I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means Chapter 1603 - 888: Me? Become an Abyss Demon?
Duke Burns’ Domain,
Hearing Lis’s words, Burns did not respond directly, but fell into Silence.
Although his expression did not change in the slightest, both Lis and Angela understood that Burns was hesitating.
After all, to request the help of the Blood Race Ancestor Cain was also sothing he had to treat with utmost caution.
What’s more, he could already sense that powerful and dangerous Strength on Lis.
Even he could not perceive it in its entirety.
Without a doubt, Lis’s condition was not good.
Cain wanting to resolve the trouble on Lis’s body would no doubt be quite tricky as well.
"Lord Burns, I’ll be troubling you."
"When we left before, Ancestor Lord also instructed to keep a close eye on Lis."
Hm?
At these words, Lis looked at Angela with so surprise.
Cain had previously asked Angela to look after him?
How had he never known this, and he had never heard Angela ntion it either.
Before this, the only connection between Lis and Cain had been the first ti he t Angela, when he spoke Cain’s Divine na to win Angela’s trust.
And after that, Lis had thought Angela followed him rely out of gluttony, plus having nowhere else to go.
But looking at it now, it seed Cain had been paying attention to him all along?
Was it because he was a World Tree Favored?
Or...
Angela did not look toward Lis’s side; she gazed ingratiatingly at Burns, secretly making up her mind.
Next ti, she had to be able to independently contact Ancestor Lord.
As a Divine Son, being unable to contact the Divine one worshiped was far too embarrassing.
Burns leaned closer to Angela, then, after a mont of Silence, sighed and nodded.
His body hunched once more, as if bearing a burden of ten thousand jun.
"I understand. If this is Ancestor Lord’s command."
A mont later, Burns looked at Angela again and said:
"And you must work hard as well, Angela. Next ti, you handle this kind of thing yourself."
"Oh..."
Angela nodded, a little embarrassed.
Burns slowly lay back into that ornate coffin in the room again, his movents so gentle it was as if he feared disturbing sothing.
As he lay down, the coffin lid, which had been slightly ajar, began, as though controlled by an invisible hand, to close bit by bit, slowly.
The trajectory of the moving coffin lid was extrely steady, not making the slightest extra sound, as though, in this instant, even ti had beco tranquil and solemn.
Just as the coffin lid closed completely, the entire room seed shrouded by a Mysterious power.
The Blood scent that had already been perating the room instantly grew richer.
That peculiar yet faintly fragrant odor quickly flooded every corner.
At the sa ti, Dark aura surged like a tide, intertwining with the Blood scent, forming an eerie yet unique atmosphere.
Imdiately after, a thin layer of Blood Fog, like a gauzy veil, slowly spread through the room.
This Blood Fog drifted light and graceful, flowing slowly in the air, as if it possessed a Life of its own.
Yet, what was surprising was that this Blood Fog filling the room did not emit any trace of Evil aura.
On the contrary, this layer of Blood Fog was extrely pure, so pure that one felt as though placed within a sacred Domain.
Standing within this Blood Fog, Lis felt a warm and gentle Strength slowly seeping into his body.
This Strength was like a spring breeze brushing his face, softly awakening every slumbering cell in his body.
Even with his physique, at this mont it was as if fresh vitality had been injected into him anew, making him even more full of Life.
At the sa ti, Points of Holy and exalted aura began slowly to diffuse through the room.
This aura was like the first ray of sunlight at Dawn, warm and filled with hope.
This Strength, though formless, could nonetheless be tangibly felt.
It seed to be performing Purification upon the entire room, dispelling all Darkness completely.
Feeling this gradually erging Holy Power, Lis was sowhat surprised.
This was the Strength of the Bloodline Ancestor Cain?
The traits of this Strength even made Lis feel it was sowhat similar to the God of Dawn.
Very clearly, Cain was a True God of the Order Camp!
A short while later, that coffin, which had been tightly closed, slowly opened once more.
As the coffin lid moved, a beam of even denser moonlit radiance shot out from within, illuminating the entire room.
And Burns, who had originally been lying in the coffin, had vanished without a trace.
In his place stood a young man.
He wore a long black robe, the material of which looked extrely special; under the illumination of the Blood light it faintly shimred with a Mysterious glow.
He had a head of short, white, tousled hair; every strand seed carefully sculpted, neat yet full of layers.
His features were exceedingly handso: a high, straight nose, deep-set eyes, thin and seductive lips—every part of him exuded a unique Charm.
Especially those black eyes, as though hiding endless secrets, making one fall irrevocably into them with a single glance.
His entire person radiated an air of stately nobility, as if he were the king of this World, every gesture revealing dignity and majesty.
Lis knew very well that this young man before him was precisely the Bloodline Ancestor Cain!
His appearance caused the entire room to tremble.
That Holy and exalted aura also grew denser because of him.
He slowly stepped out of the coffin, each step steady and powerful, as though the entire World lay beneath his feet.
