The battle erupted in the exact sa instant that Wizard Broadleaf’s sigh fell.

Dark golden light trails tore through the void. Wherever they passed, the spatial structure was shredded by conflicting laws, with web-like fissures spreading rapidly along both sides of the trajectory.
Elental turbulence in the void was forcibly parted. Even the distant Dragonman Plane barrier flickered violently from the aftershocks.
Wizard Broadleaf raised his right hand. The law light domain spread across the void before him instantly contracted and condensed into a massive amber-colored bulwark. Countless runes surfaced densely across the bulwark’s surface, each independently analyzing the frequency bands and phases of the oncoming dragon breath. The mont the dragon breath slamd into the bulwark, all its energy was systematically dismantled and diverted layer by layer.
After enduring an impact powerful enough to easily vaporize an entire star system, the bulwark rely sank inward by a single inch.
Suoyuan’s dragon breath continued to pour out, yet its colossal body had already begun charging under the cover of that breath.

When the light faded, he was no longer in human form but had beco a giant beast comparable in size to Suoyuan.
The giant beast’s silhouette resembled a bear, yet it was far more robust.
Its four limbs were like pillars, its shoulders and back covered in thick bone armor embedded with rapidly operating runes.

The shockwave exploded outward from the point of impact, blasting away the lingering elental bands left from the Dragonman Plane’s disintegration.

More than a dozen solidified law domain lights wove into a net in the void. Rings of light descended upon the dragon’s body from every direction.

When Wizard Broadleaf had asked earlier whether his true body could “endure dinsional disparity,” he had been asking if this shield was sturdy enough.
When Dean Avery had recomnded him to Wizard Broadleaf, it probably wasn’t just recomnding a wizard who could tank dinsion channels—it was conveniently recomnding a living, walking, spell-casting shield that could even collect technical data on the side.
