"What did you say?" Du Dingwei looked at Ma Sanqiang and asked.

Tian Ying was stunned and shocked. Beisitian actually dared to hit her! Her parents had never had the heart to hit her from childhood, yet Beisitian dared!
Chen Jinliang sighed in relief internally. He had worried that this sister-in-law was a pushover. If Tian Ying had been physically aggressive, he had a reason to intervene, but when it ca to shouting matches, he couldn’t just jump in and join the shouting match himself. Listening to Tian Ying call Beisitian a slut and a whore - watching Beisitian give that slap released the resentnt he felt for her.
"Your foul mouth deserves a slap," Beisitian squinted and said.
She wasn’t the type to easily submit to humiliation. Pregnancy had indeed rendered her more peaceful, but it didn’t an that when soone hurled insults at her, she wouldn’t retort.
Tian Ying, seeing the calm and cold eyes of Beisitian, felt like rushing back to hit her. However, once she saw Beisitian’s gaze, her montum weakened.
