Speak nicely?
The corners of the mouths of four or five big n twitched—did you speak nicely to the corpses on the ground?
Beautiful won are truly terrifying!
At this mont, to these several n, Beisitian was a brutal female demon who killed without blinking!
They hadn’t thought that the three lying on the ground were the real demons.
Beisitian didn’t plan to argue with these people; a wise person won’t suffer at the mont. She might not be afraid of facing one Mystic Doctor, but she had to be more cautious when dealing with ordinary n, especially those carrying guns!
How did they get these guns, considering how strict the gun control is!
Beisitian’s deanor at this mont could not evoke any emotion of weakness from these big n opposite her—this was clearly no weakling. Just look at the corpses lying around, they were all their leaders, and upon closer inspection, each one was bigger than the last!
Upon seeing the dead bodies, the four or five big n involuntarily felt fear. If Beisitian could take down these three, she could certainly take them down too!
"Brothers, don’t hesitate. This woman’s too creepy!" The leader glared at Beisitian, his steps slightly staggering, showing so tension.
Beisitian was not pleased. Randomly pick one from the ground, and they were the true creeps; how could anyone say she was creepy? What blinded vision!
"Which of the three on the ground isn’t creepy?" Beisitian scoffed.
The man probably didn’t expect Beisitian to argue this point and instinctively said, "They are creepy, but you, who took them down, are even creepier!"
Beisitian: "..." She had no words.
"Stop wasting words with her. She’s trying to stall for ti!" Another responded and imdiately aid his gun at her.
Seeing her plan fail, Beisitian had to think of another way. She had two explosive talismans in her hand, but these five stood dispersed. Even if simultaneously detonated, its coverage would vary in extent, and injury levels would differ. If even one retained the ability to act, Beisitian’s life would be in serious danger!
Weighing the situation in her mind, Beisitian found this plan too risky; thinking it over, she accidentally fell into a deadlock.
If there was no interference from outsiders, Beisitian might be in grave danger.
She’s been stalling for Hawkeye’s rescue.
Beisitian sighed, realizing she can’t rely on others. Unfortunately, the situation now requires outside intervention...
Since retreat seed impossible, she’ll have to take an adventurous approach instead—better than waiting idly. No sooner had this thought passed than a surprise appeared on her face.
This fleeting surprise went unnoticed by the four or five n, all tense, or they would have noticed soone already standing behind them.
Despite the trembling, Beisitian smiled inwardly.
The person behind was Jiang Xin. Jiang Xin’s hands were trembling, but he gripped a fighting talisman tightly. Using it for the first ti, he was extrely nervous, but seeing the leader under siege and aid at with guns, he was furious and knew he had to do sothing.
Sweat dripped down his forehead, tasting saltiness; his right hand suddenly stretched forward, throwing the talisman, unleashed with spirit exploding, swept onto the fighting talisman as Beisitian taught him.
"Blast!"
Following Jiang Xin’s loud shout, the already tense gunn instinctively pulled triggers, only to find their hands out of power, bodies softened, and fell to the ground, even tongues numb and unresponsive...
Beisitian breathed a sigh of relief at the sight; Jiang Xin rightly used the Paralysis Talisman. With these people so tense, any other talisman might have rendered her helpless too, riddled with holes.
The Paralysis Talisman would last at least half an hour. Beisitian wasted no ti confiscating their firearms, then chose the Yellow Talisman, drawing her Paralysis Talisman, scattering it around the room. Now, they’d be paralyzed for over seven hours; once the effect wore off, they’d be too stiff to stand for a while.
These n may be cronies of executioners, but aren’t for Beisitian to dispose of. She didn’t want to kill more, stain herself with aggression; the best disposal for them was to hand them over to Hawkeye.
Jiang Xin, using the fighting talisman for the first ti, felt inexplicably proud seeing those fallen; he finally helped the leader, no longer just ordinary Jiang Xin from the small courtyard!
Jiang Xin, filled with joy, looked to the future with hope and confidence, vowing to strive harder.
Beisitian noticed his hopeful expression, refraining from discouragent; being able to use a fighting talisman doesn’t equate to becoming a Mystic Doctor—Jiang Xin had a long way to go. Still, it was his first step.
"Let’s go."
Beisitian beckoned Jiang Xin and walked out first. Hawkeye didn’t arrive yet, probably facing so tricky issue, as Wei Zhongyuan had also not arrived.
As Beisitian erged, Hawkeye had just finished combat, seemingly suffering casualties.
"They had guns." Cheng Shuwei frowned deeply. "Is Doctor Bei okay?"
Beisitian shook her head, "I’m fine. What about Zhong Yuan?"
Cheng Shuwei glanced around, "He entered to find you earlier; you must have missed each other."
As soon as he finished speaking, Wei Zhongyuan erged from inside, quickly approaching Beisitian. Seeing her unhard, he shifted his gaze, his calm deanor showing no emotion.
Beisitian looked at Jiang Xin suddenly and asked, "Where’s that little boy?"
Jiang Xin froze, his brows barely furrowed, lowering his head, "Dead."
Beisitian was stunned, "How did he die?"
Jiang Xin fell silent for a while, then said, "He was shot dead by those n while trying to escape."
In fact, the little boy didn’t rely escape but used him as bait for escape. This deeply saddened Jiang Xin; he witnessed life’s ugliness but found brightness with Beisitian and Jiang Mingzhong.
He tried trusting others, but trusting that little boy ended bitterly. Jiang Xin felt like retreating into his shell.
Beisitian saw he didn’t want to elaborate and stopped asking. She told Cheng Shuwei, "The blood nest is destroyed, the opposition will certainly notice, and the Blood Circle can start acting."
