Stepping back two steps, Kris Cooper lazily leaned back on the podium, casually tossing the microphone to the side.

Bang!

The microphone hit the ground with a dull thud, causing the speakers to tremble as well.

Everyone present, except for Kenton Maverick and Vera Wave, felt a jolt in their hearts.

Anyone who has dealt with Kris Cooper knows that when he smiles like this, it ans he’s at his most dangerous.

Her fingers trembled, and Kylo Sail nearly dropped the small handbag from her hand; gripping it, her fingertips trembled even more violently.

What to do?

If she really waits for the police to co, she’ll have no choice but to surrender.

Glancing sideways at the calm Mary, Kylo Sail bit her lip, clenched her hand, and suddenly stood up straight.

"President."

The entire room was silent, and although her voice was not loud, it was remarkably attention-grabbing.

In an instant, all eyes turned towards Kylo Sail, and Tommy Taylor, who had been about to make a call, also paused and turned his gaze towards her.

Kris Cooper lazily lifted his eyes and glanced at Kylo Sail.

"Speak."

Kylo Sail swallowed hard, raised her left hand, and pointed to Mary, who was her closest ally.

"It was her... she did it!"

Mary had been looking at Kylo Sail curiously, unsure of what she intended to do.

Seeing Kylo Sail raise her hand and point at her, Mary suddenly widened her eyes.

"Kylo Sail, what are you talking about, what did I do?"

Kylo Sail turned to look at Mary.

"Mary, I’m saying this for your own good. If the police co, you’ll go to jail. You should confess."

"No..." Mary frowned, "Confess what? I didn’t do anything!"

"Mary." Kylo Sail sighed, "I know you were standing up for , but what you did is really too much. I thought you were just talking, but I didn’t expect you were serious. This is our company’s most important project, sabotaging Vera isn’t just undermining the company, you know. Even if Director Lin gets fired, the director position won’t go to , and you won’t beco the Manager!"

On the surface, these words seed to be a regretful persuasion for Mary’s sake.

In fact, they shifted all the responsibility onto Mary, even pointing out that her motive was to use the opportunity to oust Kate Palr and push Kylo Sail onto the stage so she could take the Manager position.

The situation had reached such a state that if the truth ca out, the consequences would be unimaginable, and Kylo Sail didn’t want to ruin her future.

To protect herself, Kylo Sail unceremoniously threw all the bla onto Mary.

Mary opened her mouth, staring at Kylo Sail for a long ti before she snapped back to reality.

Always seeing Kylo Sail as a good friend, but now being blad falsely, Mary couldn’t tolerate Kylo Sail’s slander.

"Kylo Sail, you’re spewing nonsense. When did I ever sabotage Vera? When did I ever undermine the company, or target Director Lin? What nonsense are you talking about! And I still considered you a friend..."

"Enough!"

Kris Cooper called out harshly.

The two of them imdiately fell silent and stepped out of their seats, coming before him.

Looking at Mary’s angry face, Kris Cooper focused his gaze on Kylo Sail.

"You say she did it? Do you have evidence?"

Mary, hearing this, imdiately wanted to defend herself, "Presi..."
