Unable to differentiate between the nas of the siblings, Vera always mistook the brother Evan for Barry, so she gave him the nickna Little Stone for easy rembrance. Barry’s nickna was originally Larry, so Vera called her Little Bug.
Later, she found out she was wrong; Little Bug and Little Stone were actually the sa person.
At the ti, this mix-up was a well-known joke within their group of friends.
"Anyway, both Larry and Little Stone are you!" Vera blinked her eyes, her gaze shifting over to the girl holding an e-book, "Who is this? Why can’t I rember?"
The girl appeared quite young, likely younger than Vera.
Wearing a white T-shirt, gray skirt, flat canvas shoes, her long hair was tied back with a rubber band, and she wore glasses on her face. Her tall and slim figure carried a large backpack over one shoulder.
The girl had been reading an e-book, but she put it away and lifted her face to smile at Vera.
"That’s because you’ve never t ."
"Oh!" Vera dashed down the steps, rushing to the girl’s side, "I know now, you are Little Comb!"
At hearing this nickna, everyone burst into laughter.
"Sorry..." Vera quickly apologized, "I an, Debbie!"
Back then, Vera showed great intelligence in her studies but was a bit scatterbrained in life. Plus, Kris Cooper had so many friends that she couldn’t rember all their nas right away, so she secretly gave them nicknas to help her mory.
The girl called "Little Comb" remained calm, putting her e-book in the bag, pulling out a prepared gift, and delivering it to Vera, speaking soothingly.
"It’s okay, I don’t mind. Brother Kris, Vera... congratulations."
"Thank you!" Vera accepted the gift with both hands, gratefully glancing around the crowd, "Thank you, thank you, everyone!"
Barry smiled as he handed over his gift too, "Why be polite to us? We promised back then to witness this mont, and we’re keeping our word."
Years ago, these kids were all studying in the area, albeit in different departnts.
Vera didn’t have many friends, so Kris Cooper introduced her to his friends.
These guys had played together since childhood and quickly beca close to Vera, joking that when the two of them got married, they would definitely be there to register with them.

"Yay!" Barry cheered, "I’ve never been drunk before, definitely trying it tonight."
Compared to the younger Debbie, Barry seed more like a child.
Everyone split up to get into cars, and Barry pulled Debbie along to sit in Kris Cooper and Vera’s car, squeezing into the backseat with her, curiously asking Vera about her current situation and where she had been the past few years, full of concern in his voice.
"When you disappeared, I was so upset, thought I’d never see you again!"
As he spoke emotionally, Barry’s voice choked up.
