**Chapter 720: The Resurgent Dragon**
As ti passed, the crust of the entire plane throbbed with increasing intensity.
Even the ordinary dragonn huddled and trembling on the floating cities could sense that sothing was rapidly changing. Seeing this, Wizard Broadleaf raised both hands.
His law-solidified domain instantly unfolded at full power. Amber-colored radiance instantly covered the entire visible void.
At the sa ti, on the surface of the floating cities suspended above the red-light ocean over the Dragonman Plane, silver teleportation array lights lit up simultaneously. These were plane-level teleportation arrays pre-buried deep within the foundations of every settlent, now uniformly activated by Wizard Broadleaf.
In the next instant, several hundred floating cities vanished from the Dragonman Plane amid the dragonn’s cries of alarm and terror, swallowed one after another by silver teleportation light.
“Let’s go. We’ll wait outside the plane.”
Wizard Broadleaf tore open the plane barrier with his law-solidified domain and shot through the rift first, entering the endless chaotic void. The dozen or so wizards followed closely behind.
Jie Ming’s Great Void Step traced a lone arc through the void as he steadily followed at the rear of the group.
Once in the endless chaotic void, the group of wizards followed Wizard Broadleaf to a relatively distant position before stopping.
Looking back at the Dragonman Plane from the endless chaotic void, the sight was even more shocking than when viewed from high altitude.
Outside the plane barrier, the layer of red light enveloping the entire planet was now seeping outward from within, dyeing the whole plane into a dark red sphere. At the plane’s core, the pulsing continued.
With every throb, the golden plane barrier shook violently, as if sothing inside were continuously slamming against the world’s outer shell.
Suddenly sensing a change, Jie Ming decisively activated his True-False Void-Piercing Pupil.
Deep within his pupils, the pale silver star vortex spun at high speed. The world in his vision began to peel away layer by layer.
The energy structure of the plane barrier.
The frequency spectrum of the red light’s diffusion.
The pulsing trajectory of the “heart” at the planet’s core.
All information was converted into visualized layers spread across his field of view.
Then he saw it.
At the deepest part of the Dragonman Plane, a massive Reflection Dinsion channel was opening.
It was a super-giant channel large enough to cover the cross-section of an entire star!
The pressure differential between the two dinsions was strong enough to instantly erase all matter on the entire plane, leaving not a single trace. Yet the Dragonman Plane was not erased.
The violent penetrating force of the Reflection Dinsion channel spread outward from the plane’s core like a giant hand forcibly peeling away the planet’s thick surface layers of rock and soil one after another, then grinding them into nothingness.
Soil vanished, oceans evaporated, and mountain ranges peeled off in entire sheets like orange rind.
Then, beneath the stripped-away crust, sothing that should not exist inside any plane was revealed.
It was a body so enormous it could not be asured by ordinary units!
It was nearly as vast as a star.
The outermost scales were a deep, dark gold, remaining completely intact even under the Reflection Dinsion channel’s pressure capable of erasing all matter. The patterns on the scales were not carved but naturally ford law textures. Each line represented the power of a law. Its dragon wings were tightly wrapped around both sides of its torso. Its massive dragon head was buried against its chest, eyes closed, yet dark golden light faintly shone from beneath its eyelids. The penetrating force of the Reflection Dinsion channel continued to scour its body.
The dinsional pressure strong enough to erase seventh-level black giants rely caused the luster on the scales to ripple slightly when it struck this dragon body, leaving not a trace of real damage.
But at that mont, through his True-False Void-Piercing Pupil, Jie Ming captured a phenonon that made his pupils contract sharply.
While the Reflection Dinsion channel scoured the dragon body, sothing was being absorbed by the dragon along the channel in a dark manner.
It was neither energy nor matter—such things did not exist within the Reflection Dinsion.
It was drawn out from the depths of the Reflection Dinsion, flowing upstream along the channel, and finally rging into the center of the dragon’s brow.
Imdiately afterward, the dragon’s aura began to surge explosively.
ROAR!!!
Jie Ming jerked his head up. The silver star vortex in his True-False Void-Piercing Pupil spun madly, recording every change in the law textures across the dragon body.
His brain operated at unprecedented speed, rapidly connecting all the clues and understanding the general events that had occurred on this plane.
Before its mishap, this dragon’s cultivation had likely been at peak eighth level—a powerful existence capable of advancing toward ninth level.
Ninth-level beings had two most obvious characteristics.
The first was infinite power.
The second was thought manifestation—making wishes reality.
So-called infinite power did not simply an “very strong,” but truly creating sothing from nothing and providing endless energy output at will. Thought manifestation ant the will directly altering reality.
Although this dragon’s aura had surpassed the eighth-level boundary after retrieving the unknown entity from the Reflection Dinsion, it had clearly not yet crossed the true threshold of ninth level.
At the very least, the low dragon roar that had just penetrated everyone’s consciousness had affected the law level rather than directly forcing all the wizards to submit to its will. Therefore, its original goal should have been to first master the “thought manifestation” characteristic.
For an ability like thought manifestation, people’s first reaction would naturally associate it with the mind.
And coincidentally, the Reflection Dinsion reflected ntal activity.
The answer was now clear.
This dragon had sohow obtained information related to the Reflection Dinsion and determined that entering it could provide an opportunity to break through to ninth level. Thus, it had sent its consciousness… or rather its mind, or perhaps sothing even more fundantal, into the Reflection Dinsion.
But it had not been entirely reckless.
Before sending its consciousness into the Reflection Dinsion, it had left behind insurance.
All dragonblood creatures on the Dragonman Plane—from dragonn to dragon beasts, to the groups of dragon lizards and flying dragon beasts active in the Iron Spine Mountains—were part of that insurance.
Its creation of dragonblood creatures, and even the additional creation of intelligent beings like the dragonn, was a layout ant to maintain the array capable of recalling its own consciousness from the Reflection Dinsion.
The so-called ancient mories passed down through dragonn bloodlines were rely one part of the fuse, ant to provide the necessary energy and will anchor points to activate the array when required.
But the insurance had failed.
The dragonblood descendants it had personally created had not activated this insurance as preset.
Perhaps independent consciousness had later developed within the dragonn bloodline, leading to the common rebellion of created beings against their creator. Or perhaps it had simply been an accident.
In any case, the dragon’s consciousness had remained trapped in the Reflection Dinsion until now.
Now, this dragon had been awakened.
No.
It had been “recalled”!
