He had a business trip to Europe tomorrow for a major gaming event. Glimr was the main organizer, and since he was the ga’s reigning world champion, his attendance was mandatory. Seeing the typically domineering man pleading so gently, Vera, who usually responded better to soft tactics than hard ones, softened. She walked back and sat down opposite him. Looking at Kris Cooper across from her, she spoke softly, "But, let be clear first. If I lose again, I’ll only use my card. I won’t undress."
"Alright." Kris nudged his chin toward the deck of cards on the table. "Deal."
As she took the cards from the table, his gaze fell on her chest.
Well, she does look really good without a bra, doesn’t she?
Vera looked at her cards.
"Five hundred."
Kris revealed his hand without even looking at it.
This ti, he finally got his wish—he lost.
Vera’s face lit up with a delighted smile, and she imdiately stretched out her hand to snatch the five hundred dollars she’d won.
"Again, again!"
In the following rounds, she won every ga as if she were cheating. Before long, all the cash in Kris Cooper’s wallet was piled in front of her.
Slamming a three-of-a-kind onto the table, Vera, with a triumphant expression, extended her hand.
"I won again! Honey... one thousand dollars, hand it over!"
Kris Cooper set down his cards, stood up, and walked over to her. He sat down on the coffee table, reached out, and took her chin in his hand.
Vera looked up from the small sofa. "What are you... doing?"
The man leaned close to her face and murmured, "I’m out of cash. I’ll use my card!"
He’s going to pay with his body too? But hadn’t they agreed only *she* could offer that kind of paynt?
"Then I don’t want..."
Just as Vera was about to say she didn’t want the thousand dollars, his lips descended on hers.
His lips brushed lightly against hers. Though it was just a feather-light touch, it sent her heart racing. Before she could even process it, he was kissing her deeply.
His hand then moved down, his palm rely resting on her knee, yet it made every hair on her body stand on end.
As she felt his fingers slowly caress her skin, it was as if a fire had been lit inside her. Her whole body felt strangely empty, and she instinctively craved more of his touch, more closeness.
The sensation made her flush with shyness.
Ever since she t him, it felt as though she beca completely susceptible to his every touch, reacting instantly.
He pressed against her, sandwiching her between him and the back of the couch. The slightly coarse fabric of her dress rubbed against her bare chest, eliciting a peculiar sensation.
Feeling Kris’s hand grasping her dress, Vera’s last shred of reason returned.
"Don’t... don’t rip it. This is... my only new dress."
For nearly a year, she hadn’t purchased any new clothes and had been making do with her old ones.
It was only because she was preparing for their date that she’d gritted her teeth and bought this new dress.
The man responded softly and with a sweep of his hand, flipped up the hem of her dress.
"From now on, you’re only allowed to buy dresses."
They’re much easier to get off than pants.
Vera was still trying to understand what he ant when he pressed down on her.
She let out a soft gasp, instinctively clinging to his arms.
Outside the window, the spring scenery was enchanting and gentle.
