Ravi walked down the stairs, he casually glanced at the kitchen to see so packets of noodles on the table.
Noodles were not bad for such rainy weather. Speaking of the rain, it has reduced a bit since a few minutes ago.
Too bad! He wanted to rain so more.
Ash was at the window, it was peering through it as if to see the person at the door. That would not work from that window, doesn’t it know that?
He opened the door to face a tall, young man in a soaked dark blue uniform. The unrelenting rain fell between them, their eyes t silently.
The tall man smiled, "You should ask who it is before you open the door, especially at night." The voice was low and friendly.
Ravi felt his breathing beco shaky as he closed his eyes, opening it a few seconds later, "Captain?" He muttered out loud. It was not as much of a question as it was an answer.
"En. Sorry for showing up unannounced."
Ravi’s brain had not booted. Yesterday, he was sick and Arlen ca to check up on him but today, why was he here today, right now?
"I just wanted to see you." A cheeky smile was on his face, even as the raindrops fell from the strands of his hair.
See him? Heat spread through his cheeks and his ears flushed.
He saw the other person chuckle and he gritted his teeth.
"Don’t tease ." He rubbed through his hair, feeling the dampness, he looked at the soaked Captain and his eyes suddenly widened, "Ah! It is raining, you should co..." he looked up at the sky, and just as the damn rain started, it suddenly stopped.
"Weird." He looked at the Captain, it was also weird the way he avoided his gaze right now. "Co in, if you stay outside for long, you will catch a cold."
"You are inviting in?"
Ravi rolled his eyes, "You are not a Vampire, Captain should watch less Blue Blood and other fantasy detective movies."
"I don’t watch other fantasy detective movies. Oh! It is Asher. Ash! It is , co here." He squatted down so that he could pet the kitten but the cat easily moved away from his touch, and jumped on the table, watching him cautiously.
"It does not like ." He groaned and blinked his eyes pitifully at Ravi, who smiled helplessly. He had used the ti that Arlen had been distracted with Asher to manipulate a pebble into a soft, fluffy towel, "Dry your hair. I would go upstairs to look for so clothes for you. What?"
Arlen shook his head, "I made the right choice coming here. Thank you Ravi." His gaze was soft, it was like the ocean early in the morning.
His ears were flushing red so earlier these days, he might have internal heat or sothing in that line. He bit his lips and his pace quickened as he rushed upstairs.
He closed the door and slumped against it.
The red flush had spread across his entire face, his entire body was stiff, and yet his heart felt as if soone had gripped it tightly. His heart pounded violently, each thump louder than the last, so loud that it caused his ears to ring.
His clothes, Arlen wearing his clothes. Wasn’t that too intimate? His lounge clothes with his scent, against that body, mixing that scent that was uniquely Arlen? He swallowed.
Ravi touched his cheeks. It was too hot.
"Ravi, it is just clothes. You are overreacting." Besides, his taking so much ti would definitely raise so concerns. Arlen was also in his soaked uniform, he might catch a cold.
The thought made him get up and head to the bathroom, splashing so cold water against his face. He splashed so more till he cald down considerably.
He opened his wardrobe and searched for the biggest clothes he could find. He took the clothes and ran down the stairs.
"Here." He handed the clothes to Arlen who was still teasing Asher who was ignoring him.
Arlen took the clothes and began to open his top button.
"You." Ravi’s voice took a pitch he did not believe was quite possible, "There is a bathroom there, Go and change there." He pointed at the guest bathroom.
Arlen chuckled. He was so easy to tease. He released the button he had not yet pooped and headed to the guest bathroom.
Ravi watched him leave and rubbed his forehead.
"ow."
The cat who had been ignoring Arlen moved towards Ravi.
"Are you hungry?"
The cat shook his head.
Ravi gave him a pointed look and the Cat slowly nodded his head, "Dinner would be ready soon."
"That is my Captain, Arlen Sinclair." His eyes softened subconsciously, "He is also my friend. He would be visiting us. Don’t be scared. He is a good person, he would not harm you."
"Are you cold?"
"You might be the only person that I know that talks to his cat as if it is human and capable of understanding you."
"You can summon lightning, I think understanding cats is the least supernatural thing in this world." He stood up from where he was squatting.
Why did he stand up? Arlen was enjoying the view, "Wouldn’t that be worse? If he understands, then why would he hate so much"
He was doing it again, speaking in that pitiful voice that made Ravi want to give him everything he wanted, "Ash does not hate you. He is just shy around strangers. Ah! You shouldn’t change in front of him, he hates that." Ravi could not say that the cat was human after all, so he turned to face Arlen.
Arlen was leaning against the arch that separated the kitchen from the living room. The top was tight against his well-built fra, showing a waist that looked sculpted with the curves of his muscles clearly and boldly, delineated.
Seeing Ravi look at him, he flashed him a smile.
He was like a masterpiece created with ticulous care and attention. Words could not convey how attractive this person was to Ravi. The more he interacted with him, the more handso he beca. It was as if the shining and bright soul shone through his body. His beauty captivated one’s soul.
Ravi watched him blankly, unable to blink.
