The female voice was amplified by the microphone, echoing throughout the venue. Everyone looked towards the source and saw the strikingly attractive woman, who had already drawn attention when she entered, now holding the microphone as she spoke.
She had a slight smirk at the corner of her mouth, which gave her smile a sowhat sinister charm. Coupled with her professional attire that accentuated her fiery figure, she possessed an alluring aura that naturally drew all eyes to her.
"Who are you?" Li Ying asked, glaring.
Tian Qiu tilted her head and gave a cold smile, "Is the little girl’s hearing bad? I’m the sister of the protagonist you ntioned. Maybe that little head of yours that’s about to burst can’t comprehend it. My na is Tian Qiu, the Deputy General Manager of the Weng Group."
The Weng Group is one of the companies providing military supplies. Although it’s not a state-owned company, it was established in response to national policies and is therefore able to supply certain military needs. It is also a special guest organization of the 119th Division.
For Li Ying, this was too out of place, as she wasn’t in charge of military supplies and had no idea who provided them.

The last line elevated the situation to another level entirely.
Li Ying’s face was dark. She suddenly realized the implications of what she had just said, trembling with uncertainty, "What did you say just now?"
The hall was abuzz with chatter, like watching a dramatic movie full of twists.
Tian Qiu slightly curled her lips, "One is my cousin, the other my cousin. They’re cousins, so what could possibly happen between them? You say they left work together and disappeared from the station, and you haphazardly malign them without proof. Is this how a people’s soldier behaves?"
Li Ying was filled with doubt.
"Or is your mind so filthy that seeing a man and a woman together, you let your thoughts drift that way?" Tian Qiu tilted her head, smirking while scanning Li Ying up and down.
Li Ying’s face alternated between red and pale, left speechless and mortified by Tian Qiu’s sharp retorts. If they truly were cousins, wouldn’t it an her mind was indeed filthy?
She was no match for Tian Qiu!
"You, you say they’re cousins, but where’s the proof?" A sudden inspiration flashed in Li Ying’s mind; without proof, who was to say otherwise?
"What if it’s I who is saying it?" An elderly voice resounded at the entrance.
