"Alright then!" Kris Cooper said with a smirk, lifting her chin with his hand. "I want you!"
"TEE HEE!"
Vera Wave bared her teeth at him, quickly grabbed the ID card from the window, and turned to run.
She had barely taken a step when she abruptly felt her arm tighten. The man lifted her off the ground, her feet kicking out but unable to gain traction.
The next second, her butt made contact with the hard edge of a desk.
Kris Cooper lifted his hand to snatch the ID card from her, but Vera reacted quickly. With one hand, she grabbed her shirt collar, and with the other, she slid the ID into her bra.
Kris Cooper glanced at her shirt, now bulging out.
"Hand it over."
"Nope!"
She put on a smug face and puffed out her chest.
HMPH!
She didn’t believe he’d have the guts to reach for it! She had to use the ID card to find another job. She couldn’t just give it to him.
Kris Cooper naturally lowered his gaze to her chest. She was wearing a round-neck shirt with a small spring suit jacket over it.
At this mont, the ID card was pushing against her shirt, creating a bulge at her neckline. Deep within the opening, he could clearly glimpse two patches of smooth, white skin.
Noticing his gaze, Vera looked down and hurriedly covered her chest with her hand.
"Don’t look!"
Kris Cooper tried hard not to focus on the enticing sight inside her shirt.
"Then give the money."
"I don’t have any."
"Well then..." Kris Cooper slowly moved closer to her. "It seems I will just have to take you!"
Vera began to slowly lean back, her arm resting on the desk bending more and more. The contract under her palm slipped, and she uncontrollably slid towards the printer on the desk.
"AH!"
Suddenly losing her balance, Vera instinctively scread.
Seeing her head about to hit the printer, Kris’s heart tightened, and without a second thought, he reached out to grab her shirt.
His large hand grasped her collar, and Vera’s head stopped just an inch from the printer’s pointed edge.
Both of them exhaled in relief.
Two seconds later, Vera yelled out again.
"Kris Cooper, you bastard! Get your damn hands off !"
Kris looked at his right hand. His large palm was clutching her base shirt, distorting its shape and pulling the round collar into a deep, slanted V. Inside, a pale yellow cotton bra was visible, enclosing an invitingly fair complexion.
With the ID card stuffed inside, her bra was pushed up.
Kris took a sharp breath.
Vera straightened up, shaking his hand off. Her face was flushed a deep red.
"You...you...you felt up too, so we’re even. Now pay up...the five thousand you owe !"
Kris was stunned for a mont before he caught on.
This girl, always unpredictable. Might as well continue teasing her, he thought.
"No can do."
Vera pulled at her clothes. "Why not?"
"I rember you felt up twice. So..." Kris cast a sideways glance at her chest. "I need to do the sa."
"No way!"
She imdiately raised her hand to cover her chest.
"You...you only have one, I have two. If you touch once, it’s like you’ve felt twice! Even though you only touched once, it’s equivalent to touching twice!"
That...sort of makes sense?!
Kris laughed. "Then what about the remaining $147,000? Where should I touch for that?"
Vera was both embarrassed and angry. "Are you addicted to touching now?"
Kris revealed a bright white smile. "Yes, addicted indeed!"
