"Forget it, start the boat, quick."

Wen Yan gazed out at the sea, endless and vast, even the harbor behind him seed to be sinking below the horizon.

"This is really fucked up."

...

On the yacht, the girl wielding the Ei Thorn was stabbed through by the opponent's rusty blade.

She didn't show any pain, instead, her anger erupted.

The two Ei Thorns spun in her hands, stabbing into both sides of the Water Ghost's head; with a savage twist, she shredded its skull to pieces.

"My clothes are expensive, you know!"

She reached out, pulled out the long blade. Not a drop of blood spilled from the wound—underneath the skin, it was obviously synthetic material.

She reached out and plucked away debris from her wound, her anger only rising the more she looked.

Standing atop the high platform, Zhang Qihui said in a deep voice,

"I'll reimburse you later!"

Hearing that, the Ei Thorn girl's face lit up, her arm twisting back behind her head with a sharp crack.

Then a fissure split open at the back of her head, running all the way down to the tailbone.

A smooth, gleaming White Skeleton broke free from the fissure.

The skeleton's eyes lit up with two rays of light. Ei Thorns in hand, she stepped right out of her own body, her voice ringing out sharply,

"This is bullshit!"

"That was my favorite body!"

"But for the boss!"

The White Skeleton, wielding the Ei Thorns, shed her body—and with that, her speed doubled, tal glinting off the blades as she flashed about the deck, slaying the Ghosts trying to board.

On the ruined ship behind them, a Ghost wielding a long blade realized that storming the yacht wasn't working: the other side had real experts.

So he raised his blade, howled, and under his feet the half-sunken ship began to rise out of the ocean.

Below the ruined ship, hordes of black sea crabs sward up its sides, crawling onto the deck, then followed along the anchor chains—charging toward the yacht.

In an instant, the chains looked several tis thicker, writhing with a mass of crabs moving as one, dense as a cloud of bees layered atop each other.

On the yacht, the girl swinging the Butcher Knife was hacking with all her might at the chain locked to the deck. Sparks flew, but the chain refused to break.

Zhang Qihui frowned, glanced at the suitcase next to him—nothing useful left inside.

He hadn't been imparted a talisman, nor learned the Thunder Skill; his ntality didn't match anyway, even if he did learn, results would be half for double the effort.

Other spells were too much trouble, or the requirents too high, so he didn't want to bother with them.

If he'd stayed ho, he was afraid he'd give his grandpa a heart attack.

Who could have thought they'd run into sothing like this now?

He looked at the others.

"Don't hold back now, I'll make sure you all get brand new ones!"

Seeing Zhang Qihui starting to panic, the remaining seven girls shouted,

"Long live the boss! For the boss!"

Then, the bodies of the seven girls split open, revealing synthetic forms underneath; skeletons stepped right out of them one by one.

Eight skeletons, each wielding their own weapon, stood at the stern—coordinated and seamless in their teamwork.

The rapidly advancing swarm of crabs, thick as bees, were all swept off—none left standing.

From the hacked-up black crabs, black fluid sprayed across the deck, sizzling like acid and eating away at the paint in seconds.

So of the liquid splashed onto the skeletons, burning black blotches into their bone.

Just as they were about to be overwheld, a furious roar of a speedboat's engine echoed from afar.

Head-on at top speed, a speedboat was racing towards the yacht.

Wen Yan stood at the prow. As the speedboat ramped over a wave again, he leapt—soaring seven or eight ters high.

He shot right past the yacht, straight for the ruined ship behind.

On that broken ship, the Long Blade Ghost saw Wen Yan flying his way and quickly tried to dodge aside.

But in the next instant, a Gray Cloth sprang from Wen Yan's left arm, shot out, and wrapped around the ruined ship—dragging Wen Yan toward it.

Still in midair, Wen Yan's Yang Energy erupted like a blazing Great Sun in the darkness—instantly lighting up the night.

With the Beast Nesis equipped, the saber technique gave his control over his own body a whole new level.

One hand grasped the Gray Cloth. As he was about to land, he gave it a soft pull, cushioning himself as he hit the ship's deck.

As soon as he landed, he swapped to the Water Ghost Nesis.

His Yang Energy, infused with his will, blasted forth—unleashing deadly power in an instant.

At that mont, his Yang Energy began to carry the effect of the Water Ghost Nesis.

As the Yang Energy spread out, three Water Ghosts within three ters instantly triggered the annihilation effect.

With a blink, they dissolved into the air, vanishing on the spot.

Scorching flas blazed, burning bright as the sun.

The densely packed black sea crabs all around, within the flas, shriveled up in seconds, turning to ash and scattering in the wind.

Wen Yan hunched low, crossed the deck in three rapid steps, sweeping like a blazing sun across the ruined ship from one end to the other in a devastating arc.

The Long Blade Ghost had just swung his weapon—but with a whoosh, the long blade flew from his hand, embedding in the deck.

His own body was left completely defenseless; with just one hand, Wen Yan caught him easily.

The Long Blade Ghost stared at Wen Yan, feeling his aura—absolutely terrified.

He recognized him. This whole assignnt was to capture this very guy...who was now holding him like a chick.

Did the one in the sea…seriously misunderstand their actual strength?

How the hell were they supposed to capture this guy?

"Don't kill ! We were only following orders!"

Hearing that, Wen Yan's face instantly turned cold.

So, it wasn't just a random rampage by Ghosts.

"Say it. Who sent you to silence us?"

The Long Blade Ghost was stunned for a second, then quickly said,

"No, no, it's—not that! You took a Nether Soul from soone in the sea; he woke up, sent us to capture you…"

The more the Long Blade Ghost talked, the weaker his voice got. He couldn't even process how one man's Yang Energy was able to vaporize them—how was that possible?

Wen Yan's Yang Energy erupted, shrouding the entire ruined ship. Ghosts covered by his energy were wiped out one after another.
