"I am sorry. Rey, well, she was dropped on the head as a child. It ssed her up." Arlen closed the window where his sister had just flown out from and placed birth hands together in supplication as he blinked with large puppy dog eyes.
Ravi chuckled, he was not upset with Rey, she had been direct and didn’t but she was not rude. She did not look down on him or have that condensing look that people born into wealth subconsciously had.
Her eyes were just curious. Those clear blue eyes looked a lot like Arlen.
"She is right. You don’t know anything about ."
Arlen chuckled, pulling him over and Ravi leaned on him. They looked at each other and Arlen kissed him on the temple gently.
"Your na is Ravi West, you are 24 years old and you are my very handso, beautiful, irresistible boyfriend."
And not just beautiful, exquisitely beautiful. Those gray-gold eyes and lush, inviting lips. Arlen leaned in to kiss him, his lips pressing against Ravi with an intent to send his kind reeling. He wrapped his arm around Ravi’s waist pulling him flush against him as he kissed him.
His tongue darted into Ravi’s mouth, the confident strokes causing a whimper to escape from Ravi who was trying to put his words together. It was Arlen; Arlen knew him, his body, and how to play it like an instrunt.
Arlen grinned at the sound; kissing Ravi’s lips harder, as if savoring each brush of their lips, like it was water on a desert ground. He pulled away, sucking a steady breath as he pushed his thumb across Ravi’s lower lips swollen from their kiss.
"I think I know you pretty well." He whispered and Ravi paused. He could feel the thump, thump, thump of Arlen’s heart and he rested on it.
How much he loved this person! Tomorrow, he will et Arlen’s family. ’Mr. West, you are a mystery. She had not lied.
He leaned up to kiss Arlen, just a short press of his lips, "Actually, I am 524 years old and I am not from this world."
He looked at Arlen, watching him intently so that nothing would escape his eyes. Strangely, there were no nerves in his heart, and he even burrowed even closer into Arlen.
"To think my type was older n. Tsk. Tsk."
Min sol! Min Sol!’
Ravi closed his eyes as Arlen placed a kiss on his eyelid. His lips pulled into a smile.
The two of them fell into a spell of tactic silence, warming each other up in their embrace in silence.
Until Ravi spoke.
And talked and talked.
From his ti in the orphanage, to dying, to waking up in the Sentinel Realm, to becoming stronger, learning, becoming stronger, missions and missions and missions and missions. eting Alya, Breaking up with Alya, making friends, losing friends, missions, deaths, missions, and his eventual ltdown.
He had never spoken to soone about everything. Everything that he had ever done, everything that he is. He continued to narrate his past to this person he loved even more than himself.
So were blurry, so were nice mories that he had even forgotten, and so were dark, so dark he had to take a short break just to continue.
"Ravi. Love."
Arlen would call his na at tis, softly, gently as if cradling him and not allowing to sink helplessly into the quagmire of mories.
He would stroke his head gently. However, at tis when Ravi got to the darker parts, he could feel the body wrapped around his stiffen and he would caress him softly along his arm.
"And then I ca here four years ago. I was not sure what I was expecting. I was tired and exhausted. Depressed and grieving. I just wanted sowhere I could..."
Ravi bared himself to the bone and yet there was faith. Faith that he would not be hard by his vulnerability.
He t Arlen’s eyes. Arlen stared at him fixedly, the light rolling in his eyes, flickering in the silence. The flickers in his gaze were like the winter sun shining upon the calm waters of a sea. So clear, so warm. You can drown in them.
Arlen comforted, consoled him, holding him so tight. They talked until they could see the beginning of the sun’s journey.
"So the reason you fainted."
"Yes." Ravi said, "Are you scared that my true form would be different from this mortal body? I did not know that you are such a face con." Ravi said in a joking voice. He had thought about this day a lot, the day he finally told Arlen who he was, he had thought about how the day would go and how it would end, he never imagined it would be like this.
Still in each other’s embrace and joking like that.
Arlen placed his palm on his chest, "Ravi, how can you say that? I would love you even if you were a worm."
Ravi rolled his eyes, he could not help it with the exaggerated look on Arlen’s face, "Fine, you won!"
Arlen chuckled, his laughter like a high-shelf whisky washing over him, he reached out to cup his chin, "If I will it, I can destroy this planet you call ho. I am very, very dangerous. Do you understand?"
The instinct that all humans had made all of Arlen’s hair stand on end. He had felt this kind of pressure from his mother before but this was even more potent.
It was so rciless and so enchanting. It was as if an unspeakable sense of terror slowly climbed up his spine, coming from the depths of his body. It was as if every nerve was screaming- run, run, run.
But at the sa ti, it was so intoxicating that it felt as if his heart would lt into sugar water.
Ravi wanted to scare him a little but he froze. He could feel sothing rising steadily under him, as if the aura he used to scare people shitless on the battlefield was so arousing foreplay.
His hazel eyes were more than bewildered as he looked up at Arlen. "You...You.." He was not sure what he should begin with.
Arlen’s eyes gradually turned red and there was a mischievous expression in his eyes, "What should I do? I am a young human male in my 20s. It is a natural reaction."
Ravi had been to over a hundred worlds and had t over a hundred races so he could be qualified enough to say this. Getting aroused was definitely not a natural reaction to killing intent.
