**Chapter 99: The thod of Recording**

“Exactly,” Jie Ming nodded. “The northeast may not have the main wizard forces, but it’s close to a barren plain and mountain range with few intelligent beings. The complex terrain there is perfect for hiding and regrouping.”

As for taking a longer route, that wasn’t a big issue for wizards.

What followed went according to their plan.

During their breakout, Jie Ming and his team deliberately caused a commotion, swiftly crushing several beastman squads attempting to pursue them and leaving clear traces to create the illusion of heading south.

Then, they quickly dashed in the opposite direction, further muddying the waters.

But these were rely diversions.

After completely shaking off the pursuing beastn, they used flight techniques to move swiftly at low altitude toward the direction with the weakest military presence, as indicated by their intelligence, leaving the conflict zone behind.

Five days later, as a blood-red setting sun struggled to sink below the distant horizon, they finally reached Jie Ming’s chosen safe zone—a vast, relatively flat plain bordered by rugged mountains.

Signs of intelligent life were scarce here, and the air carried the scent of dust and earth.

“Finally… we made it,” Amy said, slumping onto the ground after using Alchemy Technique to create a wind-blocking rock wall. She let out a long sigh, her tired face showing a trace of relief. “It’s so quiet here.”

Victor also relaxed, leaning against a withered tree trunk and closing his eyes to regulate his breathing.

Jie Ming connected to the Faint Light Eyes he had previously set up using his Five Aggregates Rainbow Mirror. After confirming there were no issues, he sat down as well.

“Have you guys ever thought about sothing?” Amy suddenly spoke up after a brief rest, her voice tinged with doubt.

“We ca in with only our own supplies. The workshop didn’t provide any devices for recording our achievents, and the planar barrier has been forcibly sealed. So how exactly are they tracking what we do here and calculating contribution points?”

Victor opened his eyes, frowning in thought. “Yeah, I’ve been wondering about that too. Are we just supposed to report back ourselves? That’s too sloppy—how could they ensure fairness?”

Jie Ming didn’t respond imdiately, but his eyes flickered at their question.

Truthfully, he was curious about this too. He had initially thought that the mont they entered this plane, the wizards might have planted sothing on them.

But after days of inspection… there was nothing.

Suddenly, he looked up, his gaze fixed on the horizon.

At that mont, a deep, resonant hum echoed from the distant sky—not thunder, nor magical bombardnt, but a vibration as if the entire atmosphere was trembling in unison.

The vibration grew closer, enveloping the area where they stood.

The three stood up simultaneously, looking skyward.

In the sky, a brilliant light tore through the dim firmant, as if an invisible giant hand had ripped open a deep gash in space!

From that rift, a surge of imnse power poured forth, followed by the reappearance of divine silhouettes.

As before, they were colossal and majestic, radiating overwhelming divine energy, charging toward the rift without hesitation.

From the rift, a blurred wizard silhouette erged in response.

This silhouette exuded a mysterious, profound aura. It showed no intention of directly clashing with the gods, instead warding off their attacks while swiftly extending a massive hand, as if inscribing strange runes in the air.

The battle erupted instantly, with laws and divine powers colliding, each impact warping the sky as if it might collapse.

Yet, amidst this fierce conflict, an invisible, overwhelming wave spread like a tsunami, centered on the sky’s rift, sweeping across the entire Elosia plane!

The wave was silent but carried a clarity that directly touched the soul.

Jie Ming felt his ntal sea clear, followed by a vast, vivid stream of information flooding his mind like a divine revelation!

In that mont, Jie Ming, Amy, Victor, and every wizard apprentice sent to the Elosia plane wore peculiar expressions.

They understood.

This was the workshop’s thod of recording and calculating contribution points!

The wizard silhouette was none other than a seventh-level high-tier wizard specializing in the fate system!

The invisible, mighty wave was his comprehensive scan of the entire plane’s fate laws, conducted the mont he tore through the planar barrier!

He wasn’t scanning physical matter but the causal and fate trajectories of every wizard.

Every action taken by each wizard apprentice, every impact on the plane’s laws, was clearly recorded under this fate wave and quantified as “contribution points.”

This thod was both precise and cheat-proof.

Moreover, after collecting all the intelligence, the wizard compiled and shared it directly with all the apprentices.

A stream of information coalesced in every apprentice’s consciousness, and a glowing “scroll” abruptly appeared in their minds.

It listed thousands of nas alongside their corresponding contribution points.

The first line of the scroll read, “Noren Workshop Elosia Plane Total Contribution Ranking”—this was the contribution leaderboard!

Amy stared at the leaderboard that appeared in her mind, mouth agape, muttering, “This… this works?! Scanning fate directly?”

Victor was equally stunned, then gave a wry smile. “A seventh-level fate wizard… I’ve never heard of such a thod. No wonder the workshop dares to play like this…”

“Ahh!!”

At that mont, the wizard silhouette in the sky let out a tragic, mournful cry under the gods’ onslaught.

His form rapidly blurred, dissolving into specks of light like snowflakes scattering in the air.

—He had “faked death” to escape once again.

But before he vanished completely, a ssage was transmitted through the fate network to all apprentices’ minds.

“This leaderboard has been updated. Next update: one month from now.”

“…Haha… as expected of a high-tier wizard. His acting’s a step above the last one…” Jie Ming said after a mont of silence, his lips twitching.

“Haha… yeah…” Amy and Victor snapped out of their daze, echoing him sowhat blankly.
