These dogs had only run into the Fla Dragon Tribe a few days ago. Six large dogs had run in as a pack in the middle of the night.
They had been hiding behind Yong’an Building ever since, sleeping there until they were discovered early the next morning.
The commotion they caused was quite significant at the ti, as everyone wanted to catch them all and eat them.
One must understand how difficult it was to see living wild beasts in the Tribe during the snow season. Every day they ate dried at, so suddenly having fresh at available ant they naturally wanted to catch them for consumption.
However, the great commotion also disturbed Su Bai, who stepped down from Yong’an Building to see what was happening.
As soon as he ca downstairs, he discovered those few dogs. When he first saw them, he thought he was looking at Alaskan dogs from Earth.
But upon closer examination, there were still differences. Suddenly having a flash of inspiration, he decided to keep all these dogs.
At the ti, he wanted to keep them precisely so they could be useful today. After all, Alaskan dogs had previously existed as sled dogs back on Earth.
Using them to pull the sleds would be perfect, and there were six of them, so their travelling speed would be quite fast.
"Right, bring them all over and tie them all to the front of the sleds." Su Bai instructed.
When he had wanted to keep all these dogs at the ti, Sha Lan and the others had asked why.
At that ti, they only heard Su Bai say these dogs could serve a great purpose, so they should not be eaten. However, he had not specified what purpose they would serve at the ti.
But when leaving the Tribe today, hearing Su Bai instruct people to bring all these dogs along, they began to make connections.
So, when they had just heard about those sleds, the first thing that ca to mind was relying on these dogs to pull them.
"Understood." Yu Ying turned around and had people go lead those few large dogs.
"Shaman, can these dogs really pull these sleds?" Sha Lan looked at those dogs with doubt.
"You’ll know in a mont," Su Bai did not explain too much.
Since he did not know how strong these dogs were, whether it would take two or three dogs to pull one sled would all need to be tested.
"Shaman, they’re all tied up." Yu Ying imdiately walked back.
Three sleds were placed on the ice surface in total, with two dogs tied to the front of each sled.
Those few dogs had been Tad beforehand, so now they all appeared very well-behaved, constantly sticking out their tongues and wagging their tails in place, looking particularly playful.
"Let’s go. Get on and try it to see how it works," Su Bai took the lead in walking towards the nearest ice sled.
"Shaman, let us try it first," Ye Jiu was quite worried about danger appearing.
Ye Jiu had been cautiously watching those sleds, always feeling that those things were not very safe.
That was even more so when using these few dogs to pull them. Just looking at it seed dangerous, but she had never thought these were ant for people to ride until she heard it just now, then imdiately walked over.
Su Bai’s black, thick eyebrows raised slightly. He had not expected the other party to react so quickly.
He nodded and said, "Then you go up and try it, and see how the speed is while you’re at it."
He knew that if he did not let Ye Jiu try first, she would definitely not feel at ease, so he still let her give it a try.
Ye Jiu brought two Warrior Trainees onto the sled. After sitting down, she pulled the rope and began controlling those dogs.
*Woof woof woof…* Those few dogs began barking, and their fleshy paws also started running.
*Creak, creak…* The sled also began moving in response, starting with slow movent at first, then as the dogs ran faster and faster, the sled’s forward speed also beca increasingly fast.
In the blink of an eye, the sled had run to a very distant place. Although the forward speed was very fast, the sled remained stable throughout, with no apparent issues.
As the sled got further and further away, everyone watching from the original spot was completely stunned. This was the first ti they had seen such a thing.
"So this is a sled. It can actually run so fast on ice," Yu Ying was still sowhat unable to recover.
Yu Ying only rembered blinking her eyes a few tis, and the ice sled that had been in place disappeared from sight.
"How interesting. Those few dogs seem perfect for this." Sha Lan sighed. She had never imagined they could advance so steadily on ice, and moreover being pulled by several wild beasts. This was similar to the carriages.
The only difference was that this ti the sled did not have wheels like a carriage, but relied on two long bone pieces for support. It was truly sowhat inconceivable.
"Amazing! I must try it later!" The first thought that jumped into Yan Hua’s mind was to operate it.
Yan Hua was quite hot-blooded and liked trying new things. Now seeing such an interesting thing, how could she not try it herself?
"Shaman, the sleds are so interesting. How far can it go?" Sha Lan asked curiously.
"As far as those dogs can run. Well, as long as there is still solid ice underneath." Su Bai explained.
The ice sled’s design was relatively simple and also adopted very labour-saving thods, so pulling them was not tiring for those dogs. This also saved them considerable stamina, allowing them to run for longer periods.
"Shaman, will this sled suddenly fall apart halfway through? I’m very worried about you," Yu Ying’s soft voice sounded.
Yu Ying was still quite concerned about safety issues. After all, this thing was running on an ice surface, and at such high speed. If so incident were to occur, it would be very difficult to cope with.
"Don’t worry. I’ve checked them. These sleds all have no issues. You just need to operate them properly." Su Bai said gently.
The sleds were all standing steadily on the ice surface, with very strong grip capabilities. As long as those dogs did not cause any problems, these sleds would not have any problems either.
Even if those dogs suddenly stopped or fell down, the sleds could still be stopped before they hit. There was also little chance of it overturning.
"That’s wonderful. Being able to move quickly on the ice surface must be very fun," Yu Ying began looking forward to it after her concerns were dispelled.
"Anyway, each sled is so big. Shaman, shall we sit together?" Yan Hua asked.
She wanted to operate it herself, and also wanted to protect the Shaman, which was why she made this request.
"Yes, but you must first watch how to operate it first. After you learn how, then you can take over." Su Bai said softly.
"Yes," Yan Hua agreed without hesitation.
