"Let’s go further. Be prepared to fight at any mont. Last ti, we saw the Single-Horn Badger not far ahead. I wonder if it’s still there," Lyon replied.
The team mbers held their weapons in one hand and their shields in the other. They remained vigilant of their surroundings, moving in a tight formation with Igris positioned in the center.
’Swoosh!’
Suddenly, a white figure stooped down from the cliff at the side. Its speed was astonishing, blurring through the air. The air around it was torn apart, letting out a shrill and sharp screech that hurt their eardrums.
"Be careful!" Lyon shouted.
Lyra’s expression changed drastically. She felt that the white figure was targeting her, its lethal intent locked onto her position. However, she was caught off guard by the sheer speed of the attack, and her body couldn’t react in ti. Her hands fumbled for her weapon, but she knew she wouldn’t make it.
Igris, standing right beside her, moved on instinct. His dual-colored eyes flashed, and he shoved her aside with all his strength. At the sa ti, he swung his Blade out in a wide arc.

’BOOM!’
A huge force crashed into him. The green-colored Energy collided with his blade and knocked him off his feet.
The wind energy ford by the green Energy shot out in all directions like sharp blades. Igris was right in the center, feeling as if there were hundreds of wind daggers slashing his body simultaneously. The plants around him were reduced to shreds. Wood splinters floated and danced in the air like a macabre confetti.
’BANG!’
Under the bombardnt of the enormous force, Igris was slamd heavily into the stone wall. His chest felt stuffy, and he tasted copper in his throat. If he hadn’t defended himself in ti, or if he hadn’t been wearing his reinforced battle uniform, he might have been seriously injured.
"Evil beast!" Lyon and the other team mbers instantly released their energies. Then, they simultaneously attacked the white figure with everything they had.
However, the white shadow’s speed was astonishing. It ran across the cliff as if it were on flat ground, its paws finding purchase on the sheer rock face with impossible ease. Finally, it stopped on a huge rock high on the cliff and revealed its identity.
"Single-Horn Badger!" said Lyon through gritted teeth, his eyes burning with fury.
"Are you alright?" Lyra ca beside Igris and asked in concern, her voice trembling slightly.
"I’m fine," Igris shook his head, wincing as he stood up. He looked at the snow-white Monster standing tall on the rock high up on the cliff.
"Thank you for helping just now," said Lyra, her eyes filled with genuine gratitude and lingering fear.
"This is not the ti for that. Is that the Single-Horn Badger you were talking about?" Igris asked with a strange expression.
The white Monster on the rock looked a little like a huge-sized... rabbit. It was furry with long ears. Its eyes were red, and its body was white. Only the tip of its ears was black. That was right—it looked like a giant, fluffy bunny rabbit!
However, any illusion of cuteness was imdiately shattered by the razor-sharp, spiraling horn on its head, its knife-like claws that glead with a faint green light, and the rows of jagged, razor-sharp teeth visible when it opened its mouth. It looked... Its teeth looked healthy and strong. And absolutely terrifying.
"Yes, that’s the Single-Horn Badger. I didn’t expect the beast to sneak an attack on us," Lyra’s expression was a little ugly.
"It’s injured. Look at the left side of its back. There seem to be traces of blood," Yue said, her sharp eyes picking out the detail.
Everyone followed her finger and looked in the direction she was pointing. Indeed, they saw a trace of red spreading out from the Single-Horn Badger’s back. It was hard to notice from the front, but against the pristine white fur on its flank, the crimson stain was unmistakable.
"It might have been left by the first batch of people. It’s malicious and cruel even when it’s hurt. Let’s take this opportunity to kill it and wrap things up," Lyon said viciously, his grip tightening on his twin axes.

The Single-Horn Badger roared at Lyon, its cute facade completely abandoned. It sent out a big and powerful gale from its mouth, a concentrated blast of wind that howled like a living tornado.
The gold glow on the axes split the strong gale apart, forming a long and narrow crack in the middle. Lyon appeared in front of the Single-Horn Badger in the blink of an eye.
He swept his battle axes horizontally in front of him.
’Swoosh!’
The Single-Horn Badger’s figure disappeared from the rock. Only its lingering shadow was chopped in half by Lyon’s axes. Monts later, the lingering shadow also dissipated into the air.
The next second, the body of the Single-Horn Badger appeared beside Lyon. A whirlwind ford on its sharp claw as it attacked Lyon with devastating force.
’Bang, bang, bang!’
A few gunshots also joined the battle. Below, Lyra carried her heavy machine gun and fired continuously while aiming at the Single-Horn Badger.
The alloy bullet dragged a fiery red fla along with it as it shot towards the Single-Horn Badger, aiming for its vital point. The Single-Horn Badger had no choice but to dodge. Lyon took the chance to pursue and keep the pressure on.
The two gigantic battle axes danced around in his hands. The gold glow pierced through the air and engulfed the Single-Horn Badger.
At that mont, Felix and the other team mbers arrived. Jin, Yue, and Felix executed their respective Energy battle techniques and blocked the Single-Horn Badger’s path of retreat. There was nowhere it could hide.
’Boom!’
The Single-Horn Badger was forced to take on Lyon’s gold ax glow. The sharp claws slamd into the axes along with the whirlwind on them.
The collision resulted in a frightening explosion that sent cracks spider-webbing across the cliff face.
