"Shaman, I think we should launch a preemptive strike again!" Yan Hua said with surging passion.
Ever since completing the last mission, Yan Hua’s enthusiasm had remained consistently elevated.
Moreover, she was extrely eager to continue contributing to the Fla Dragon Tribe. Now that danger had arrived, she felt they should not avoid it.
"Ah’Hua, we don’t even know where the enemy is. How can we launch a preemptive strike?" Sha Lan pressed her shoulder.
Sha Lan felt inexplicably exasperated, sensing that Yan Hua’s passionate energy was simply inexhaustible.
Truthfully, she actually felt a bit envious, envious of how the other maintained such vigor at all tis.
"Actually, Ah’Hua isn’t wrong. We certainly can launch a preemptive strike." Su Bai’s expression was sowhat subtle.
He had just been contemplating matters when Yan Hua interrupted, though this actually helped him conceive of a solution.
"See? The Shaman completely agrees with my thinking." Yan Hua felt sowhat proud.
"Shaman, what good thod have you thought of?" Sha Lan asked curiously.
Sha Lan was completely different from Yan Hua. One looked perpetually fired up, while the other remained calm and quiet.
"We can prepare in advance and intercept them halfway. As long as we prevent them from approaching our Tribe, everything will be manageable." Su Bai explained.
He absolutely refused to let those people approach the Fla Dragon Tribe, especially since the Fla Dragon Tribe was currently constructing the city walls and cent houses.
They still didn’t know the enemy’s strength. If they allowed them to do sothing to the walls under construction, that would be problematic.
"Shaman, won’t this be too risky?" Ye Jiu asked worriedly.
The wolf eared girl had arrived while Su Bai was thinking over this. Seeing how serious the Shaman looked, she hadn’t dared disturb him and simply stood nearby.
"That’s right. I think we should stay and defend the Tribe." Cang Shi also said seriously.
They had originally co to report on their work. Upon arrival, hearing that Yan Hua and the others had already reported, they waited nearby for orders.
"On the contrary, I feel that remaining in the Tribe is too passive. I agree with the Shaman’s thinking. Taking direct action would be better than waiting in the Tribe for them to co." Yan Jiao said seriously.
His thinking aligned with Yan Hua’s. He too was unwilling to let the opponents reach the Tribe first.
Perhaps because he had previously experienced the Ancestral Land being invaded by the Black Snake Tribe, he was no longer willing to wait passively for an invasion.
"According to what you’re saying, we’d need to dispatch Warriors out there. But what if this is just a ploy to deceive us?" Cang Shi countered.
The two of them were like this, frequently holding opinions that did not align, which was the usual reason for their argunts.
"Of course we wouldn’t send our Tribe’s Warriors out directly. We would need to send people on patrol first." Yan Jiao rebutted.
"The Chieftain makes a good point. I want to expand our patrol range. That way we can predict in advance where they’ll arrive, then make corresponding counterattacks." Su Bai said with asured precision.
Currently, the Tribe’s patrols never ventured that far. The furthest distance was half a day’s journey from the Tribe.
If the current patrol range remained at half a day’s distance, it would be too late once they actually spotted the enemy.
"Does the Shaman want them to patrol one day’s distance outside the Tribe?" Cang Shi asked curiously.
"More than that. At least two days’ distance. Only then will we have enough ti and planning to respond." Su Bai shook his head.
One day’s distance was still too close. Besides formulating plans, they needed preparation ti. At minimum, it required two days.
"Shaman, should we use hot air balloons for patrol? Only hot air balloons would save enough ti." Yan Jiao asked.
Su Bai raised his eyes and shook his head, saying seriously. "No, hot air balloon patrols are too conspicuous. Anyone looking up could see them. Wouldn’t that expose us?"
"Our Tribe only has Ai’er, Cheng Shi, Shu Feng, plus Lee Yun and Zen as Warriors with wings. Should we have these five rotate shifts?" Cang Shi counted on his fingers.
Lee Yun and Zen were from the newly awakened batch of Warrior Trainees. The forr was a female Warrior Trainee, the latter a male Warrior Trainee.
The female Totem Warrior was a dragonfly Demi-Human. Her slender, transparent wings were quite beautiful, with two pairs of different sizes.
The male Totem Warrior was a sparrow Demi-Human, with a pair of tiny sparrow wings that looked miniature, as if not fully developed.
Both were young, around sixteen years old, their faces appearing exceptionally immature.
"Have them rotate patrol duties. Their flying speed is actually faster than hot air balloons, which would save even more ti." Su Bai instructed.
"Yes, I’ll arrange the patrol work shortly." Yan Jiao responded.
"Have the two Warrior Trainees accompany them as well. Consider it practical training." Su Bai added.
"Understood. I won’t let those two go alone. For safety’s sake, I’ll have soone guide them first." Yan Jiao said seriously.
Because this matter concerned the Fla Dragon Tribe’s survival, after the previous Black Snake Tribe incident, he had to be extraordinarily cautious.
"Besides patrol work, we must also begin preparing our Tribe’s defences." Su Bai said in a low voice.
He refused to continue sitting idle waiting for disaster. He needed to properly arm the Tribe.
"Shaman, is there anything you need to arrange for them to do?" Yan Jiao asked.
"Nothing for now. Let consider the plan today first. You go arrange their patrols." Su Bai raised his hand.
He wanted to carefully devise a battle plan. This conflict absolutely had to proceed flawlessly.
"Alright." Yan Jiao turned and departed.
"Shaman, is there any work I can do?" Cang Shi imdiately asked.
He felt sowhat restless, having heard upon returning that hunting expeditions to the Hunting Ground had been cancelled.
"Go train the Warriors first, but don’t tell them about this yet. We can’t let them get too anxious." Su Bai instructed.
"Alright!" Cang Shi responded imdiately.
*Step step step…*
The sound of footsteps receded.
Su Bai watched their departing figures, then turned to gaze at the Tribe through the floor-to-ceiling window.
He contemplated for quite a while before slowly speaking, "The real war is only beginning."
Although they had experienced one or two conflicts previously, he still felt that only now was the true war actually starting.
"Shaman, what’s wrong?" Yan Hua asked, puzzled.
She rarely saw the Shaman display such a serious expression. Everyone suddenly felt sowhat at a loss.
"Nothing. You’ve only just returned. Go wash and rest properly first." Su Bai said gently.
He wanted to remain alone with his thoughts. Only then could he devise the most rational battle plan.
"Alright." Yan Hua and the others departed sowhat hesitantly.
