For a mont, no one in the courtyard spoke.

The Hashira had already heard Zenitsu's breathless account. They had been told that the spirit inside Tanjiro's sword looked like an unbelievably beautiful girl.

But hearing such a thing and seeing it with their own eyes were two different matters.

The figure floating beside Tanjiro seed to have stepped out of an old legend.

Dark-purple hair. Crimson eyes. White horns. Long, inhuman ears. A beauty so sharp and unnatural that it felt less like flesh and more like a myth given shape.

The worldview of the Hashira cracked all at once.

So the stories were real.

Sword spirits. Gods. Curses. Miracles.

Such things truly existed.

Mitsuri Kanroji's cheeks flushed scarlet as her gaze swept over Asuramaru again and again.

So cute…

Then she caught herself, flustered.

Wait, is he Asuramaru?

Beside her, Tengen Uzui touched his chin, his eyes bright with interest.

What a flashy form. Worthy of that sword.

Then his gaze flicked toward the weapon at Tanjiro's waist.

I wonder how flashy it is in actual use.

Kochou Shinobu's smile remained unchanged, but her eyes narrowed slightly with curiosity. Compared with the others, she was more interested in the thod of treatnt.

A sword spirit that could heal wounds.

A demon-like power that could restore flesh.

Could such a thing truly cure the Master's condition?

Each Hashira had their own thoughts, but Sanemi Shinazugawa was the first to move.

The Wind Hashira, whose temper had almost set the courtyard ablaze earlier, lowered his head this ti. His voice was still rough, but there was no mockery in it.

"I beg you," Sanemi said, every word pressed through clenched teeth, "please heal the Master."

Asuramaru glanced sideways at him.

Then his crimson gaze shifted to Kagaya Ubuyashiki, who sat calmly on the veranda.

Those eyes seed to look past skin, past bone, straight into the soul.

A mont later, Asuramaru floated forward and landed before Kagaya. His feet still did not quite touch the ground.

"My na is Asuramaru," he said, studying him up close. "You're the one I'm supposed to heal?"

Kagaya inclined his head with perfect courtesy.

"It is a pleasure to et you, Asuramaru."

His voice remained gentle, as soft as spring rain.

Unfortunately, such a voice had little effect on Alex.

Or rather, Alex was determined not to show that it did.

"Enough pleasantries," Asuramaru said, sounding impatient. "Let see what exactly is wrong with you."

He raised one slender, jade-white hand and placed it on Kagaya's shoulder.

Black mist seeped from his palm.

The mont it entered Kagaya's body, Alex guided his Demon Power through the man's limbs and organs, searching for the root of the problem.

The Hashira watched without blinking.

Tanjiro, by contrast, was far calr than the rest.

He believed in Asuramaru.

If Asuramaru said he would try, then Tanjiro believed a miracle might happen.

Inside Kagaya's body, however, Alex soon found the source.

It was not a wound.

Nor was it an illness in the ordinary sense.

The damage had sunk deeper than flesh and blood. It resembled a corruption written into the body itself, sothing passed down through the bloodline. A hereditary flaw. A mutation that marked the entire Ubuyashiki clan for slow death from birth.

Alex frowned inwardly.

If this were rely an injury, it would be simple. Even organ damage was not impossible to repair.

But genetics?

That was different.

And yet, this world was not governed by ordinary rules alone.

This was a world where souls existed, where fate had weight, where reincarnation was more than a fairy tale. According to what Alex rembered, the Ubuyashiki clan's affliction was not only a bloodline defect.

It was a curse.

A curse born from Muzan Kibutsuji.

The truth behind it did not matter for now.

Alex could not rewrite the entire bloodline at its root. At least, not yet.

But the damage the curse had already caused to Kagaya's body?

That could be treated.

And that was enough for his plan to continue.

Asuramaru withdrew his hand.

He floated backward slightly, propping his chin with one hand as though pondering sothing troubleso.

The entire courtyard tensed.

Could it be cured?

Or not?

Kagaya felt the hand leave his shoulder and asked with the sa quiet composure as before, "May I ask what you discovered?"

Asuramaru lowered his hand.

His answer was blunt.

"This is not an illness."

The Hashira froze.

Asuramaru's crimson eyes rested on Kagaya.

"It is a curse."

The words struck like a bell.

Most of the Hashira did not know the full truth, but Kagaya did.

The Ubuyashiki clan had suffered this curse ever since Muzan Kibutsuji was born from their bloodline. Their children were frail. Their lives were short. Their male descendants, without exception, rarely lived beyond thirty.

Kagaya's expression did not change much, but the slight silence that followed him said everything.

The Hashira were less concerned with the nature of the curse.

Only one question mattered to them.

Could it be cured?

Tanjiro could not hold back and asked first, "Asuramaru… can you cure it?"

Kagaya smiled gently, as if comforting them instead.

"Please do not force yourself. If it cannot be cured, that is all right. I have long since made peace with life and death—"

Before he could finish, Asuramaru placed his hand on Kagaya's shoulder again.

Black mist surged outward.

In the blink of an eye, it swallowed them both.

"Asuramaru!" Tanjiro called instinctively.

The Hashira reacted even faster.

Sanemi stepped forward at once, his hand already moving toward his sword.

"Wait!" Tanjiro shouted. "Asuramaru is probably treating the Master right now. Please don't interfere!"

Sanemi's face darkened.

Distrust was written plainly across his scarred features. His eyes were fierce enough to tear flesh.

"If anything happens to the Master," he growled, "I'll kill you and your sister right here. Then I'll commit seppuku to atone."

But after saying that, he stopped.

The others also held their ground.

No one understood Asuramaru's power. Acting recklessly might harm the Master instead.

Mitsuri clasped her hands tightly, her face still flushed, but worry filled her eyes.

Will it really be okay?

The courtyard fell into a silence so heavy it seed even the wind had stopped.

Everyone waited.

A few monts later, the black mist began to thin.

Then it scattered.

Asuramaru and Kagaya Ubuyashiki appeared once more on the veranda.

Every gaze locked onto Kagaya.

The grotesque scars that had once covered the upper half of his face were gone.

His skin had healed.

The curse's visible erosion had vanished without leaving even a trace.

And his eyes—

His blind eyes had regained their light.

For the Hashira, it was nothing short of a miracle.

Kagaya himself trembled faintly.

For the first ti in years, he could see.

He looked at Asuramaru first.

The sword spirit floating before him.

Then his gaze slowly moved across the courtyard, passing over each of the Hashira gathered below.

His children.

He saw them.

Not through reports. Not through mories. Not through imagined faces built from voices and footsteps.

With his own eyes.

Kagaya smiled, and this ti, there was unmistakable emotion in it.

"Thank you very much, Asuramaru."

His voice was still gentle, but it carried a warmth deeper than before.

"You have allowed to see my children with my own eyes once more."

Sanemi almost rushed forward.

He barely restrained himself, his voice tense with concern. "Master… how do you feel?"

The sa question was written across every Hashira's face.

Kagaya looked at Sanemi and smiled softly.

"Thank you for worrying about . I feel wonderful."

He paused, then added with quiet sincerity,

"Better than I have in many years."

A long breath seed to leave the entire courtyard at once.

Relief ca first.

Then joy.

Then excitent so intense that even the most disciplined among them struggled to remain composed.

Mitsuri stared at Kagaya, her eyes shining.

The Master without his scars is so handso…

Then her gaze drifted back to Asuramaru.

But Asuramaru is still the cutest.

Kyojuro Rengoku stepped forward, his voice bright and powerful, filled with heartfelt gratitude.

"We are truly grateful!"

One by one, the Hashira lowered their heads.
