Arlen wanted to be cold but a hint of pity could not help but leak out in his hand and he stood up and returned with a cup of water for the manager. "Manager, point out your workers and clearly tell their nas and when last they ca to work." Clear and easy-to-follow instructors seed to work the magic on the manager.

With shaky fingers, he pointed at each other. Ravi ca in with a jotter to take down the notes even though there was a recorder. Sitting next to Arlen, he slipped his hand under the table to hold his, pressing it calmly.

It was the only comfort he could think to give.

13 won had been missing from Club Lush in four months. It was an insane number and yet, it had not been reported. Nobody had made a sound. Why?

Anyone could easily guess the reason. From ti immorial, prostitutes have always been an easy target. A lot of them were estranged from their family or had none, who would report if they were missing or would fight for justice for them.

This was not a coincidence. Ravi knew and he knew Arlen knew too.

Soone was killing these won. The knife slashes were all different locations but it was the sa knife wound over and over again. Scattered around the table, they looked chilling.

Evil people existed.

Questions about morality and good and evil in human nature were themselves the ultimate questions for humanity.

Ravi had no intention of starting a question that had plagued countless philosophers and students of human behavior. He was just worried that this dark world would affect this bright soul next to him.

Ravi’s body temperature was cold, he was not a human but a Sentinel, he did not have the warmth humans do so he held the hand a little tighter.
