The rain in the Fla Dragon Tribe continued falling without any sign of weakening, creating a misty scene as far as the eye could see.
Yan Hua had changed into animal hide clothing early this morning, unwilling to wear linen clothing to go out.
She hurriedly left the cent house with Sha Lan. Today, they were going to gather mushrooms.
This was also to add more food sources for the Tribe. It had been raining for several days, and various mushrooms had already grown quite well in the forest.
*Splash splash…*
"Ah’Lan, hurry up, let’s quickly get to the forest." Yan Hua urged from behind.
"Don’t rush. Even if we get there we still need to gather with everyone before entering." Sha Lan said.
Sha Lan really had to praise Yan Hua’s boundless energy – she was always full of vigour no matter the ti and the occasion.
This morning, when the Shaman just ntioned going to gather mushrooms in the forest, she was already beside herself with excitent.
"It’s fine. Getting there early is good too!" Yan Hua said with a grin. She had been cooped in the room, and wanted to stretch a bit.
Recently, training had not been very frequent, as the difficulty of training during the rainy season was much greater than usual. So, after one session, their whole body would ache for several days, so after each training session, the Warrior Trainees needed to rest for one or two days.
Only the Totem Warriors had more frequent intensity training – they could sotis train for an entire day.
"I really envy you. If I had half your energy, I think my days would be much more enjoyable." Sha Lan said with a smile and shook her head.
The two ca downstairs and put on their prepared raincoat and straw hats. They also carried an extrely large wooden basket, which reached up to their hips when placed on the ground.
The quality of the raincoats was quite good. The leaves were all waterproof, with many layers densely woven together.
Making one raincoat took quite so ti – only about two could be made in a day. Thankfully, Gu Mu had recruited and trained quite a few people, allowing the production to et the demand.
Still, the Warrior Trainees and Totem Warriors did not have that many of them.
Those apprentices all helped prepare leaves, thin vines, or string leaves together and other preparatory work, so Gu Mu could pick them up and make them into finished garnts.
"Let’s go." Yan Hua said, adjusting her properly worn raincoat.
"En." Sha Lan nodded and took the lead stepping into the rain.
*Pitter patter…*

The two walked through the rain curtain to the gathering place. Yan Jiao was already waiting there, along with other Warrior Trainees.
Over the next ten minutes, all the Warrior Trainees gathered together. They all stood straight in place, undaunted by the raindrops falling from above.
"Today’s work was arranged by the Shaman. This work concerns the food you normally eat, so you must take it even more seriously." Yan Jiao earnestly announced.
He was happy to have a mission that would increase the amount of food for the Tribe.
Although the Tribe currently had enough food, having more would not hurt.
"Understood.” The Warrior Trainees responded in unison.
"This ti, we’re just gathering mushrooms in the forest on the outskirts of the Tribe, so you don’t need to go very far. It’s also safer."
Yan Jiao stood straight, paying no mind to the rain above as he continued. "This ti, there won’t be any Totem Warriors secretly watching over you. It’s just you on your own."
The Totem Warriors had their own tasks to attend to, like the Tribe’s security, river patrol, and various other duties. After all, with the rainy season’s arrival, the river water would rise, and quite a few Ferocious Beasts would wander up from it.
Although there were not as many Ferocious Beasts in the early period as the mid and later periods, they still needed to be vigilantly guarded against. They could not be careless regarding this matter.
"Understood." The Warrior Trainees responded again.
"In that case, head out. Rember the Shaman’s instructions – don’t bring back any poisonous mushrooms, understand?" Yan Jiao continued to remind them.
"Yes." The Warrior Trainees had been waiting for just these words, and everyone who heard they could leave took off like unbridled horses.
They all scattered and quickly ran towards the forest. They had all been stuck in their rooms for too long.
*Step step step…* Yan Hua ran along the rain-covered cent road straight towards the forest, unable to suppress the smile on her face.
She reached back to steady the wooden basket to prevent it from swaying everywhere, she loudly called out. "Ah’Lan, are you coming with ?"
"Sure, let’s gather together. Do you rember what the Shaman said?" Sha Lan asked.
"Of course I rember! The Shaman said not to gather mushrooms that are too bright, and also not to touch those mushrooms that look very pretty, and…" Yan Hua recited in one breath.
Su Bai had given them many reminders, because so wild mushrooms were highly poisonous. Eating them could cause diarrhea, and in severe cases could lead to death. First, they should distinguish mushrooms by their colour.
Generally poisonous mushrooms have brighter colours, like beautiful flowers. Thus, brightly coloured mushrooms must be avoided with caution, especially purple mushrooms which were more commonly known to be highly toxic.
Second, mushrooms could also be judged by their appearance. Generally non-poisonous mushroom caps were quite flat, like the mushrooms bought in Earth’s markets. Typically, they were flat, had even surfaces and no ring-like growths.
Poisonous mushrooms have caps that were concave or convex in the centre, with varied shapes, thick surfaces, and were either very thin or thick stems.
Additionally, when poisonous mushrooms were torn open, the gills would be relatively sticky and turn brownish in colour, while also giving off a pungent stench.
Using sll to distinguish poisonous mushrooms was also a good thod, as poisonous mushrooms generally have a pungent odour. Though, this should be avoided in case of accidental poisoning.
"Oh? I thought you hadn’t rembered." Sha Lan said, seeing how Yan Hua had been constantly excited about going out.
Her face had only shown happiness, happiness, and even more happiness. It made her seem like she had not been paying attention. So, it was a little unexpected that she rembered everything so clearly.
Sha Lan did not need to say much – with her mory, morising what the Shaman had said was not even difficult for her.
"How could I not? This concerns what we’re going to eat! I would not dare to forget. Plus, aren’t you right here beside ?" Yan Hua said with a smile.
"Then, we should gather more to bring back. That way, we can eat mushrooms tonight," Sha Lan smiled.
"This ti. I will get first place!" Yan Hua said, full of fighting spirit.
"There’s no competition. So, there’s no first place…" Sha Lan really could not help but admire this energetic girl.
Yan Hua brushed her hair aside and said: "We should always aim to be first no matter what we’re doing."
"Alright, alright. You always want to be first." Sha Lan said with a smile and shook her head.
