I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means Chapter 1394: 789: Accepting a Disciple (Part 2)
Chapter 1394: Chapter 789: Accepting a Disciple (Part 2)
Cole rubbed his head a little embarrassedly and sat up from the bed.
He walked to the edge of the balcony with so curiosity.
A cool breeze blew by, revealing a magnificent and beautiful scene before him.
His gaze slowly swept around, only to realize in surprise that he was on a high tower of a Floating City.
This Floating City was like a dazzling pearl, flying lightly in the sky as blue as a gemstone.
The surrounding sky was so pure, without a trace of impurity, that it seed as if crafted ticulously by nature with the finest hues.
Snow-white clouds, like loyal guards, neatly surrounded the Floating City, adding a touch of grandeur and mystery to it.
The entire Floating City, under the sunlight, shimred with gentle radiance.
And the Floating City itself was even more breathtaking.
It was overall a unique azure color, seemingly condensed from infinite Magic Power.
Towers stood tall, one Mage Tower after another rose, piercing the clouds.
The designs of these towers varied, intertwined, composing a stunning picture.
At first glance, the imnse scale and unique architectural style of the Floating City gave a powerful visual impact.
Cole seed to be in a dreamlike world, causing amazent.
Is this the Floating City?
Although as a mber of the Pan-Continent Mage Association, Cole had never ascended to the two Floating Cities of the Association.
Even so, Cole had heard of the two Floating Cities’ situations.
He could be certain that the Floating City before him was not one of the Association’s.
So, without a doubt, this was Kane Floating City from the Source of All Magic!
Being on the Floating City, Cole felt the surrounding Magic was extrely active.
Here, casting spells, whether in power or scale, would be much more potent.
Even, there was a sense of comfort, like soaking in a warm spring.
“If you’re awake, then co with .”
The Black Cat jumped off the bed and twisted its cat steps towards the door.
“Yes.”
Cole quickly nodded and followed the Black Cat out of the room.
Everything outside the Floating City felt incredibly novel to Cole.
However, at this mont, he could only suppress his curiosity and honestly follow behind the Black Cat.
As known, in the magical legends associated with Fulong City, it’s said Floating Cities are quite powerful yet dangerous places.
He was just a small Silver Mage; perhaps an Elental Magic Statue could easily take him down.
Following the Black Cat, Cole walked through corridor after corridor, up and down several Magic Energy Platforms, but still seed not to reach the destination.
Furthermore, along the way, except for a few patrolling Elental Magic Statues, Cole did not see other people.
Shouldn’t it be?
A Floating City can’t be without anyone, right?
After hesitating for a mont, Cole asked the Black Cat:
“Lord Black Cat, where are we going?”
“Of course, to et your teacher!”
The Black Cat turned its head, looked at Cole, speaking with a tone of amusent.
“My… teacher?”
Cole’s mind, sowhat fuzzy from just waking up, didn’t react imdiately.
“Didn’t you complete Lis’s task?”
“Otherwise, what did you put in such effort for?”
The Black Cat wagged its tail, slightly worried.
Could this new disciple of Lis have been driven silly by writing the paper?
“…I rembered.”
Cole then recalled, his mood uncontainably excited.
Yes, he completed the paper instructed by Lord Li Si!
So, was he really going to beco a disciple of a Legendary mber?
Still, that recently famous Lis mber in the Pan-Continent Mage Association!
Phew~
Cole cald himself.
This was an extrely rare opportunity for him, but it also brought considerable pressure.
Becoming a disciple of a Legendary mber surely cos with heavy pressure.
Yet, no matter how nurous the difficulties, Cole did not want to give up.
If he couldn’t seize such an opportunity, he might regret it for life.
The Black Cat noticed how quickly Cole cald down, still sowhat uncontrollable but already excellent for a young person.
No wonder Lis would take on this disciple.
The Black Cat knew how difficult it was to independently complete a paper that t Lis’s requirents and was fit to publish in the Magic Journal!
Even though the initial release of the Magic Journal had been slightly lenient, Cole becoming the first was already impressive.
Being a Magic Intelligent Life managing both Kane Floating City and the Source of All Magic, the Black Cat indeed cared about the outstanding in its faction.
“Bringing you here is also to get you familiar with it.”
“You will also have the qualification to apply for the Magic Workshop here in the future, don’t miss it while you have the chance.”
Cole didn’t quite understand what the Black Cat said.
But it seed like this place was quite a crucial part of Kane Floating City?
Cole followed the Black Cat closely while keeping an eye on the surroundings.
Very soon, the Black Cat led Cole to an unusual garden.
This was a mysterious, extraordinary Magic Garden, where various Magic Plants grew wildly.
ticulously cultivated colorful crystal flowers emitted strange glows, and unique Magic Fruits swayed in the wind, storytelling the wonder of magic.
On a soft lawn in the center of the garden, sat a young man in a simple black robe.
The robe had no unnecessary adornnts, yet exuded an indescribable solemnity and mystery to Cole.
Cole instantly recognized him.
[All Things Dominator] Lord Li Si!
Lis sat cross-legged, posture upright, eyes closed, seemingly absorbed in profound ditation.
Even Cole could sense the powerful yet gentle Magic Power surrounding him.
This magic flowed gently like a babbling brook, slowly fluctuating, as if possessing its own life and rhythm.
Where the magic reached, miracles quietly occurred.
On the once tranquil lawn, tender green sprouts erged rapidly like budding after rain, brimming with vitality.
Vivid flowers blood competitively, dew hanging on petals, sparkling with a magical radiance.
They, like loyal guards, clustered around Lis, making him appear even more mysterious.
Even more astonishing was the vague illusion of a starry sky erging around Lis’s body.
Dazzling stars flickered intermittently, and the vast starry rivers seed to be within reach, with the deep mysteries of the Star Realm barely revealing themselves.
The vision was dreamy and surreal, making one feel like being in the vast Star Realm, alongside stars and mystery.
Just by glancing briefly, Cole felt an uncontrollable dizziness.
It was as if he were in the starry sky, unaware of directions in all sides.
The disparity between body and spirit nearly caused Cole to stumble right in place.
The Black Cat glanced at Cole, waving its paw.
Little bursts of magic condensed behind Cole into a recliner for him to sit down and restore his status.
The Black Cat’s body also stretched and elongated arbitrarily, and soon a charming black-haired girl appeared before Cole.
The Black Cat sat across from Cole, delightedly enjoying snacks and red tea brought by the Magic Statue.
At this mont, Lis slowly opened his eyes.
Finishing the cultivation of the Star Breath ditation thod of Oriolan, Lis stood up.
Though having been in ditation status just now, Lis was still able to perceive the arrival of the Black Cat and Cole.
“Cole, quite good, faster than I expected.”
Lis looked at Cole and said with a smile.
Despite still feeling uncomfortable, Cole quickly stood up and respectfully said:
“Thank you for your guidance earlier, or I might not have yet started with Space Magic.”
“No need to be so modest.”
Lis shook his head and said with a smile:
“Being able to have such thought upon just mastering Space Magic is quite comndable.”
“Since you’ve t my requirents, are you willing to beco my disciple?”
“I am willing.”
Cole answered without hesitation.
But sohow, he suddenly shivered.
Looking at Lis’s smile, a feeling arose that sothing not so good might happen…
