In this seemingly dilapidated palace,

Lis arrived here and upon noticing the throne, did not imdiately approach it, but instead observed the palace itself.

This palace appeared to be a prisoner of ti, sealed away in a corner of history, isolated from the clamor of the outside world.

The palace had no doors or windows, as if it were a vast enclosed cage, blocking out all external atmospheres.

Only on the thick stone pillars, there were so faint yellow lights flickering.

The light was weak and wavering, as if it might extinguish at any mont, adding an eerie and terrifying ambiance to this dead silent space.

The entire palace was so vast it sent a chill through the heart, as if no one had arrived here for a long, long ti, devoid of any vitality, like a ghost realm forgotten by the world.

Occasionally, so unclear murals were visible on the walls, already difficult to discern due to the erosion of ti, only vaguely showing so grotesque monsters and mysterious ritual scenes.

A thick layer of dust piled up like a mountain on the floor, with a small cloud of dust rising with each step.

And throughout the palace, aside from the central throne, there was nothing else present.

The throne was crafted from so unknown white skeleton, exuding a cold and hard aura.

Below the throne were long-dried bloodstains on the ground.

These bloodstains crisscrossed with their color having turned dim and dull yet still emitting a nauseating stench, making one imagine the terrifying scene of blood flowing like rivers that must have occurred here.

On the central white bone throne, the skeleton was sowhat extraordinary.

This skeleton was rather slender, starkly different from a regular skeleton, as if an elegant noble.

Even reduced to bones, it retained a unique charm.

Each bone was as pure as jade, dimly radiating a blood-colored glow under the dim yellow lamplight, seeming to harbor a different strength.

The skeleton sat upright on the throne, posture tall, seemingly still the ruler of this palace.

Its left hand grasped a scepter seemingly polished from blood crystal stone.

The scepter radiated a rich blood-colored glow, as if condensed from blood.

It appeared as though sothing precious had once been embedded in the scepter, but now it was empty, leaving only a deep groove.

As though completely bereft of authority, this blood-colored scepter no longer emitted any fluctuation of extraordinary power.

And in the skeleton’s right hand was a black scroll.

The scroll emitted an ancient aura, with what seed to be blood-colored writing upon it.

The writing was twisted and bizarre, as if an ancient spell, instilling a chill at a re glance.

Lis tried to discern the contents of the writing from a distance but found that his gaze, once touching upon it, seed to plunge into an endless abyss, inducing dizziness.

Lis promptly withdrew his gaze and looked at the skeleton before him.

This skeleton gave Lis a faint sense of formidable presence, its presence like surging tides rushing at him in waves.

But at this mont, the skeleton seed utterly dead, showing no signs of life.

Lis was sowhat surprised—is this the remains of the once demigod vampire?

He circled the skeleton and throne from afar, scrutinizing every detail, yet saw no scars on the remains.

This left him further puzzled, unable to ascertain the cause of this demigod vampire’s demise.

Did it encounter a mightier foe, falling in an epic battle?

Or due to so severe injury, gradually perishing amidst endless agony?

Lis stood in the palace center, lost in thought.

Generally speaking, relics left behind by demigod vampires wouldn’t be that simple.

Lis’s previous experience in the sea of blood actually led him to so conjectures.

After all, encountering sothing that enhances strength out of nowhere isn’t that easy.

Such occurrences, Lis had encountered on the divine island on Pearl Sea previously.

Usually, arrangents left by strong individuals post-death are aid at finding soone to inherit or possess their body.

In most cases, they seek a suitable candidate for body possession.

Such strong individuals have no moral constraints whatsoever.

Even their own kin, if possible, would not hesitate to kill them and seize their youthful bodies.

In the prior sea of blood, Lis faced threats that weren’t particularly severe.

Though the blood beasts had so strength, they posed no real threat to legendary strongn.

The most crucial arrangent of that sea of blood was likely that blood-colored sun.

If not a vampire, one wouldn’t be able to sense the power of blood and thus wouldn’t be able to touch the blood-colored sun.

If so, vampires would be the likely candidates to co to this palace.

In that case, the blood power from killing those blood beasts serves to enhance the strength of the soon-to-be possessed body.

Lis had previously speculated this.

He had made so preparations for this.

But upon arriving at this palace, he found nothing happened.

Lis had already noticed there’s no apparent way to leave this palace directly.
