**Chapter 108: Self-Created Potion**

Hearing this voice, Amy and Victor looked up in surprise at Jie Ming, who had been silent since entering.

“Oh?” Viola raised an eyebrow, her tone more indulgent than genuinely intrigued, as if humoring a child. “You’re saying you have sothing that could interest ? I’m curious, but… are you sure you know what level of wizard I am?”

“About that… Senior Viola, if I may be so bold,” Jie Ming began, his voice calm. “The fifth-level artifact you sold to Amy, though a powerful item inscribed with Soul Search wizardry, demands exceptional ntal energy control from its user.”

Most attack and defense artifacts release wizardry at a level matching the artifact itself, with little room for manipulation post-release and minimal variation in effect.

But certain specialized wizardry doesn’t work that way.

For instance, most logistics and soul-based wizardry require continuous control from the caster to be effective. Even with a high-level artifact, the wizardry’s potency varies depending on the user’s level.

He paused, eting Viola’s silver-gray eyes directly. “Take Amy’s fifth-level artifact with Soul Search. Though the wizardry is fifth-level, an ordinary apprentice or first-level wizard’s control can only produce effects equivalent to a third-level wizard casting a third-level Soul Search.”

“But at that level, the effect is already sufficient. Considering the timing of your sale and the artifact’s unique nature… I deduce, Senior, that you sold it to gather resources for advancing to third-level wizard.”

Viola’s silver-gray eyes narrowed slightly, a flicker of surprise crossing her face.

She hadn’t expected this newly promoted formal wizard to accurately guess her level.

She gave a soft laugh, tinged with nostalgia. “You’re right, little one. I did sell it to gather resources for my third-level advancent. Becoming a third-level wizard ans mastering stronger law forces—a true qualitative leap. Compared to that, an auxiliary fifth-level artifact, though valuable, is just an external tool.”

Her words confird Jie Ming’s deduction.

“So, little one,” Viola’s tone shifted, now carrying a spark of interest, “since you know this much, you should also understand that ordinary materials and points hardly tempt a third-level wizard like .”

“And unfortunately, I’ve made a fortune in the Elosia plane. I’m not short on points for now.”

Her gaze settled on Jie Ming again, clearly intrigued by this apprentice.

Jie Ming nodded, unfazed by her words. He had co prepared.

Under Amy and Victor’s tense gazes, he pulled a translucent test tube from his robes.

The liquid inside shimred with an odd, slightly purple hue, laced with an indescribable flowing light, as if it held so mysterious vitality.

“Senior Viola,” Jie Ming said steadily, a faint confidence in his voice, “this is my exclusive potion, not part of any known academy formula.”

“Oh? Interesting…”

Viola’s eyes flickered as she took the tube, bringing it to her nose for a sniff.

In her long life, she had encountered countless potions.

She assud a newly promoted wizard’s potion wouldn’t be anything remarkable, but to her surprise, she detected no useful scent from the tube.

Curiosity sparked in her eyes. She opened the stopper and sniffed again from a slight distance.

Still nothing, as if it were re water.

No!

With her level of perception, she could discern distinct traits even in water.

The complete absence of scent or energy leakage indicated a rare “unitary” potion.

Unitary potions, once crafted, automatically form distinct “units,” requiring the entire dose to be consud for effect.

While this made them less convenient than divisible potions, for potion masters, this was a coveted trait.

It signified the potion had reached a harmonious state, typically seen only in high-level potions.

Without hesitation, Viola downed the potion.

As it slid down her throat, her body showed no change, but her silver-gray eyes flared brightly.

A cool sensation swept through her ntal sea.

Then, that coolness transford into an intangible force, like a spring breeze over the earth, expanding her ntal sea ever so slightly!

Though the increase was negligible for a third-level wizard, what shocked her more was the subtle purification of her soul!

These minor enhancents sharpened her perception of the world’s laws and slightly boosted her elental affinity.

For the first ti, true shock crossed Viola’s face.

She stood abruptly, her silver-gray eyes filled with disbelief. “This… what is this potion? You’re sure you created it yourself?”

“Yes, Senior,” Jie Ming replied calmly. “Its formula was entirely developed by , step by step.”

Viola took a deep breath, calming her astonishnt.

She scrutinized Jie Ming, her gaze probing.

She knew a potion that could enhance the ntal sea and aptitude, no matter how slightly, could cause a sensation!

For wizards chasing higher realms, even the smallest hope was irresistible.

While aptitude limits ceased to bind wizards after reaching formal status, better aptitude still aided in comprehending laws, channeling mana more smoothly, and increasing the odds of reaching higher levels!

But such potions demanded exceptionally high aptitude—only the top-tier ten-grade talents could benefit, and even then, only up to the fifth level.

Viola sat back down, her eyes burning as she stared at Jie Ming. “Alright, I’ll take this deal. What do you want?”

Seeing her reaction, Jie Ming’s lips curved slightly.

He knew his bargaining chip could sway any wizard.

He hadn’t lied—the potion was his creation, born from combining insights from alchemy with wizardry’s potion theory.

Its core ingredient was the “Purple Qi of the East,” which only he, as a cultivator, could absorb at dawn.

Revealing such a creation was a calculated move.

After years of observation, Jie Ming understood the wizard civilization’s ways.

Their relentless pursuit of knowledge and the pride of their advanced civilization bred another trait: an extre reverence for genius.

Simply put, once soone was deed a genius, any achievent could be attributed to “they’re just that talented”!

“Though the native geniuses of the wizard civilization are absurdly impressive…” Jie Ming mused inwardly.

His current display was notable within Noren Workshop but rely “average” in the broader Star Ring Federation, let alone the entire wizard civilization.

“I need the latest intelligence on the Elosia plane’s native faction distributions and detailed bounty information,” Jie Ming said. “Additionally, I hope you can help us three establish an ‘intelligence network’ with other wizard teams in the camp. We can offer what assistance we can in exchange for needed resources or intelligence.”

Viola’s lips curved, her silver-gray eyes glinting slyly. “No problem. I’ll share what I know and what I can get from other channels. Building an ‘intelligence network’ isn’t hard either. As for the price…”

She shook the empty potion tube. “Let’s trade with these potions!”

“They’re quite difficult to craft,” Jie Ming said, face impassive, heart steady.

“Of course, I understand,” Viola replied, licking her lips and leaning forward slightly.

“We’ll discuss the value of specific intelligence later. First, let’s talk about introduction fees for other wizards. Not everyone’s as easygoing as I am…”

“How many?”

“I’ll act as your interdiary to introduce other wizards. One hundred potions per person.”

At Viola’s exorbitant demand, Jie Ming gave a cold laugh. “Hah! Impossible. Five potions per person, and you ensure you do your utmost to make it happen!”

“No way! Per person…”

After so haggling, they settled on twenty-five potions per introduction, with Viola guaranteeing her full effort to facilitate the deals.

As Jie Ming and his group left satisfied, Viola smirked, imdiately contacting a few familiar wizards via her communicator.

“Mok… yes, I’ll be the interdiary… Paynt? Hmm… how about two potions?”
