Of course, she wasn’t really crying. She had learned a trick while filming: pinch the bridge of your nose, blink forcefully, and soon your eyes would be brimming with tears. That’s exactly what she’d done just now.
Realizing he’d been tricked, Kris Cooper gritted his teeth and turned to leave again.
The young woman quickly reached out and hugged him.
"You little liar, let go!"
He gripped her wrist, trying to pull her away, but he didn’t dare use too much force. Naturally, he couldn’t break free.
"Honey, you’re being such a tsundere!"
She tilted her head up, a mischievous smile playing on her lips.
Looking at the unruly girl before him, Kris Cooper felt a mix of anger and helplessness. The sight of her defiantly upturned lips infuriated him.
He was about to explode with anger, yet she could still smile?!
He reached out, snaked an arm around her waist, bent down, and crushed his lips against hers.
He thrust his tongue into her mouth, kissing her forcefully, passionately, until her own tongue grew numb and her lips swelled, flushed crimson. Then, not satisfied, he bit them twice.
"Ouch!"
she whimpered.
He ignored her, nipping at her neck a few more tis, though the pressure of his bites was much gentler now.
After tornting her for a good while, he finally seed to have vented his frustration, raising his face, panting.
Vera Wave licked her tender lips.
"Now, are you still angry?"
"Not by a long shot!"
"Then..." She tilted her face up. "Are you going to hit a couple more tis?"
"You think I wouldn’t dare?"
"Then do it!"
The girl flashed another mischievous grin.
Gritting his teeth, he raised his right hand. It shot up quickly but descended slowly. He looked at her small face, her delicate shoulders, her slender arms and legs... There really wasn’t a single spot he could bring himself to hit.
With his large hands, one slap would definitely leave a bright red mark.
Seeing her triumphant smirk, he pulled her into his embrace, and his hand finally landed, delivering a light, stinging swat to her bottom.
Vera Wave froze in his arms, utterly stunned.
She’d never been spanked in her entire life. Of course, it didn’t actually hurt, but for her, it was a strange, electrifying sensation, making her little heart pound erratically.
Seeing her lack of reaction, Kris Cooper worried he had actually hurt her.
"Did that hurt?"
He imdiately reached out to soothe the spot, gently rubbing her bottom.
"You... S-stop that!"
Her voice was soft, laced with a noticeable shyness. She scrambled to push his hand away.
Hearing the unusual tremor in her voice, Kris Cooper lowered his gaze to study her expression. He saw an unnatural blush coloring her cheeks and a watery sheen in her eyes.
"Oh, this won’t do at all. I’m not nearly done with you yet!"
She imdiately started squirming in his arms.
"No! Don’t!"
The girl wriggled coquettishly, her voice soft and laden with embarrassnt. He adored her like this; it always stirred sothing within him.
Noticing employees leaving work and heading towards the parking lot, he swiftly scooped her up, half-hoisting her onto his shoulder. He strode to the car, maneuvered her into the passenger seat, and buckled her in.
"I’ll deal with you properly when we get ho!"
He murmured, closed her door, then got into the driver’s seat and started the engine. The car pulled away smoothly.
The car left the Ashton Building, and soon they arrived at his nearby apartnt. Kris Cooper parked, got out, and pulled the girl from the vehicle. Before Vera Wave could find her footing, he had already swept her up again, half-carrying, half-hoisting her.
"You... Let go!"
Kris Cooper ignored her protests, simply carrying her into the elevator.
