In the end, those last two questions weren’t asked by accident—Beisitian did it on purpose!

At first she wasn’t sure whether those two questions could pull them out of the Illusion Realm; it was just an experint. She just hadn’t expected to get results on the first try. She had underestimated them.

The man and woman both had confusion and struggle in their eyes—that was a sign they weren’t fully awake yet, still fighting the Illusion Realm, just like at the beginning when they were muttering about why there was a crib, searching for flaws in the illusion.

Beisitian gave a cold laugh and said, "Go split that orange milk tea on the table and drink it."

The two of them looked toward the orange poison on the table at the sa ti, then walked over.

The woman’s rank was lower, her spirit weaker than the man’s, so when she reached the table she used a cup to split the orange toxin into two portions and handed one cup to the man.

The man hesitated for a mont, then took it.

"Drink it!" Beisitian said in a low voice, her eyes sharp as ice.

Who says a Mystic Doctor cannot kill? It’s only that the ti to kill had not yet co.

Now both the woman and the man began to hesitate, the hand holding the cup constantly trembling, sotis lifting it, sotis letting it fall again. It was obvious how fiercely they were struggling inside.

Beisitian watched from the side and spoke again. "Drink it. It tastes great."

As her words fell, the man and woman finally raised the cups, hands shaking as they brought them close to their mouths. The woman drank the poison first, drained the entire cup, and the haze in her eyes finally cleared. Her eyes then flew wide open and she clutched her throat with both hands.

The man’s confusion vanished halfway through his cup. With a crack the cup shattered on the floor, and he too grabbed his throat, then shoved a hand into his mouth, trying to induce vomiting.

Seeing this, Beisitian flicked out a fighting talisman that hit the man’s wrist, burning a charred mark into it. His hand dropped helplessly.

"You made this stuff yourselves. Do you have any idea how many children died from this poison, their bodies drained of every last drop of blood by you? If you don’t, then go down and ask the children you’ve killed." There wasn’t a trace of emotion in Beisitian’s eyes.

She could go to soone’s door and beg if it ant saving a life; and she could kill without a blink when the ti ca.

Those she killed were all people who deserved to die.

The man and woman looked at Beisitian with anger and venom in their eyes, and beneath that, a hint of fear—because in her eyes they couldn’t see even the slightest emotion. That kind of indifferent gaze chilled a person to the bone.

"Why..." wake us up?

Even though he didn’t finish the sentence, Beisitian understood what he ant.

"If you don’t wake up, how will you feel those children’s pain and terror?" Beisitian said flatly.

The two of them collapsed to the floor, bodies convulsing. It was as if all their blood was surging toward a single point. Looking closely, the veins on their left wrists were bulging rapidly. If they weren’t cut open in ti, they would burst.

This must be how they drew blood: not only poisoning the target, but forcing all the blood to rush to one place, making it easy to extract.

Blood flowing backward like this—this was Beisitian’s first ti seeing it. She didn’t know what thod they used, but it was truly wicked.

With a poison like this, even if there were an antidote, the victim would still die from ruptured blood vessels. It was an absolutely fatal outco.

Beisitian had seen darkness, seen evil, but this incident once again refreshed her understanding of how dark and evil people could be. Every ti she thought of her three children possibly falling into these people’s hands one day, her legs went weak with fear, as if all the strength had been drained from her body.

Especially when she rembered that ti Luo Yirui had already been inside their lair—if the little guy hadn’t triggered the restriction and successfully activated the Spiritual Talisman early, the consequences would have been unimaginable.

Before, without seeing this scene with her own eyes or experiencing it firsthand, Beisitian had been very afraid and worried, but there was still a limit to it. Now her greatest wish was to rip this organization out by the roots and eradicate it forever.

The veins on their wrists burst open. Maybe the drug was too strong? In any case, even the skin split with them, and blood gushed out as if it cost nothing, dyeing the entire room red in an instant.

"White, stained red... Is this the scene you like to see?" Beisitian suddenly understood why this room had been made so pure white—to set off the vivid brilliance of red. "Your minds are really twisted."

Watching the blood spreading across the floor, Beisitian stepped back two paces in disgust. Then she heard footsteps in the hallway. Judging by the timing, they should have finished extracting the blood by now.

Beisitian took out another Hallucinogenic Talisman. The door pushed open, and the Qing Yan man at the door froze when he saw Beisitian standing not far away. Then his gaze swept over the scene in front of him, horror flashing through his eyes. He imdiately reached into his jacket for his gun!

Just then, he caught a whiff of a strange fragrance. The scene before his eyes shifted, suddenly turning into a high-end club. The won in front of him were wearing almost nothing—around here, a bikini counted as overdressed.

But what he liked most were the ones in sheer gauze, with nothing underneath at all—every step revealing and concealing just enough to see clearly. It made his blood boil.

Seeing the debauched look on the man’s face, Beisitian felt a wave of nausea. Whatever hallucinations people saw were what they desired most in their hearts. Those two just now had babbled about a crib; they looked like a married couple who still wanted a child.

This man was the sa, except his illusions were obviously filthy.

When his expression turned slack, it ant he had completely let his guard down.

"Where is your headquarters?" Beisitian walked around him to close the door and asked coldly.

The Qing Yan man’s face went blank, and Beisitian couldn’t help but frown. How could there be no reaction?

"You don’t know where your headquarters is?"

"I don’t know."

Beisitian almost blurted out "You’re lying," but then rembered he was already under the hallucinogenic effect—he couldn’t lie. Yet she clearly rembered him saying earlier that he would deliver the blood to headquarters.

She could only change her approach. "How do you send the blood to headquarters?"

This ti the Qing Yan man responded. "We hand the blood over to our imdiate superior, then they pass it up to an even higher level, and then it’s sent to headquarters."

Beisitian frowned. So many layers. It seed that unless you were at the very top, there was no way to know where Qing Yan’s headquarters was.

Which made sense. If it weren’t this troubleso, the people of Qing Yan would’ve been skinned alive long ago.

"Why did you capture Jiang Xin?" Beisitian asked.

At first she’d thought they were after Jiang Xin’s spirit and blood, but the more she thought about it, the more wrong it felt.
