Chapter 208: Chapter 200 Goodbye, Prison!_2

He canceled the invisibility technique on both of them, and their figures reappeared inside the carriage.

“This is the place, you two just rest in the carriage, and I will have food delivered regularly.”

“The caravan will depart tomorrow. Don’t get off until we’ve left Kuka City. We can talk more after we’ve left.”

Lis nonchalantly took away all the personal belongings inside the carriage and instructed the two.

“Okay.”

Cress nodded and took off the black ring from her hand, handing it to Lis.

...

“I really appreciate your help. I’m entrusting this ring to you for now.”

Lis did not stand on ceremony, taking the ring directly from Cress’s hand and fiddling with it on his right hand.

“We haven’t even left Kuka City yet. Aren’t you afraid I’ll change my mind?”

Lis looked at Cress with a smile.

“You won’t.”

Suddenly, Liz, who was beside her, said with a serious face.

“Ha!”

Lis didn’t say anything more and just waved his hand before leaving the carriage.

After Lis left, Cress took out new bedding from her storage ring and spread it out, while saying to Liz:

“Why do you suddenly trust this Lis so much? It surprises .”

“Are you jealous?”

Lis was gone, and Liz no longer maintained her disguise but squinted and smiled at Cress.

It wasn’t that the girl was particularly cunning; she was just used to hiding her true self in front of those family mbers and nobles.

“No way!”

Cress’s face turned red, but she pretended not to care.

Liz did not continue to question her, took off the black hood she was wearing, and then said:

“It’s just so guesses.”

“A teacher my father hired taught so knowledge before, about the emblems on this carriage.”

“Emblems?”

Cress hadn’t noticed, after all, noble emblems were just nice patterns to her, not as interesting as the knowledge in magic books.

“Yes, yes, that blood-colored long sword emblem is probably the symbol of the Fis Royal Family.”

“And when I arrived, I also noticed this carriage is probably the most luxurious one in the caravan.”

“Mr. Lis’s identity must be quite high.”

Liz speculated, lying on the soft bed Cress had just made, shaking her fair and pink little legs.

“That would be even better.”

Cress didn’t care much; she was more concerned about Lis’s identity as a Silver Level Mage and a Prophet.

Moreover, the higher Lis’s status, the better. Important people won’t fool two little girls, right?

Still, combining that young and handso face with the identity of a bigwig from the Royal Capital always seed a bit weird to Cress.

“Mhm, yes.”

Liz thought the sa; she didn’t sense any bad intentions from Lis.

Unlike that “fiancé”, the look in his eyes the first ti they t was as if he wanted to devour Liz, which made her quite unnerved.

“Let’s rest for a while.”

Cress kept things simple, tidying up the carriage a bit and saying to Liz.

“Cress, you join in too! We are sleeping together tonight.”

Liz looked at Cress, hugging the blanket and laughing.

“Oh my, don’t fuss; it would be bad if soone noticed us.”

—————–

After leaving the carriage, Lis didn’t have anything else to do.

The business with the ring was not urgent; he could deal with it after leaving Kuka City.

After all, summoning a demon in the city was no small matter. It would be better to do it in a place without people in the wilderness.

As for Liz and Cress on the carriage, Lis wasn’t worried at all.

When he left, he had already set up a small ward on the carriage. It wasn’t of much use; it would just alert Lis himself if soone else entered.

Viscount Kuka was just an ordinary viscount and lord anyway, surrounded by no more than a few silver-level fighters at most. He posed no threat to Lis.

Let alone Viscount Kuka, even if that so-called Count Solo ca, Lis wouldn’t worry.

It’s just that the “wool” he sheared from Judgent Fla was too rich.

Not to ntion, with Lis’s current strength and accumulation, he didn’t think there were many of his peers who could be his opponents.

After wandering casually around the city, Lis headed back to the rcenary Tavern.

Presumably, Wutian Wusheng had already spread the news of his presence in Kuka City.

Lis opened the player forum, and sure enough, he saw a post about himself in the real-ti hot posts.

Wutian Wusheng, quite professionally, posted screenshots of Lis in the rcenary Tavern and of his joining the White Dove Chamber of Comrce.

[Shocking! Lis, who has just beco a Marquis, is now here!]

[I might be humble, but maybe so friends are familiar with my na.

Yes, I am Wutian Wusheng, the information rchant in the “Stormy Skies” ga. It’s been a while, not sure if any bosses rember .

First, a bit of advertising. Wutian Wusheng Information House, you deserve to have it!

Without further ado, straight to the good stuff.

I’m sure everyone in Feis Kingdom is aware of the two major events that happened in Bright City a while back, where Lis Kain, the protagonist, disappeared after that and hasn’t been seen for a while. A lot of brothers have been squatting outside the White Dove Chamber of Comrce to no avail.

But!

Just today, yours truly saw this NPC in the Kuka City rcenary Tavern (Note: Feis Kingdom map) and managed to have a successful conversation with him, and he joined the White Dove Chamber of Comrce, with pictures to prove it (Attached: Tavern screenshot, power affiliation screenshot).

Therefore, Lis this NPC is very special, being able to leave the headquarters and go to other regions, which no doubt further confirms his identity as the main character in the plot.

Wutian guesses, he will probably go to other places as well, neighbouring brothers can pay attention to places like the rcenary Tavern, you might just encounter him!

That way, even if you’re not in Bright City, you can join the White Dove Chamber of Comrce, after all, it’s known as the T0-level power choice since the ga started.

P.S. If any brothers see Lis elsewhere, you can comnt below this post and share the information together.

Another P.S. Wutian Wusheng Information House, you deserve to have it! (Contact privately if needed)]

Seeing quite a few Bright City players complaining under this post about squatting in vain at the White Dove Caravan, and now their main target has run off, about ‘who to talk to for reasoning,’ Lis couldn’t help but chuckle.

It seems the effect isn’t too bad.

When Lis entered the rcenary Tavern again, he saw a crowd of players squeezing up, their eager eyes on him.

Lis also didn’t reject any cors, his benevolent gaze seemingly on a fresh batch of spring onions.

He harvested a wave of experience, although only tens of thousands of points, but as the players’ levels rose, the experience they could provide to Lis would only increase.

What, you say, go sowhere else to learn skills?

Lis was very clear about which skills the players needed, especially those core skills of their professions.

Bearing the All-Purpose Talent and the Arcanist Profession, Lis wasn’t worried about losing his attractiveness in this regard.

Bronze level, Silver level, Gold level, and even Legendary skills – having been instructed by Judgent Fla, at least in terms of Mage accumulation, he would not be at a disadvantage against any power.

Not to ntion, Lis had his trump of exclusive arcane!

That day, Lis didn’t go back to the hotel either, instead spending the night right in the rcenary Tavern, happily harvesting spring onions that ca running to him on their own.

—————–

The next morning, after a day of rest and resupply, the Feis caravan continued on towards the Northern Territory.

When passing through the Kuka City Gate, the City Guards didn’t even dare to co forward for inspection.

As the private property of the Fis Royal Family, the Feis Guild’s caravan had a fairly high privilege within the Kingdom’s boundaries, one of which was exemption from city gate fees.

Those City Guards didn’t dare to stop the caravan for inspection; after all, there was no profit to be made, and less trouble is better than more.

Feeling the gentle rocking of the carriage, Liz carefully lifted the curtain and looked back at the fading black-gray city wall of the caravan behind.

Finally leaving the small city where she had lived for over a decade.

Liz had no lingering feelings, she even felt her breathing beco lighter, as if a canary had finally left its cage to soar in the sky.

Regardless of the storms ahead, since she dared to give up a comfortable noble life for freedom, she would have no regrets.

Farewell, cage!
