*Splash splash…* The rain from the sky continued to fall, and it grew increasingly heavy, with many areas becoming subrged.

Looking down from high above, one could only see green and murky earth.

Most of those murky earth was muddy water, with entire stretches of forest subrged.

It looked like a vast ocean, with not a single place free from rain.

The Spotted Deer Tribe was no different – their land was so flooded that no one could be seen moving about.

Only a few people were outside, those who were checking the structural integrity of buildings.

Because the rain was getting heavier, they had to constantly monitor the situation within the Tribe. Otherwise, if so wooden houses collapsed, the situation could beco dangerous.

The Spotted Deer Tribe had lost its previous lively appearance, looking rather desolate under the heavy rain.

The ground was completely muddy, with yellowish-black and dark muddy water flowing throughout the Tribe.

Although the Spotted Deer Tribe was considered a relatively big Tribe, everyone was helpless when the rainy season ca.

One could see people from every household crouching at their doorways, watching the pelting rain outside.

The rain seed like a man-eating beast, continuously sweeping through the entire Spotted Deer Tribe.

At most, they could only watch from their doorways. They had no other choice and were completely powerless to resist the elent. They could only submit to it.

So, when it rained, there were many people inside the Spotted Deer Tribe, with everyone taking shelter in their hos.

Only the Totem Warriors, who were permitted to go out, remained outside, while others barely worked at all.

The remaining people mostly waited for food distribution in the Tribe, as they could not do much else in the heavy rain.

Of course, the Warrior Trainees of the Spotted Deer Tribe would still train during these rainy days.

As for their training thods, each Tribe was different. For the Spotted Deer Tribe, they did not train accuracy in the rain. They focused more on strength training, so during the rain, they would enter the forest to carry stones.

Each Warrior Trainee had to carry a large stone from one side to the other.

Lu Lin was currently at her wooden house’s doorway watching the raindrops fall from the sky, and she remarked, "Another rainy season…"

She greatly disliked the rainy season, for no other reason than being unable to go out.

She had grown accustod to helping with marketplace matters in the Tribe. Suddenly having to stop made her feel sowhat uncomfortable.

Even so, she had no choice – it was raining outside, and there was nothing else she could do.

"Ah’Lin, what are you thinking about?" Shaman Lu Shan suddenly asked. He saw that his Daughter had seed preoccupied all day, even being distracted while eating.

Originally, he had wanted her to return to her wooden house to rest, but unexpectedly she was unwilling to leave.

Not leaving was one thing, but she would not talk to him either. He was in the middle of crafting Shaman Bone Tablets, but she showed no interest in coming to take a look.

"Nothing much, I’m just wondering when this rain will stop." Lu Lin quietly said.

The deer horned girl ca back to her senses and walked to her Father’s side, and observed the crafting of Shaman Bone Tablets.

There was no other reason – she had been chosen as one of his Successors, and would likely take over the Shaman position in the future. So, she would have to learn this, and had even begun learning Shaman Techniques.

Not only that, she was required to learn from so of the Tribe’s Elders.

"You’re not being honest with . Your heart obviously isn’t here. Even if you watch, you won’t absorb anything." Shaman Lu Shan solemnly said.

How could he not understand his own Daughter? When she seems distracted like this, there must be sothing on her mind.

*Haaa…* Lu Lin sighed and said, "Father, I don’t like how our Tribe is now."

She really hated the rainy season. Whenever it ca, the entire Tribe seed devoid of vitality. Most importantly, when the rainy season ca, people could not go out, and the usually lively Spotted Deer marketplace could not be held.

So, the coming of the rainy season was nothing but a painful month for them.

"What does it matter if you don’t like it? Our Ancestors have lived this way for generations. No matter how much we dislike it, we must continue living." Shaman Lu Shan sternly said.

This was the first ti he had heard his Daughter express such thoughts, not realising she had always felt this way.

"I’m not talking about our way of life, but why must we be restricted when the rainy season cos?" Lu Lin explained.

She also wanted the Tribe’s people to be able to live normally during the rainy season like usual. Naturally, also for the Spotted Deer marketplace to operate normally as before, rather than having to stop when the rainy season or snow season arrived.

"Then what solution do you have? If generations of Ancestors could not solve this problem, can you?" Shaman Lu Shan asked in return.

He really felt his Daughter was acting strange today, wondering why she would suddenly ask these questions.

"I don’t have a solution right now, but I want to solve it – to lead our Tribe to live differently." Lu Lin earnestly proclaid.

Though she had a gentle and quiet exterior, when she spoke, her words were strong and forceful, quite fitting for the Successor of the Tribe.

"In short, you have no solution. When there is no solution, we have to accept reality as it is." Shaman Lu Shan’s deep voice responded.

He felt proud. He knew his Daughter was capable whenever she got serious.

"Father, we previously traded a lot of Linen with the Fla Dragon Tribe. Although we exchanged enough food to get through the rainy season, we don’t have salt." Lu Lin said.

This was the biggest problem facing the Spotted Deer Tribe now – their Tribe was running out of salt.

The Tribe that originally supplied them with salt no longer provided large quantities, and they were unwilling to trade even with Linen.

This was clearly ant to suppress the Spotted Deer Tribe, and besides jerky and Linen, people who ca to the Spotted Deer marketplace also wanted salt. In fact, what most wanted to trade for was salt. Yet, recently, the salt supply had decreased to the point where it could only supply their own Tribe.

Shaman Lu Shan’s golden eyes were full of worry as he frowned and said, "Although Linen can keep our Tribe running, we really can’t continue to go on like this without salt."

First, their own Tribe needed to use salt, and second, they needed it to trade with other Tribes.

"Should we try talking with the Flying Fish Tribe?" Lu Lin suggested.

"Let’s see after the rainy season. If we can negotiate with them, that would be best." Shaman Lu Shan said.
