I Ascend to the Divine Throne through Arcane Means Chapter 781: 489: Elf Country Tirion
Chapter 781: Chapter 489: Elf Country Tirion
Lis accepted the item that Rozanara handed to him, looking at it with so curiosity.
It was a delicate silver talisman, like the gentlest moonlight in the night sky, solidified into form, emanating a faint, soft, and yet mysterious glow.
The circular edges of the talisman were polished to an extraordinary smoothness, a warmth and elegance transcending that of ordinary tal, unforgettable at first glance.
Carved into the very center of the talisman were several lines interwoven by smooth curves, as if a mountain stream leisurely wound around stones.
This talisman was quite simple, and it was evident that Rozanara had made it herself with great care.

“This is a protective talisman I made myself; it brings good luck,” Rozanara said as she glanced at Lis, then added sowhat helplessly,
“But for you, it might not be very effective.”
“After all, you have that pin…”
Lis shook his head, stored the talisman away, and said with a smile,
“A friend’s goodwill is different, isn’t it?”
“Where are you headed next?”
Rozanara shook her head slightly, a trace of a smile on her face,
“I don’t know, I guess I’ll go find another person with a twist of fate?”
“There is no need to persuade ; I have a premonition that it’s ti for to leave. Let’s look forward to our next eting.”
Having spent so ti together, Rozanara had beco a friend to both Lis and Daphne.
However, Lis didn’t harbor much sentintal emotion; it wasn’t as if there would be no chance to see her again.
As a Blessed by the Goddess of Luck, Rozanara’s safety wasn’t sothing others needed to worry about.
Afterward, Rozanara went to bid farewell to Daphne, presenting her with a talisman that was slightly different from Lis’s.
Daphne felt a sense of loss, but soon recovered.
She was happy to have beco friends with Rozanara and was quite philosophical about temporary separations.
After saying goodbye to Daphne, Rozanara, though sowhat reluctant, determinedly left.
After Rozanara’s departure, Lis and Daphne didn’t linger in Andor City any longer. Led by Daphne, they drew closer to Elf Country.
…
“How much longer until we arrive?”
Lis looked at the forest sea in front of him; the monotonous green sea of trees hadn’t changed much over half a month, and ordinary people might grow weary of it.
But for Lis, it wasn’t much of an issue; he sowhat enjoyed the energy-filled environnt of the Elf Forest.
The Martial Monk Basic Profession specialty [Proof of Nature] gave him a strong adaptation to any environnt, but given the choice to wander in the forest, who’d want to go to a desolate desert?
“Almost there, almost there!”
Daphne walked ahead, in no hurry, occasionally stopping to pick so flowers blooming in the forest.
Lis was unconcerned; although the dense forest sea could easily disorient people, that was not much trouble for Lis, the World Tree Favored.
Lis rembered the Elf Forest map in his mind and simply comparing it, he noticed that Daphne had been leading him consistently towards the southwest of the Elf Forest.
Though they took detours along the way, the overall direction hadn’t changed.
“It’s just ahead,”
Daphne suddenly stopped, pointed ahead, and told Lis.
Lis looked in the direction Daphne pointed and saw a small hill that suddenly appeared in the forest.
Not many big trees crowned this hill; so of the brown earth was exposed to the air, looking common and undistinguished from other parts of the Elf Forest.
“Do I need to do sothing?”
Lis took a look at the small hill in front of him and turned to ask Daphne.
He didn’t feel anything unusual about the hill.
“Don’t worry about it; we just need to climb up,”
Daphne nonchalantly waved her hand, her face still wearing a slight smile, like a girl hiding a little secret.
Lis shook his head slightly, not minding the Moon Elf Girl’s little joke, and cast Flying Magic on himself and Daphne.
The two flew up towards the summit of the hill.
Shortly after, Lis and Daphne gently landed atop the hill.
Although this hill was not tall, it stood out in the ocean of forest, and looking at the intermingled green and blue of the distant horizon was sowhat exhilarating.
After looking around, aside from so low shrubs on the hilltop, there was nothing special.
And no man-made structures to be seen.
Lis looked at Daphne, awaiting her next move.
She’d brought him here, and what happened next was up to her.
Daphne didn’t delay. She took a round gemstone, shimring with a hazy glow, from her storage ring and placed it in the palm of her right hand.
Lis recognized it at a glance, it was a Faith Crystal, usually used by extraordinary forces like the Church of the Gods to store Power of Faith.
Daphne using this seed to suggest that the way into the Elf Country was related to the Power of Faith.
Lis could faintly sense the suprely pure Power of Faith hidden within the Faith Crystal, no less potent than the Power of Faith he absorbed at the Bright City Dawn Cathedral.
