Feng Yuwei ca here for Luo Xudong. Even upon hearing he was married and that the woman was from the countryside, she felt unwilling to accept it, always thinking it wasn’t Luo Xudong’s voluntary choice.

Now Luo Xudong has outright rejected her, shattering her last bit of fantasy.

Feng Yuwei couldn’t understand why such an outstanding and handso man like Luo Xudong would choose a woman from the countryside.

This made it easy for her to cling to a sliver of hope, believing that Luo Xudong would one day abandon this peasant woman.

But this sliver of hope evaporated into nothingness the next day when she saw Beisitian.

Luo Xudong had to do exercises every day, and Beisitian was usually alone during the day, so Feng Yuwei occasionally wandered the corridors and predictably encountered Beisitian.

Today, Beisitian wore light-colored jeans, a white shirt on top, her shoulder-length hair casually tied at the back, complenting her refined and beautiful face—where was the shadow of yesterday’s coarse clothing!

Feng Yuwei slightly opened her mouth and stared at Beisitian. She could tell yesterday that Beisitian had good looks, albeit hidden by her rustic clothes. But she hadn’t expected that with a little bit of dressing up, she’d look this good!

And her remarkably composed deanor, although unwilling to admit it, Feng Yuwei had to say that in terms of temperant, she wasn’t as good as Beisitian!

Feng Yuwei, despite being a college student, found herself inferior to a country girl!

Originally, Feng Yuwei intended to stay around Beisitian more often, thinking her urban attire coupled with the city’s distinctive aura would surely make her feel inadequate.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as planned. Seeing the current Beisitian, Feng Yuwei felt deeply struck.

As Beisitian walked past Feng Yuwei and saw her surprised expression, she inwardly found it amusing. This should dissuade a lot of unwanted attention.

Today, she planned to visit the health team mainly to experience the dical facilities and learn about Western dical culture. Whether the formal notice arrived did not concern her; becoming a military doctor was rely to have a legitimate identity.

Beisitian arrived at the health team, where a young nurse still stood behind the consultation desk. Upon seeing Beisitian, the nurse pouted, having been scolded by Nurse Liu for not finding Beisitian due to her unconventional approach, uncertain about when she’d officially qualify.

The young nurse was about seventeen or eighteen years old, adorably pouty, nad Tao Tao, sotis called Little Tao or Taotao.

"Sis, why are you just getting here? Those three dical assistants have been on duty for ages!" Tao Tao thought Beisitian wasn’t proactive enough, as she worked very hard to qualify.

"Here I am." Beisitian smiled calmly, "Where’s Nurse Liu?"

"In the office. Doctor Sun is here today, he said you’d co and asked Nurse Liu to give you a coat until your uniform arrives."

"Okay." Beisitian waved and walked towards Nurse Liu’s office.

Aside from those doctors, only Nurse Liu had a small office at the nurse station.

Once inside, Nurse Liu saw her and said with a friendly smile, "Here you are, the coat is ready for you. Everyone inside wears the uniform, but as you don’t have one yet, wear your own clothes for now."

"Thank you, Nurse Liu." Beisitian replied with a smile.

"No need to thank . We’ll be colleagues working together and need to support one another, united for common progress." Nurse Liu said.

As she put on the coat, Nurse Liu added, "Head to the doctor’s office on the second floor. Like the other three dical assistants, a doctor will guide you."

Beisitian went upstairs, stood by the doctor’s office door in her white coat, and instantly caught many people’s attention.

The newly arrived dical assistant Tian Lei was the first to look over, followed by Ding Sisi and Luo Jiali. They were taken aback upon seeing Beisitian today.

Was this the village girl they saw initially?

In the white coat, her entire deanor had transford. If they didn’t know she was a dical assistant with a background in Chinese dicine, soone might think she was an official doctor, a top graduate from a dical school!

Upon seeing Beisitian, Ding Sisi and Luo Jiali exchanged glances, their eyes carrying complex emotions.

Who could say now that Beisitian ca from the countryside?

Her exceptional temperant matched, or surpassed, those of city girls. Saying she ca from the countryside would leave the speaker feeling deeply ashad.

Yet the stark contrast made people uncomfortable.

"You’re Xiao Bei, right? Doctor Sun asked to ntor you for a while. If you have any questions, feel free to ask ."

A sowhat elderly female doctor greeted her.

This doctor had thick glasses, small eyes with single eyelids, and lips that looked gray, making her appearance very ordinary. She had little presence in the entire office, even her desk was in the corner, and a low chuckle was heard as soon as she spoke.

Upon hearing the laughter, the doctor’s tone softened greatly, sounding unsure.

Beisitian walked over and said with a smile, "I’ll be in your care for this ti."

"Not at all, have a seat here. Are you thirsty? If so, I’ll pour you a glass of water." The female doctor appeared even more flustered than Beisitian, the dical assistant.

As she looked, a low chuckling erged again, and Beisitian, with her keen hearing, not only heard laughter but also soone’s whisper, ’A pairing of diocre and a Chinese doctor, truly a marvel!’

A pairing of diocre and a Chinese doctor?

Following the voice, Beisitian looked in the direction and saw two female doctors sitting together, occasionally glancing over, their lips tightly pursed, clearly holding back laughter. Ding Sisi and Luo Jiali sat beside them.

"Don’t mind too much." The female doctor whispered to Beisitian and pulled a chair over for her to sit.

"My na is Qi Xiu Hui, and it’s my first ti ntoring soone—not really ntoring since we specialize in different subjects, just exchange ideas at the most." Qi Xiu Hui said apologetically.

Being a ntor never fell to her before. Everyone knows her circumstances, not even daring to step onto the operating table, usually handling just fevers or colds. Having her ntor soone was a definite mismatch.

The sudden task of ntoring shocked her until she learned she was to ntor a dical assistant specializing in Chinese dicine. Only then did she realize it was assigned because no one else wanted it.

Whether she ntors or not was indifferent to her. Seeing the new dical assistant getting rejected by other doctors before reporting, she felt a kindred connection and agreed. She figured she wouldn’t need to teach much, just explaining basic tasks sufficed.
