Holding Kris Cooper’s arm as they walked out of the office, Vera Wave was holding the marriage certificate and still sighing.
"I didn’t expect getting married to be so simple!"
Glancing at the red booklet in her hand, Kris Cooper stretched out his hand and snatched her marriage certificate away.
"What are you doing?!"
The man stuffed both marriage certificates into his pocket.
"From now on, I’ll be in charge of keeping all these docunts."
Vera let out a light laugh, "Why, are you afraid I’ll run off with the money?"
The man turned his head, his amber eyes deeply t hers.
"With all the docunts in my hands, you won’t be able to run away again!"
She had been gone for six years, and his heart had been empty for six years. This ti, he had finally regained what was lost, and he didn’t want to experience such heartache again.
Her smile froze, her eyes filled with heartache, and Vera wrapped her arms around his neck.
"Relax, I’m clinging onto you, this crooked tree, for the rest of my life."
Wrapping his arms around her, the man turned his head and lightly bit her neck.
"What crooked tree? It’s obviously a graceful tree in the wind!"
She giggled, wrapped her hands tightly around his neck, and hung herself completely on him.
Indeed, how could her Kris be a crooked tree?
When they first t, he was like an elegant young man, a tree that stands tall in the wind, enough to shelter her from the storm.
Filled with emotion she didn’t know how to express, she moved to his ear and shouted loudly.
"Kris Cooper, I love you, I love you so much."

Though he complained, his arms held her even tighter.
"I just want the whole world to know." Vera straightened up from his shoulder, staring into those amber eyes that once haunted her, "Kris Cooper belongs to Vera, always will."
He smiled.
"That’s right."
Bending down, she raised her hand to cup his face, then kissed him deeply.
In the distance, journalists had long captured this scene on cara.
None of this escaped Kris Cooper’s notice, and this ti, he didn’t stop them.
