“What’s going on? This isn’t right!”

“What in the world is happening?!”

Staring at the massive spatial rift stretching across the sky, every seasoned wizard present, including Jie Ming, wore expressions of utter bewildernt.

Sothing was wrong!

Terribly wrong!

This chain of events defied the standard flow of planar wars they knew so well!

By convention, while crossing the chaotic void aboard the “ship-plane,” the commander of this planar war, the seventh-rank Great Wizard Dionysius Spencer, would typically brief them with basic information about the target plane.

Even if, due to limited intelligence-gathering thods, such information was often brief.

For planar wars, fraught with imnse casualties, this information was still critical!

At the very least, it gave wizards a basic preparation when facing completely unknown enemies, preventing them from being caught off guard.

But now… what was this situation?

Why had Dionysius Spencer provided no aningful information and instead abruptly opened the spatial passage to the target plane?

And there was an even stranger issue: why was the other plane so quiet?!

The foundational structure of the Wizard World differed in many ways from the purely material world of Jie Ming’s past life, including certain unique phenona.

In the scientific understanding of his previous world, “space” and “ti” were concepts that “didn’t exist.”

Fundantally, these were constructs created by intelligent beings to asure the motion of fundantal particles in the universe—re “trics” with no concrete, corresponding entities.

But in the Wizard World, these two were real!

Different planes might have varying elental structures constituting these fundantal entities.

Generally, all planes used “water elents” and their variants as the primary material for “ti,” while “space” was constructed mainly from “wind elents” and their variants.

Different foundational materials naturally led to subtle differences in ti and space between planes.

Especially with “ti,” a plane’s internal ti flow operated at a unique speed if its internal information remained undetected by outsiders.

Fortunately, the Wizard World’s “ti” adhered to the “Observer Uniformity Principle.”

Simply put, no matter a plane’s ti flow before being opened, once connected to another world and “observed” by outsiders, its ti flow forcibly synchronized with the observer’s world.

This unique temporal principle allowed the wizard civilization to conquer countless planes without ever facing chaos due to “ti flow disparities.”

Conversely, if a plane’s internal ti was completely severed from external observers, its ti flow would beco unpredictable again.

Typically, when another plane “approached” a sealed plane, the attraction between various elents would cause the sealed plane’s ti flow to accelerate under this influence!

Thus, under normal circumstances, a spatial rift that took re breaths to connect in the wizards’ eyes could manifest as months or even years of ominous cosmic phenona in the invaded plane!

For this reason, once the spatial passage fully connected, wizards invariably faced ferocious assaults from the plane’s natives, who had long been waiting.

But now…

The other side, shrouded in white mist, was eerily silent!

The wizards cautiously waited, but no energy fluctuations or signs of biological attacks ca from the other plane.

This excessive quiet left the wizards, who had been eagerly anticipating their first bloodbath, utterly baffled.

Even the ferocious bio-beasts beside them, prid for slaughter, showed confused expressions due to their limited intelligence.

So cautious wizards began deploying small, expendable scout units from their storage spaces to investigate the strange white mist across the rift, checking for unknown toxins or pathogens.

At that mont, two brief streams of information, accompanied by a ntal pulse, were transmitted to everyone’s terminals.

It was the long-overdue intelligence from the seventh-rank Great Wizard Dionysius Spencer:

[1. Preliminary scans indicate the highest observable lifeform in this world does not exceed fifth rank.]

[2. No intelligent life has been detected in this region.]

Upon reading these brief lines, Jie Ming suddenly sensed a subtle yet terrifying shift in the atmosphere around him!

He turned and saw the wizards around him, after a mont of stunned silence, break into greedy, ecstatic, and bloodthirsty grins, their faces alight with cruel excitent.

An indescribable wave of pure killing intent radiated wildly from the wizards present!

It was the brutal aura of apex predators discovering a defenseless, fertile hunting ground, knowing they could plunder at will.

This terrifying, palpable shift in montum even caused the already bloodthirsty bio-beasts around them to whimper in fearful submission under its pressure!

With a faint, untraceable sound, the over one hundred thousand wizards on the “ship-plane,” unable to contain their inner desires, suddenly rose in unison!

Like dark teors streaking across the sky, they soared with piercing whistles and dazzling trails, rushing madly toward the massive rift!

Most of the bio-beasts, ant to be the vanguard and cannon fodder of planar wars, were left behind, except for a few with flight capabilities that followed their masters.

Jie Ming, after a brief mont of shock, reacted swiftly.

Without hesitation, he accelerated, joining the swarm of wizards like a plague of locusts, charging toward the spatial rift!

His five Black Giants imdiately responded to his command.

Their feet erupted with surging flas, their massive forms like five dark missiles, closely following Jie Ming’s charge!

The mont he passed through the spatial rift into the other plane, Jie Ming sensed sothing wrong!

Spatial rifts typically opened in areas where the energy barriers between planes were thinnest.

Usually, this ant the stratosphere or higher altitudes of both planes.

When passing through, wizards often felt a distinct shift in gravitational direction.

But… this world was different!

As Jie Ming rushed in, the gravitational pull from the “ship-plane” vanished entirely.

Yet, he felt no downward force in this world!

He glanced at the other wizards who had rushed in alongside him.

Like him, their habitual flying postures beca slightly distorted, looking sowhat disheveled.

Jie Ming pondered for a mont and made a bold decision—he dispelled the “Flight Technique” sustaining his body.

To his surprise, his body remained in its original position, floating quietly in the white, misty air!

Now, it was certain…

A storm of realization surged in Jie Ming’s mind.

This plane… had no gravity!

In the Wizard World, one of the fundantal laws was that “mass” generated “gravity.”

“Gravity,” or rather “attraction,” stemd ultimately from “matter.” ɴᴇᴡ ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ ᴄʜᴀᴘᴛᴇʀs ᴀʀᴇ ᴘᴜʙʟɪsʜᴇᴅ ᴏɴ novel·fire

And in the Wizard World, most “matter” was composed of the solid, heavy “earth elent.”

This plane had no gravity.

This simple fact led Jie Ming to a staggering conclusion in an instant—it ant the “earth elent” in this plane was incredibly scarce!

The visible white mist perating the heavens and earth might use “earth elent” particles as condensation cores.

But the overall proportion of the earth elent was likely so low it was outrageous!

This implied that in this world, all witchcraft related to “matter manipulation” and most “force field” spells would be significantly weakened!

“On the flip side, this world’s fire elent reserves are likely substantial. A plane’s foundation must rely on either matter or energy, so energy-based witchcraft should perform better…”

Jie Ming began rapidly analyzing the situation in his mind.

anwhile, a glow of wind, fire, and water elents flickered, combined, and dissipated in his palm.

Through this simple energy model construction, he swiftly verified his hypotheses.

“As expected…”

Multiple tests confird his guesses.

In this world, constructing force field spell models was exceptionally difficult and unstable.

Such a unique world must give rise to equally rare biological types and ecological characteristics!
