Chapter 1377: Chapter 780: Recruiting Legends (Part 2)

Cole felt sowhat guilty.

According to the relevant rules, all mbers of the Source of All Magic are eligible to submit papers to school magic journals.

However, all submitted papers must not contain plagiarism and must pass a review.

As recorded within, plagiarism ans that the submitted paper cannot be exactly the sa as the content recorded in the school library’s magic books.

Each issue of the journal will be included in the library, but aside from that, any valuable content is not restricted.

Doesn’t this give mages who join other schools quite an advantage?

By mastering much magic knowledge that the Source of All Magic doesn’t have, can’t they publish many papers to earn arcane points?

But… this seems to be sothing that can’t be stopped.

Moreover, in so sense, this is a good thing for the Source of All Magic.

It can make the already formidable library even more enriched.

Councilor Lis surely has his reasons!

Cole shook his head, feeling thoughtful.

Each published paper is judged based on its innovation, importance, rigor, and breakthroughs, and given different arcane points.

Furthermore, based on the number of citations a paper receives, additional arcane points are given.

Cited?

What does that an?

Seeing this, Cole realized there was much he didn’t understand.

But he knew very well that this so-called magic journal was the core of the Source of All Magic.

Especially the last sentence of the journal’s rules.

Wisdom is great because it is shared!

Is this Lis’s expectation for the Source of All Magic?

The already high image of Lis in Cole’s mind grew even more exalted!

For those with profound backgrounds, joining the Source of All Magic might be the icing on the cake.

But for a little mage like Cole, it’s like tily help, a gift of a second chance!

Should I try writing a paper soti?

Cole silently made up his mind.

The format and requirents for the paper are already given in the magic intelligence, so it’s worth trying.

Cole looked at “Nature” in his hand, where all the papers were authored by Councilor Lis.

The depth of these papers varied, with so being straightforward enough for Cole to understand directly.

At the sa ti, there were others profound enough.

Each word Cole recognized, but when put together, he felt bewildered.

Nevertheless, this made Cole sowhat relieved.

It seems… writing a paper isn’t too difficult…

Inside the Mage Tower of the Source of All Magic,

on one of its levels, there’s a elegantly decorated reception room.

Upon entry, every sight is filled with exquisite and luxurious decorations.

The walls are inset with magic crystals that glimr faintly, akin to stars in the night sky, emitting a gentle and enchanting glow.

The ceiling is adorned with vivid magic rune patterns, seemingly containing infinite magic, ready to be awakened at any mont.

In the center of the reception room, there are a few exceptionally soft sofas, and on the small table in front of them, exquisite glasses are filled with rich amber-colored liquid, gleaming enticingly under the light, its llow aroma spreading through the air, leaving an infinite aftertaste.

Nearby, there are also so artistically crafted cakes and pastries, their delicate cream garnished with fresh fruits, colorful and mouthwatering.

An older man sat on the sofa, donned in a simple long cyan robe.

His whole being wasn’t overly adorned, yet appeared remarkably simple and grand.

Long brown hair casually tied at the back of his head, a few strands naturally falling by his cheeks, lending him an air of dashing and free-spirited charm.

“Sir Simone, nice to see you again.”

Lis smiled as he addressed the brown-haired man sitting before him.

Present here was the association’s legendary mber, the Free Reciter, Simone.

When Lis first participated in the Legendary Council eting, Simone was one of those introduced to him by Oriolan.

Lis had a certain understanding of Simone.

His past was sowhat legendary…

He was once a minstrel traveling across the continent, but by sheer coincidence transitioned into a mage.

Yet it was clear his talent as a mage far exceeded his prowess as a minstrel.

Quite smoothly, he achieved becoming a legend.

However, seemingly unable to abandon his past life, he often roleplays as a minstrel even after achieving legend status, appearing in many cities across the Pan-Continent Mage Association.

If one can pass his “test,” they would receive a small gift from him.

His “test” wasn’t any battle or magic but rather guessing the na of an introductory recitation of poetry.

Consequently, he beca a hidden character in players’ minds, gaining considerable popularity.

He’s also the legendary figure that players encounter most frequently within the Pan-Continent Mage Association.

Therefore, Lis has quite an understanding of Simone.

“This is our first ti eting, isn’t it?”

“Sir Lis, I wonder why you suddenly invited here?”

Simone smiled as he spoke while looking at Lis.

Lately, while setting up the Source of All Magic, Lis has certainly attracted attention from other legends.

Even stirring waves within the entire Pan-Continent Mage Association.

However, Simone didn’t see this as a bad thing.

To be fair, the Pan-Continent Mage Association used to be sowhat tedious.

Simone was happy to see figures like Lis bringing change.

After all, minstrels thrive on variety and adventure!

“Sir Simone, let be direct.”

“I’ve invited you today because I wish to ask you to join the Source of All Magic.”

Lis smiled as he addressed Simone before him.

“Oh?”

Simone raised his head in slight surprise upon hearing Lis’s words.

“Invite to join the Source of All Magic?”

“Precisely.”

Lis nodded affirmatively.

“Recently, surely many legends have approached you wanting to join the Source of All Magic, haven’t they?”

“Why do you suddenly invite ?”

Simone asked as he looked at Lis, after a slight pause.

“Indeed.”

Faced with Simone’s question, Lis nodded and spoke.

In recent tis, though outwardly calm, nurous legendary mbers have clandestinely contacted Lis seeking to join the Source of All Magic.

After all, the allure of Kane Floating City lies there; which legend could resist?

But Lis has temporarily brushed off their advances.

It’s not that Lis isn’t planning on letting them join; he’s rely not ready to agree imdiately.

Previously, as the Source of All Magic hasn’t fully organized its affairs, hasty recruitnt of legends would only invite the risk of slipping out of control.

Certainly, Lis has made so moves.

Among the key individuals in the Pan-Continent Mage Association, Lis aid to first draw them in.

Amongst them was the Free Reciter, Simone.

The reason Lis first reached out to Councilor Simone is because of his familiarity with him.

He knows that Councilor Simone, due to his unique hobby, stands out sowhat singularly within the association.

He doesn’t belong to any school, nor any external forces outside the association.

Besides, due to his hobby, Councilor Simone is keen on exploring other domains.

He’s quite knowledgeable across nurous domains of spells.

Which is why he’s able to award various types of rewards to players.

This is exactly what Lis found beneficial.

“So you want to be the associate editor of the Source of All Magic’s magic journal?”

“What’s that about?”

Simone listened to Lis’s offer with a bit of confusion.

“In short, aside from , you’ll primarily be responsible for the magic journal.”

Lis sipped a mouthful of fine wine from his cup, smiling.

“Simone, what do you think of these magic journals…?”

“Ah~”

Simone sighed after a mont of silence and said:

“A genius idea, if you persist, will change the entire Pan-Continent Mage Association!”

“Well then, do you wish to join?”

Lis smilingly asked.

“Of course!”

Simone laughed in response:

“Such a splendid adventure, how could I miss out?”
