The first round of saturated suppression successfully halted the beast’s charge and heavily damaged its thick armored shell.
Jie Ming was highly satisfied with the result, marveling at the beast’s resilience: “Impressive! To take so many hits and only suffer superficial wounds—this physical strength is exceptional even among First-Rank creatures.”

With a low whine, the beast tucked its tail and turned to flee, but Jie Ming had already pointed a finger at it.
“Let’s try a First-Rank wizard-level energy bolt.”
The other gems on his bracer dimd and returned to their slots, leaving only one floating, its glow intensifying.
“Bang!”
With a sound effect from Jie Ming’s mouth, a single bolt shot out at blinding speed, piercing the beast in an instant and continuing into the distant jungle.
To an onlooker, the bolt seed to pass through the beast like a phantom, causing no apparent harm.
But from Jie Ming’s perspective, a massive hole, at least a ter wide, had appeared through the beast’s body, revealing the scenery beyond.
The wound didn’t bleed, as its edges had been carbonized into a charred shell.
The bolt’s extre speed carried terrifying heat, cauterizing the wound as it passed through.
“Not bad. The actual effect far surpasses what I tested in the training grounds,” Jie Ming said, thoroughly pleased with the bolt’s power.

A violent explosion echoed from kiloters away in the jungle, its shockwave traversing the dense forest, sending a gust of wind toward Jie Ming.
This was the bolt’s natural collapse upon reaching its range limit.

Even Jie Ming wasn’t sure of the full destructive potential if he unleashed all the attack-type runic artifacts stored in his internal space.

Jie Ming glanced at the spot where the other apprentice had been, now empty.

Jie Ming had refined them using treasure-forging techniques, allowing them to operate independently, stably scouting a hundred-kiloter radius and transmitting information through a unique connection.
Jie Ming casually dropped a Glimring Eye at his location, sensing its energy fluctuations and nodding with satisfaction.

With a grip, an older model of the Scouting Eye appeared in his hand.

The map detailed surrounding vegetation, terrain, subterranean energy flows, biological auras in the air, and even subtle fluctuations of magical and faith energies, all vividly clear.
After scanning the surroundings and confirming no imdiate threats, Jie Ming had no intention of lingering.
“Alright, ti to find those two.”
He pulled out a communication artifact, infused it with a trace of spiritual force, and waited.
Soon, the artifact glowed faintly, and Amy’s delighted voice ca through: “Jie Ming? Thank goodness, you’re okay!”
This trial was far less secure than previous ones, with the workshop providing no equipnt.
From what they’d seen, leaving this plane likely required finding the wizards’ stronghold.
Unlike the Listone Realm they’d experienced before, Elosia’s native creatures had terrifyingly high power ceilings. Even Jie Ming, confident as he was, didn’t dare act recklessly.
Thus, even he sought out “teammates.”
Before setting out, Jie Ming had agreed with Amy and Victor to contact each other imdiately upon entering the plane and explore as a team.
