The knights atop the warhorses were thrown off by the frenzied beasts, which lowered their heads and gulped down the sheets of paper, chewing them like the freshest pasture grass.
One knight, after hitting the ground, furiously whipped his horse, only to be knocked flying by a powerful backward kick.
Another knight, angry and intent on killing his horse, was stomped repeatedly by several warhorses and literally trampled out of existence on the spot.
Wen Yan stared blankly at the scene, utterly bewildered.
