Andre Colin glanced at him sideways, his lips slightly raised, revealing a rare mischievous charm. "My face is full of sincerity, not like yours, which seems ill-intentioned."
"Virtue!" Kris Cooper returned a disdainful look. "I’m being myself, unlike a certain director, who appears gentlemanly but harbors a big bad wolf inside! Seriously, how confident are you?"
"Seventy percent."
"That’s so low."
"That’s a conservative estimate, seventy percent is already quite high." Andre Colin looked at him earnestly. "Of course, this isn’t the best thod. If possible, it’s best for her to find the mories herself, that’s the safest way."
"What do you an?"
"Stimulate her mories by recalling so events or scenes that you all went through before which left a strong impression on her. Vera ntioned to that she experiences so hallucinations. Based on my analysis, those should be mories deeply buried in her mind. If you can help her break through that barrier, she can find herself."
Kris Cooper nodded solemnly.
"I’ll try!"
Andre Colin glanced at the worried face of the man next to him and raised a hand to embrace his shoulder. "You seem so pitiful, let tell you so good news."
Kris Cooper turned his face and looked at him.
"She likes you," Andre Colin said.
Kris Cooper rolled his eyes. "Of course, she likes !"
Andre Colin chuckled lightly, but Kris Cooper frowned again. "Is her head okay?"
"Just minor subcutaneous edema, no special treatnt needed." Andre Colin checked his watch. "It’s getting late. Shall we have dinner together?"
"No ti!" Without the desire to chat with Andre Colin further, Kris Cooper turned around and walked towards the door. "I’m taking her to a party."
Andre Colin shrugged and followed him back to the consulting room, where Kris Cooper approached Vera Wave.
"Let’s go, we’ll head back first."
"Bye, Brother Andre!" Vera Wave smiled and bid farewell to Andre Colin. As soon as the words left her lips, Kris Cooper tightly gripped her arms. "Kris Cooper, what are you doing!"
"What do you an Brother Andre, how lacking in brothers are you?" Kris Cooper led her out of the consulting room. "From now on call him Andre Colin!"
"You’re allowed to call people little sisters but I can’t have a brother?"
"When did I have a sister?"
...
Andre Colin stood at the consulting room door, watching them walk away with a relieved smile. These two were still the sa as they were six years ago.
Waiting patiently for six years, he finally found the person he had long yearned for, Andre Colin was truly happy for his good friend.
In the elevator.
Vera Wave shook off Kris Cooper’s hand and let out a soft huff.
"You’re allowed as governor to play with fire, but the commoners can’t even light a lamp. Doesn’t Ria Chapman also call you Brother Kris?"
"So..." Kris Cooper stepped forward, getting closer to her. "Are you jealous?"
Vera Wave turned her small face away, refusing to look at him.
"I’m just a passerby, what is there to be jealous of!"
Above her, the man’s breath moved closer, and there was a gentle touch on her forehead. In the next instant, she was softly embraced by him.
"It’s all my fault this ti. Let’s go, I’ll take you to seek justice right now."
The elevator doors opened, Kris Cooper led her out, settled her into the car, and imdiately began driving.
"Where are we going?"
"Ria Chapman’s birthday party!" Kris Cooper spoke with a tone carrying a chill. "You can retaliate however you want."
Vera Wave hesitated briefly, then shook her head.
"No need."
"Rest assured, with around, no one will dare lay a finger on you!"
