Kris Cooper, who had been languidly leaning against the back of his chair and seemingly lost in thought, straightened up and placed his arms on the long table. "Barker has a wealth of experience in bridge design, and I have confidence in your company’s capabilities. However... there are so issues I must bring to your attention. The soil around the Jade River is sandy, and in terms of load-bearing capacity, I hope you’ll give this more thought."
This suggestion hit the nail on the head.
Barker’s design team had abundant experience in this area, yet they had overlooked the most basic point.
Yet it was precisely this point that was the most fatal.
Upon hearing this, both Nathan Leafcastle and Sally felt their hearts tighten.
This Kris Cooper was truly remarkable. Neither of them had thought of this issue, and it seed their howork was indeed insufficient.
"Mr. Cooper is right," Sally took a deep breath. "Our work has fallen short. I will arrange for them to go on-site for field surveys imdiately, and then expedite andnts."
Vera Wave smiled and said, "There’s no need for field surveys because we’ve already conducted all the necessary ones. Whatever data you need, we can provide."
"That’s great," Sally nodded. "We’ll correct the plan imdiately after the eting ends."
Kris Cooper stood up, "Then... see you tomorrow afternoon."
With the tender release imminent, everything needed to be expedited; he had no intention of inviting everyone to dinner.
Nathan Leafcastle and Sally naturally understood this and stood up from their seats.
While both teams’ staff exchanged information and insights, Sally approached Vera.
"Vera, your planning proposal is fantastic. Collaborating with you and Mr. Cooper is a great honor for and the entire Barker team."
Her tone was calm and sincere, and her eyes, filled with admiration, t Vera’s.
"Sister Sally, you’re too kind. Actually..." Vera slightly curved her lips, "I’ve always hoped to collaborate with Barker one day, and today that wish has co true."
Nathan Leafcastle stood to one side, listening to her voice, yet his heart was a mix of emotions.
By this ti, the staff from both sides had completed the alignnt of information and data. The staff walked over to report to Sally, who then took the initiative to bid farewell.
Ti was pressing, and there was no ti for chatting now.
"We have another internal eting, so we won’t see you out." Kris Cooper raised his arm and wrapped it around Vera’s waist. "Tommy Taylor, please send everyone off."
Tommy Taylor personally escorted the group to the elevator. As they took the elevator down, the staff continued their discussion.
"This Mr. Cooper is truly formidable. Luckily, he reminded us; otherwise, we would have made a serious error!"
"Indeed, a mistake by an inch leads to a loss by a thousand miles. This issue is no trivial matter."

"Leafcastle?" Sally took his arm, seeing his absence in action, and she couldn’t help looking toward him. "What’s the matter?"
"Oh!" Nathan Leafcastle snapped back to reality. "I was just thinking about the tender eting."
